New Colorways Of The Air Jordan 6 Will Release Next Year

If you’re a fan of the Air Jordan 6, last year was a good year for you with plenty of colorways to choose from. Even the Air Jordan 6 Maroon with Nike branding made an appearance. If you can’t get enough of the Jordan 6, next year will provide even more for you to choose from.
Reliable source @baltsneakershow recently tweeted out news that new colorways of the Air Jordan 6 will arrive in 2017. Some of the colorways include a shoe named the Air Jordan 6 Hornets and Air Jordan 6 Hare. Not much is known regarding what the shoes look like, but Dino did mention that the Hornets colorway will probably come with a Black iridescent upper sometime during the Spring of 2017. Keep it locked as more information of both upcoming Air Jordan 6 colorways begin to surface.

Another Major Jordan Restock Going Down At A Canadian Sneaker Store

Last April, Canadian sneaker store The Closet Inc. held a pretty impressive Jordan restock that included Taxi 12s, Champagne 6s, and much more. It looks like the Jordan restock love is spreading throughout the North because bbbranded of Windsor, Ontario is holding its own replenishment of sought-after stock. Included in their restock, which will go down on May 21st, is the Air Jordan 11 “Gift of Flight”, the Air Jordan 7 “Cigar and Champagne”, and much more. NBA 2K Kicks Retro: Remembering The Air Jordan 12 Flu Game

When I first booted up NBA 2K11 on my Xbox 360, I got the chills. For the first time since NBA Street Vol. 2 in the early 2000s, I was going to be able to play as Michael Jordan proper in a current video game, not “no-name white guy who wears #99 for the legendary Bulls teams.” 2K Sports had secured the rights to MJ to not only use him in the game, but to give him the proper tribute with a full-blown Jordan Challenge Mode that tasks you to recreate his finest moments.

The prize for playing the game along with winning these challenges? Unlockable Air Jordans. If only real life were as simple as video games, right?
As it turns out, the Jordan Challenges weren’t that easy. Some could be attained simply by spamming MJ and having him score every time down the court (like in The Arrival and The Double Nickel), but anytime the requirements had you doing more than just scoring – like trying to hold Dominique Wilkins to less than 25 points or grabbing 9 or more rebounds – it could become quite the hassle.
So which MJ performance ended up being a royal pain to recreate in a video game? The Flu Game, of course. The challenge? Score 38 points (doable), dish out 5 assists (not too hard), bring down 7 rebounds (dammit) and win the game (of course). Oh, and you have 8-minute quarters because 2K Sports wants to make it just a little bit harder on you with less time to get those numbers than even MJ did.
Along with The Father’s Day game (9+ rebounds, ugh), The Flu Game was one of the tougher challenges for me. But the end was worth it as we got to relive one of the most memorable sports moments ever. I mean, look at these guys who were more than happy to play second fiddle in a 2K commercial to digital MJ and his moments.
Later this month, the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game returns to stores (only for a few minutes because you know it’s selling out fast). One of the first times we got to see the Air Jordan 12 in a video game was in NBA 2K11 for the Jordan Challenge and as a longtime fan of the 12, it was a sight to see. The Air Jordan 10 GS Vivid Pink Is Releasing This Weekend

Alongside the Chicago Flag and Los Angeles iterations from the standout “City” pack, this latest GS variation of the Air Jordan 10 is also slated to make its arrival this weekend.
Featuring a pure platinum-colored leather upper and midsole unit, the slight pristine tone is offset by tonal black, which is prominent on the sole, tongue, laces, eyelets and along the collar. Additionally, the defining hue is evidenced on the inner lining and outsole to add vibrancy to its subdued build.
Other notable details include pull tabs for easy accessibility, embossed branding on the tongue in addition to a multi-colored branded patch behind the component. Furthermore, the distinctive Jumpman logo is embroidered across its heels and also found on the outsole in contrasting white.

I?m a fan of the silhouette overall. The colorway is pretty solid and versatile. It?s suitable for both males and females in my view, but unfortunately large sizing is pretty limited.

Jordan Brand surprised everyone when they removed the Swoosh on the Air Jordan 1 Low for three upcoming tonal colorways for Summer 2016. The premium Swoosh-less offerings are slated to arrive later this month and are turning heads thanks to a luxurious full-grain tumbled leather that focuses on quality instead of branding throughout. Available in black, olive green, and pink, each pair sees embossed Nike Air branding on the tongue while a subdued classic Wings logo lands on the heel in a matching shade. Following initial leaked images of the Air Jordan 1 Low with no Swoosh, an overview of the model’s three upcoming colorways — black, olive and pink — is now presented, courtesy of HighSnobiety.
As the title states, this particular rendition of the iconic silhouette has been revamped with a more lifestyle feel. Composed of full-grain tumbled leather, the recognizable check on the side panels are now absent to keep a minimalist aesthetic overall.
Further detailed with a soft lining that wraps the interior collar and tongue, other notable elements include branding embossed on the tongue, the ?Wings? logo on the heel and Jumpman engraved metal lace tips.

