The Sacremento Kings were a once proud franchise, but recent dysfunction has the team frequenting the bottom of the NBA standings on a season by season basis. Perhaps a new arena, new uniforms, new coach, and this Air Jordan 12 colorway will cheer up the Sactown hopeful in the near future, though. This preview of the kids pair features a simple black base, vibrant purple accents on the lining and outsole, while premium Metallic Gold accents land on the lace eyelets for a luxurious touch. It looks like this pair will be a grade school exclusive and will release at nationwide retailers on June 4th for $140 USD. Just last week we gave you a first look at an upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 1 that was covered in patent leather all over in a Deep Royal hue.

Now it turns out there is more than one colorway. Jordan Brand has also created an all-black pair as you can see in the image above. The entire upper on this Air Jordan 1 is covered in patent leather with the exception of the laces, inner liner, and tongue. Underneath the patent leather you can see there is also tumbled leather which gives a unique look to the shoe. If you look closely at the heel you’ll also notice that there’s some writing on it with only the letters “TY” being noticeable in this picture. What do you think is written on the heel?

With the Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles and Air Jordan 10 Chicago Flag set to release this weekend from the 2016 City Pack, today we take a look back at one of the most coveted colorway from the original city pack.

Back in 1995 Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 10 City Pack that highlighted the cities of New York, Chicago, Sacramento, Orlando, and Seattle. The pair designated for Sacramento was the only black pair out of the bunch and also the only pair that was never worn on the court. This Air Jordan 10 features a black leather upper with purple detailing on the inner liner and outsole.

Jordan Brand will be celebrating Michael Jordan’s 3rd NBA Championship with the release of yet another Championship Pack. Having seen the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7 celebrated in 2014 and 2015 respectively, we’ll now see the Air Jordan 8 get the “championship” treatment in 2016.

Featuring two distinct colorways of the Air Jordan 8, the first pair comes in white and is meant to resemble a championship trophy/champagne bottle. The main features of the white colorway include gold detailing on the straps and around the heel which comes with fingerprints on it. This most likely resembles Michael’s prints on the Larry O?Brien trophy. The second pair comes in black and is highlighted by confetti detailing around the heel and on the inner liner as well as an iridescent shimmer on the ankle/heel as well as gold accents. This is the confetti that falls from the rafters when the championship is won.

With this being a pack that celebrates Michael Jordan’s championship I expected more than a few minor details on the heel or inner liner. But with what we’ve seen with the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7 the last couple of years I wasn’t expecting too much from this pack anyway.

That’s what sneaker customizer JBF Customs has done with his latest creation. JBF took an Air Jordan 1 and covered the entire upper with a luxurious genuine pyhton material. The laces, inner liner, midsole, and outsole have all been left white as well to keep things tonal. JBF also added his customary Incomparable patch on the tongue so we all know who created this masterpiece.

A brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 is releasing this year, and this one is said to be inspired by the upcoming 2016 Olympics in Rio. Dubbed the Air Jordan 5 Olympic, let’s get a closer look at the shoe.

The Air Jordan 5 Olympic comes dressed in a predominantly White upper done in a leather construction. The White upper gets the “Olympic” theme by utilizing the Black and Gold accents placed throughout the shoe. The notable accents include the Metallic Gold tongue that’s meant to symbolize the Gold Medal given to the the cream of the crop during the Olympic games. Additional Gold is found on parts of the midsole, including the shark teeth. The Black accents take care of the Jumpman branding, eyelets, midsole and lining. Rounding out the main features of the shoe is the icy translucent outsole and the clear netting on the side panels. Currently slated for an August 13 release, you will be able to pick these up for $190.

The gold hits on the shoe are nice, I just wish there was more of them. Adding more gold in places such as the netting, eyelets and/or laces would definitely help give the shoe some more pop.

Not even 24 hours later, Sneakers Addict went ahead and created a concept pair of what they think the Air Jordan 6 could end up looking like.

Just like the Air Jordan 7 Hare, this concept look at the Air Jordan 6 Hare also utilizes a White/Off-White upper accented by the colorful hits consisting of an array of colors placed on the tongue, heel and sole region. The Air Jordan 10 City Pack continues to release this weekend with the pairs designated for Los Angeles and Chicago set to arrive at retailers.

Looking at at the Los Angeles colorway, we can see that the shoe is colored in a combination of Ocean Fog, Blue Lagoon and Midnight Navy. The upper is a mix of different shades of blue with a white midsole representing a timeless Los Angeles outfit ? white tees and denim. Up by the ankle we see a stitched “LA” sign while the outsole is done in White and Midnight Navy.

The more I see this colorway of the Air Jordan 10 the more I like it. I just don’t like the shade of blue that was used on the inner liner and on the LA sign. I’m kind of on the fence on whether or not I should pick up a pair.

In a little bit over two weeks, arguably the best colorway we’ve seen on any kind of Air Jordan 2 this year will finally release. Not much attention has been given to this upcoming retro release, but we’re pretty sure things are about to accelerate the closer we get to the release date. Today we get our latest look at the Air Jordan 2 Low Chicago.

The last time the shoe released was back in 1994. Due to the simple fact that the shoe comes in Chicago Bulls team colors, we already know its going to garner more interest than some of the Jordan 2s we’ve seen earlier this year. The low-top version of the Air Jordan 2 comes in a clean White upper, offset by the hits of Black and Red placed throughout the entire shoe. Wings branding is spotted on the tongue, while Nike branding can be seen on the insoles.A set of white laces and a tri-colored sole unit complete the uniform look of the shoe.
