Release Reminder: Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles
By SoleInsider
Alongside the Chicago Flag, this Los Angeles iteration of the Air Jordan 10 from JB’s standout S/S 2016 ?City? pack is scheduled to make its arrival this weekend.
Constructed of textured and smooth leather throughout its upper, the component is shaded in dark blue, while tonal accents are implemented on the tongue, laces and eyelets. A lighter blue tone is utilized for the inner lining to emit more vibrance, while it all rests atop a crisp white sole unit.
Additional dark blue accents are seen on the outsole as well, alongside an embroidery of ?LA? on the collar section to perfectly cap off the theme. Other notable details include striped pull tabs in its respective colorway, as well as more branding on the tongue and outsole.
Retailing for $190, you can purchase a pair at select JB and Nike accounts this Saturday, May 14.
Favorite our official Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles launch page now for more details, images and release info.
I?m a fan of the silhouette overall, but I?m not too keen on this pair. I think the colorway is solid and versatile, but I?m not too inclined on purchasing.
This New Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue Has A Familiar Look To It
The next ‘Pinnacle’ release of the Air Jordan 4 is coming in one week, so at a price of $400, it’s definitely time to start reserving some extra cash if you want a pair. Today we get an official look from Nike of the pricey Jordans, which garner that price tag thanks to the luxurious construction in premium snakeskin and leather with brushed metal detailing on the lace eyelets and heel tabs. For your four bills, they’re also nice enough to throw in you choice of regular or leather shoe laces, along with a dust bag and metal Jumpman hang tag. Enjoy a detailed look at the Air Jordan 4 Pinnacle along with its included accessories here, and keep in mind that they launch next Saturday, May 21st.
It’s been known for a while now that the all-new Air Jordan 10 City Pack would be including a colorway for London, but no images of the shoe were revealed. That all changes now, as we get our first look at the special colorway for London, right before the LA and Chicago versions arrive tomorrow. With what may become considered the best look of the whole pack, the London edition features its full-grain leather upper in two tones of grey, one light and one dark with a crackled treatment, which seem to reference the often foggy weather of the capital city of England. Hits of gold are found on the “LDN” and Jumpman logo embroidery to complete the striking colorway. Enjoy your first look at the shoe compliments of Hypebeast, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for a confirmed release date of the “London” Air Jordan 10. (Rumored release date is June 18th.)
Buy, Pass, Wait: Under Armour Curry Two MVP Pack, Air Jordan 10 Chicago Flag, Reebok Question Practice
By SoleInsider
The week’s big releases actually got off to a very early start as Under Armour announced that they would be taking preorders for the Curry Back To Back MVP Pack that celebrates Steph Curry’s second consecutive MVP nod. Of course, those preorders lasted about as long as a hyped pair of retros and quickly dried up. We asked the KoF Staff if they would be picking up the pack when it drops in June or if they got a chance to preorder at all along with the rest of the weekend’s big releases including two Jordan retros from the City Series, the latest Kyrie 2 and Reebok Question colorways and much more.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (BUY) I like the Curry One MVP so I can pair it up with my other Curry One MVP and as I’ve noted before, I’m a sucker for black, white and gold kicks. But I’m lukewarm on the Curry Two MVP since it seems like the upper is more yellow than gold. We’ll see in a month or so I guess…
Renz Ofiaza, News: (BUY) It’s a really nice set and tribute overall. I’m biased towards the Curry Two. I like the execution of the colorway. This is probably the first Curry Two that I’m looking forward to purchasing
Juan Carrillo, News: (BUY) History in the making. Curry will probably go down as one of the best players of all time. If you’re a fan of the player/shoe, this one should have been a no-brainer. Dope pack, I’m just curious as to why UA didn’t release to versions of the Curry Two.
Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) I’m only a fan of the Curry Two from this pack, but I’m not willing to pay $400 for both. If only Under Armour released them individually. Oh well. Congrats to Steph though.
EIC Juan: (WAIT) Air Jordan 10s are either too plain for more or so completely out there that they’re damn near unwearable for me. However, these strike that a balance so I can easily myself copping these and not just because of the Los Angeles shout-out, although it helps. But I don’t expect this sell out quickly so I can easily wait for a price drop before I cop.
