Although we’re still several months away from the release date, today we came across on-feet images of the Air Jordan 5 Olympic. Let’s take a look at this brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 inspired by the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

The shoe starts off with a white leather upper which also includes the side panel netting, laces and eyelets. Contrasting the all-white look are the hits of Black and Gold placed on areas throughout the shoe. The shoe’s most notable feature is without a doubt the Metallic Gold tongue. The use of Metallic Gold is meant to represent the gold medals rewarded to the best of the best during the Olympic games. Completing the look of the shoe is the icy translucent outsole. Price at $190 and scheduled to release on August 13th, let us know if you plan on picking up a pair.

Author’s Take

The gold hits on the shoe are nice, I just wish there was more of them. Adding more gold in places such as the netting, eyelets and/or laces would definitely help give the shoe some more pop.

The Air Jordan 10 Rio Is Dropping Soon

Additional detailed imagery of this upcoming Air Jordan 10 is showcased, as the model is scheduled to make its official debut this weekend.

Noted as a tribute to the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the silhouette is dressed in wolf grey for its pebbled leather upper, while obsidian converges along its midsole, leather tongue, eye stays, eye lets, laces and inner lining.

To symbolize the South American country, the nation’s flag colors are somewhat implemented on the outsole, which consists of green, yellow and blue accents. Furthermore, an embroidery of the country evident across the collar section in teal, which replaces the traditional ?23? or ?45.?

Finishing details include Jumpman branding on the rear and insoles, as well as striped pull tabs. You can purchase this pair at select JB and Nike accounts on Saturday, May 7th for $190.

Head over to our official Air Jordan 10 Rio launch page now for more details, images and release info.

Author’s Take

I?m generally a fan of this silhouette. The theme and homage to Brazil is a cool gesture, but I?m not really that inclined on this colorway. It should still garner some attention obviously, especially those from the vibrant country.

Jordan Brand Just Released A New Trainer, The Jordan Flow

Jordan Flow 1 Jordan Flow 2 Jordan Flow 3 Jordan Flow 4 Jordan Flow 5 Jordan Flow 6

Jordan Brand recently introduced to us their latest lifestyle sneaker with the Jordan Reveal. Now we get a first look at another new Jordan Brand silhouette that’s being known as the Jordan Flow.

The Jordan Flow is actually a trainer that looks like a mixture between the Jordan Trainer ST and the Jordan Eclipse. This colorway that we see above takes on a familiar “cement” look as black covers the majority of the upper with red detailing landing on the inner tongue as well as on the Jumpman branding on the tongue and ankle. The best part of the shoe has to be the elephant print that lands on the lateral side of the midfoot that gives the shoe a nice pop.

If you’d like to add the Jordan Flow to your collection you can do so now directly from nike.com for $125. There is also a White/Wolf grey pair and a Gym Red/Black pair.

Author’s Take

When it comes to Jordans I usually stick to retros or sometimes even lifestyle models like the Jordan Future. While the Jordan Flow is a decent looking shoe, I don’t see myself buying a pair.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High Nouveau Midnight Navy

If the snakeskin style of the Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle” series was just a bit too expensive for you, then you can take solace in knowing that the Jumpman is still pushing the synthetic serpent skin onto Mike’s first signature with the release of this Air Jordan 1 High Nouveau. The updated upper sees a seamless toecap covered in snakeskin while the remainder of the numerous Air Jordan 1 panels rests traditionally intact. A drop-in Swoosh branding consists of a breathable mesh while a premium white leather lining matches the Wings logo on the ankle collar. Jordan Brand’s need to revamp the AJ1 has given us David Letterman references, a Swoosh-less low top, and now more snakeskin. What do you think of the look? Grab your size right now via eBay.

Additional detailed imagery of this forthcoming Air Jordan 10 GS is provided as we near its official debut this weekend.

Just to recap, the model is essentially a girls-exclusive, hence its official moniker. Flaunting a lifestyle aesthetic with its pearl/off-white hue across its premium leather upper, the neutral tone is also evident along the eyelets, inner lining, midsole and outsole.

