Wild Is One Word I Can Use To Describe This Air Jordan 1 Royal Boost Custom

Air Jordan 1 Boost 1 Air Jordan 1 Boost 2

So what is exactly is a Air Jordan 1 Royal Boost Custom? It’s exactly what you think it is, a mash-up between the Air Jordan 1 and the adidas Ultra Boost. How so? Well, let’s take a look.

Designed by John Geiger and created/constructed by The Shoe Surgeon, the Air Jordan 1 Royal Boost utilizes the Air Jordan 1 Royal upper and sole-swaps it to pair it up with the Boost sole of the the adidas Ultra Boost. One quick look at social media, and you already know the shoe is receiving mixed reactions. “How could you do this to an iconic sneaker?!”. “Why?”, and other comments of similar fashion appear on my timeline. Sure the shoe is not going to please everybody, but let’s keep it real, the Air Jordan 1 High is one of the least comfortable retros. Giving it a Boost sole unit automatically makes it the most comfortable retro of all-time! The shoe’s new look may not be considered “classic” or “OG”, but if it means that my feet are going to more comfortable, I’m all for it. I can dig it. Thoughts? Sound off in the comment below.

With the Summer Olympics right around the corner, Jordan Brand is getting ready to give us a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 7 that pays homage to the international games.

Known as the Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate, this colorway of the Air Jordan 7 is essentially a modified version of the Air Jordan 7 Olympic that MJ wore during the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. This Air Jordan 7 utilizes the classic Olympic/USA color scheme as white, blue, red and gold can be seen throughout the shoe. If you plan on scooping up the sneakers then you should know that there’s some accompanying apparel that will match up perfectly with the shoe. As you can see there’s three different t-shirts, including one with the number “199” and then Michael Jordan holding up two fingers to complete the “1992.” Do you plan on picking up any of these shirt options to match the kicks? They should be arriving at select retailers as we get closer to the August 16th release of the sneakers.

Don’t forget to keep up with our Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate launch page to stay updated with this release.

Author’s Take

Out of all the AJ 10s coming out this year, this pair is my favorite and it?s a women?s style. If my size will be available, I?d purchase, but this is one of the best iterations so far this year. I?m just biased towards the palette.

Author’s Take

I prefer it in its original cut, but this colorway is pretty solid in this profile as well. I?m biased towards the palette in general. I don?t think it?ll sell out though.

Author’s Take

I?m generally a fan of this silhouette. The theme and homage to Brazil is a cool gesture, but I?m not really that inclined on this colorway. It should still garner some attention obviously, especially those from the vibrant country.

The Air Jordan 10 City Pack Los Angeles Lands In Stores Next Weekend

The City of Angels is getting its very own representation atop the Air Jordan 10 thanks to Jordan Brand’s revitalization of the silhouette’s City Pack. This ain’t no purple and gold flavor either (although we’d love to see a Laker’s exclusive hit retailers). Instead, the Air Jordan 10 “Los Angeles” follows the blueprint of other City Pack releases by taking aim at the city’s major feature – here the bright blue waters of the Pacific – through the use of a luxurious Ocean Fog leather base and vibrant Blue Lagoon lining. The model even features LA scribed on the ankle collar in that infamous 90s font while a white midsole and outsole unit is interrupted by matching Midnight Navy stripes listing Mike’s accomplishments before his retirement in 1994. The Jordan 10 LA will hit retailers on May 14th for $190 USD but you can always check for this pair right now on eBay.

Another closer look at this upcoming Air Jordan 30 is revealed, as the model is set to make its official debut in the coming weeks.

Defined by its eye-catching tone of Gym Red, the color dresses the majority of the basketball silhouette’s mixed material woven upper in a gradient, as it fades to black on the rear section. More tonal black hits are applied on the tongue, laces, inner lining, collar and heel unit, as it all rests atop an icy translucent outsole.

Other notable details include the distinctive “XXX” motif across its heel and a subtle galaxy theme on a portion of the midsole.

Expect to find this pair at select JB and Nike accounts on May 21st for $200.

Author’s Take

These latest colorways on the silhouette have been superb. I know a lot of fans are disappointed with the design (I?m not), but these upcoming colorways are pretty solid. I?m just biased.