It looks more like a designer label sneaker. I?m all for simplicity and minimalism, but I?m really not that tempted yet in purchasing this style. The makeup looks solid though.
Sneakers In 4K Retro (Kinda): Nike Air Foamposite One Mirror
This past weekend we saw the release of the Air Jordan 10 Rio, the latest installment in the Air Jordan 10 City Pack. In a few days we’ll be seeing two more colorways from the City Pack hit retailers with one of them being the Chicago Flag pair that you see above.
Inspired by the city that Michael Jordan called home throughout most of his NBA career, this Air Jordan 10 borrows its color scheme from the colors that are seen on the flag of Chicago. The shoe features White throughout the majority of the upper with University Blue and Bright Crimson detailing on the tongue, laces, eyestay, ankle, outsole, the Jumpman branding on the heel and the ?CHI? writing by the ankle. Capping things off is a Black inner liner.

The only reason I would pick up this pair of 10s is if I were from the city of Chicago or lived there because the inspiration/theme looks to be on point. But since I don?t these are a pass for me.

Drake is on top of the world right now as his new Views album is selling like pancakes and his hometown Toronto Raptors are looking like they may advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
In order to celebrate his successful album release Jordan Brand decided to create a special Air Jordan 6. Dubbed the OVO x Air Jordan 6 Low Views/Hot 100s, this colorway of the Air Jordan 6 features an all-white leather upper with Infrared detailing on the Jumpman branding on the tongue and outsole and black accents on the heel tab and the VIEWS branding on the lacelock and outsole.
It’s very likely that Jordan Brand created this shoes specifically for Drake in order to celebrate the release of his new album, but we’ll keep you updated as far as a release date goes.
An all-white pair of Air Jordan 6 Lows was the best they could come up with? Maybe if these were mids they would look slightly better, but even then they’re just too plain.

City Gear is giving away a pair of Air Jordan 6 Lows through their social media accounts right now (it’s pretty obvious what the shoe is). Before even announcing a winner, the shop went ahead and says “if you show any sign of being a reseller on twitter you will not win”. Of course not all reselling is done on Twitter (there are several other ways to flip shoes), but good on City Gear to make sure the shoes lands on the feet of someone who would truly appreciate the kicks. The Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue That Releases On Black Friday Will Retail For $220

The Air Jordan 3 True Blue will be returning in 2016 with the beloved NIKE AIR branding on the heel that sneakerheads go absolutely crazy over. Expected to release on Black Friday, November 25th, how much will we have to spend at retail if we want a pair?
It turns out that this OG pair of Air Jordan 3s will retail for the same price as the Air Jordan 4 OG 89 White Cement that dropped during All Star Weekend. That means it’ll cost us $220 to add a pair to our collection, plus tax depending on where you live. So far every shoe that has released with NIKE AIR branding on the heel since 2015 has been priced at $220. GS will be $160, PS $80 and TD $60.

Jordan Brand and Nike have really embraced the Superstar from the OKC Thunder as he’s been the NBA players most known for wearing Jordan Brand’s newest signature sneaker for the last couple of years and he’s even gotten his own lifestyle shoe with the Jordan Westbrook 0. We can now add apparel to his collection as two new t-shirts have released as a part of the Russel Westbrook x Jordan Brand Collection. The first has the popular “Why Not?” slogan that Westbrook is known for and the second features Russel’s RW logo.

Jordan Brand Rookie Athlete Jalen Ramsey Didnt Get Any Retros

The perks of being the #5 draft pick and brand-new Jordan Brand athlete are already beginning to roll in for rookie Jalen Ramsey. The future superstar received his very first shipment of Jordan sneakers today at the Jaguars facilities, with a large stack of boxes any of us would love to see delivered to our own houses. But wait a minute, is that actually true? As you can see Jordan Brand didn’t bless Jalen with any retros, as these are all pairs of the Flow and Flight Flex Trainer 2 training shoes. Not that there’s anything wrong with either of those two performance trainers, but we’re guessing just about anybody would also like to see some of the year’s hottest retros in the stacks, as well. Is young Jalen getting the rookie treatment from JB, or will his retros be coming soon? We expect that he’ll get all the retros he could ever want eventually, not to mention some on-field Jordan models of note this upcoming season.