Capping off the simplistic and appealing two-tone color scheme consists of tonal black adorning the sole unit, tongue, collar section and pull tabs. Other notable details include subtle embossed branding on the tongue label and an embroidery of the Jumpman logo situated at the heel. Furthermore, a few of MJ’s notable accomplishments in his historic career are outlined on the outsole.

Retailing for $150, you can purchase a pair at select JB and Nike stockists this Saturday, May 7th.

Author’s Take

Out of all the AJ 10s coming out this year, this pair is my favorite and it?s a women?s style. If my size will be available, I?d purchase, but this is one of the best iterations so far this year. I?m just biased towards the palette.

The Air Jordan 15 Retro Is Releasing In Navy

Jordan Brand continues to retro some of their lesser-known signatures by re-introducing the Air Jordan 15 for Spring 2017. After a preview of an upcoming monochromatic dark grey pair, the Jumpman returns to one of the original colorways with this simple Navy aesthetic. While this pair isn’t necessarily an OG colorway given the different shade of grey on the heel and the addition of black on the midsole/outsole unit, the navy shade definitely highlights the unique woven sensibilities of the Jordan 15 quite nicely. Will you be picking up a pair? Stay tuned for a release date right here on Sneaker News and let us know what you think of Jordan Brand’s retro of the Air Jordan 15 by taking your thoughts to the comments section.

A Preview Of The Air Jordan 15 In Navy

Air Jordan 15 Air Jordan 15 1

This past March, we showcased a blacked-out pair of the Air Jordan 15, and now, another colorway of the classic basketball sneaker has surfaced online, which only indicates that a release is expected in the near future.

Certainly one of the more nonpopular models from the historic lineage, the sneaker is essentially defined by its sleek woven component on the upper, while the addition of leather is implemented along the mudguard.

Contrasted with a grey-colored overlay on the heel and a black/white rubber sole unit, stay tuned in to KicksOnFire for more updates and an official release date of this upcoming pair.

Author’s Take

I’m not really fond of this model. In some colorways, it’s alright. I think this pair is solid, maybe because I’m biased towards the palette, but I’m still not that interested.

I’ve shared before that I’m a fan of the model. I like the monochromatic offerings the most since its pretty versatile and cleaner looking. Hopefully they will release in the future.

More Colorways of The Jordan Westbrook 0 Low Are Here

Jordan Westbrook 0 Jordan Westbrook 0 2 Jordan Westbrook 0 3

About a month ago we got our first look at the low-top version of the Jordan Westbrook 0 that featured a full leather upper done in white with subtle gold detailing on the insoles and the lace dubraes.

We now see a new colorway arriving retailers that once again takes on a tonal approach but this time in all-black instead of all-white. This Jordan Westbrook 0 Low comes with a black tumbled leather upper and a contrasting white vulcanized rubber sole unit.

If you like what see and wanna you stand out from the crowd this Summer by rocking something different on your feet you can find this pair of Westbrook 0s at select retailers now.

Author’s Take

I prefer the original Mid Westbrook 0 over this new low-top version. I think the tonal upper make its look too plain. Hopefully more colorways with some contrast release in the future.

Whats This, Air Jordan 1s Without A Swoosh

air jordan 1 2 Air Jordan 1

Jordan Brand has done something that they’ve never done before when it comes to the Air Jordan 1.

A handful of sneaker influencers are beginning to receive a very unique Air Jordan 1 that we’ve never seen before. As you can see in the two pictures above, this colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is missing a really big component that has made the Air Jordan 1 as legendary as it is today. Nike/Jordan Brand have decided to remove the Nike Swoosh from these Jordan 1s and as a result making them look like a completely different shoe. I mean if you ask anyone what their favorite feature of the Air Jordan 1 is they’re probably gonna tell you that it’s the Swoosh. This Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in a premium tumbled leather in black and a contrasting white sole unit.

There is no release date yet for this “swooshless” Air Jordan 1 but it’s expected to retail for $150 due to the premium leather upper. Keep it locked to Kicks On Fire to stay updated with the latest information.

Author’s Take

Not really sure how I feel about these yet. Taking off the Swoosh is a HUGE change for the Air Jordan 1. I’d like to see more pictures before I decide if I love or hate them.