Renz: (PASS) I’m a fan of the silhouette’s design. The colorway is pretty solid and versatile as well, but I’m not really inclined on purchasing this pair.
News Juan: (PASS) Having been born in Los Angeles, I really wanted to like the shoe, but nothing really stands out on the shoe in my opinion. I feel like Jordan Brand dropped the ball on this pair. It had so much potential, and it fell so short.
Andres: (PASS) The more I see this shoe the more I like it. I just feel that it could have been so much better. There was potential but Jordan Brand came up short.
EIC Juan: (PASS) Why I do get a feeling that these would a hundred times better if the red and blue switched up and was a better representation of the Chicago Flag?
Renz: (PASS) If it was the original Chicago version instead, I would consider purchasing. The theme was well done but I like it more minus the blue accents.
News Juan: (PASS) I really don’t like Air Jordan 10s to begin with. They have to be really dope for me to want a pair. Once again, nothing on this pair makes me want to jump out of my seat. I see these sitting on shelves if they don’t release in limited numbers.
Andres: (PASS) In my opinion the ugliest colorway out of the entire pack. I’m sure people from Chicago may like it but these are just not for me.
Renz: (BUY) I’m just biased towards this silhouette. This colorway is pretty sought after. Even though it’s not the original version, the grey tongue isn’t a bad look either.
News Juan: (BUY) I will be up at 7am looking to pick up a pair. I’m remaining hopeful, but let’s be realistic, everyone and their mom will be looking to pick up a pair. Good luck!
Andres: (BUY) I’m hoping and praying for a miracle that I can get my hands on these. I already missed out on the last two, so third time’s a charm right?
Reebok Question Practice
Reebok
EIC Juan: (PASS) The red contrast makes the shoe a lot less classier than it should be. Then again, the whole reason “Practice” became such a thing was because it was anything but classy. It was a very real moment that if anybody else had said it would be tantamount to career suicide, but because it’s Allen Iverson, we let it slide because AI’s awesome.
Renz: (BUY) The theme for this pair will always be remembered. I can’t forget it. The execution on this pair is pretty solid and I’m a fan of the model.
News Juan: (PASS) Not really a colorway I’m diggin. The inspiration/theme is pretty far-fetched in my opinion. Reebok is reaching on this one.
Andres: (PASS) I like the story behind the shoe but I’m just not feeling the baseball look that was given to this Reebok Question. The story and the look just don’t really mesh well together. Still love that interview though. “We talkin’ bout practice?” Haha.
Nike Kyrie 2 Crossover
Nike
EIC Juan: (PASS) I still need a pair of Kyrie 2s to buy, but this won’t be it. Also, I’m starting to see the Complex offices get the special package of the Ky-rispy Kreme pair and I’m eagerly hoping somebody at FedEx or UPS is swinging by the KoF office today.
Renz: (PASS) The colorway is pretty nice. I like how the upper is clean and the focal point is directed at the mid-foot strap. Not for me, but I’m sure fans will appreciate it.
News Juan: (PASS) I consider myself a fan of the model, just not in this colorway. I’d like to own a pair of Kyrie 2s, but I’d rather pick up a better colorway that has already released.
Andres: (PASS) Decent colorway of the Kyrie 2 but not my favorite. The graphic on the heel doesn’t really make me think of a “crossover.” Could have been a lot better.
The Air Jordan 2 Low is returning to retailers in true OG “Chicago” form in the near future. Jordan Brand’s Remastering process has a certain affinity for low tops this year, perhaps due to the fact that the numerous silhouettes have yet to see true and through OG retros in quite some time. The Air Jordan 2 Low “Chicago” boasts a similar colorway to the original construction as a premium white leather utilizes a reptilian texture on the overlay complete with University Red piping and a contrasting black midsole and lining. Be on the lookout for this Jordan 2 Low to drop at retailers on May 21st for $160 USD and head to our Jordan release dates page for more of the latest Jumpman updates.

The Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles Pays Homage To The City Of Angels (Video)
By SoleInsider
Be honest, when you first heard about the Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles as part of the new Air Jordan 10 City Series, you probably thought it was going to be a tribute to either the Los Angeles Lakers or maybe even the Los Angeles Dodgers. But Jordan Brand decided to take a more city-centric approach and use the unique style of the land from the cool blue look of the skyline to the beaches that surround it. As the KoF Offices are now housed mostly in Southern California, we might be a little biased when we say this might be the best City Series release yet.
For more information about this upcoming release, be sure to bookmark our Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles launch page which will have all the breaking news, images, videos and places to buy on release day.

Get A First Look At The Air Jordan 12 GS Hyper Violet
By SoleInsider
As if there wasn’t enough colorways of the Air Jordan 12 releasing this year already, we can now add another GS pair to the lineup.
This latest colorway of the Air Jordan 12 will be releasing with the ladies in mind and features black on the majority of the upper in what looks to be a combination of suede/nubuck and leather. Contrasting hits of Hyper Violet than land on the inner liner, Jordan branding, the heel and the outsole. The upper eyelets have been done in gold to add another pop of color to this Air Jordan 12.
Peep the first look at this Hyper Violet colorway and mark your calendars for a June 4, 2016 release date. Retail price will be $140.
If the men went crazy over the pink pair that released earlier this year I expect the same with this purple colorway. I actually like this pair too. Since I’m a Raptors fan I like the hits of purple on this pair, I just wish the purple was a bit darker.

How Many Ladies Plan On Picking Up The Air Jordan 10 GS Vivid Pink This Weekend
By SoleInsider
This weekend we’ll be seeing the release of three different colorways of the Air Jordan 10. Two more pairs will be releasing from the on-going city pack and there will also be an exclusive colorway for the ladies.
If the Heiress colorway that released last week wasn’t “girly” enough for you, hopefully this new Vivid Pink pair will do the trick. This Air Jordan 10 comes with a White leather on the majority of the upper with Black detailing on the tongue, laces, eyestay, ankle, and outsole. The pops of vibrant Vivid Pink land on the inner liner, and on the outsole making these a great colorway for all the #ChicksOnFire.
Releasing on Saturday, May 14th, any ladies out there plan on picking up a pair? Don’t forget to visit out Air Jordan 10 GS Vivid Pink launch page to stay updated with the latest images, news, and release information.
The Sacremento Kings were a once proud franchise, but recent dysfunction has the team frequenting the bottom of the NBA standings on a season by season basis. Perhaps a new arena, new uniforms, new coach, and this Air Jordan 12 colorway will cheer up the Sactown hopeful in the near future, though. This preview of the kids pair features a simple black base, vibrant purple accents on the lining and outsole, while premium Metallic Gold accents land on the lace eyelets for a luxurious touch. It looks like this pair will be a grade school exclusive and will release at nationwide retailers on June 4th for $140 USD. Stay tuned for more Jordan release date updates right here on Sneaker News.
Now it turns out there is more than one colorway. Jordan Brand has also created an all-black pair as you can see in the image above. The entire upper on this Air Jordan 1 is covered in patent leather with the exception of the laces, inner liner, and tongue. Underneath the patent leather you can see there is also tumbled leather which gives a unique look to the shoe. If you look closely at the heel you’ll also notice that there’s some writing on it with only the letters “TY” being noticeable in this picture. What do you think is written on the heel?
Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more updates on the potential release.
Judging off this picture alone I don’t see anything special about this Air Jordan 1. However I have a feeling that they may look better in person. I look forward to seeing more pictures.

Throwback Thursday: A Look Back At The Air Jordan 10 Sacramento From The OG City Pack
By SoleInsider
With the Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles and Air Jordan 10 Chicago Flag set to release this weekend from the 2016 City Pack, today we take a look back at one of the most coveted colorway from the original city pack.
Back in 1995 Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 10 City Pack that highlighted the cities of New York, Chicago, Sacramento, Orlando, and Seattle. The pair designated for Sacramento was the only black pair out of the bunch and also the only pair that was never worn on the court. This Air Jordan 10 features a black leather upper with purple detailing on the inner liner and outsole.
Take a look at these detailed images of the Sacramento pair and let us know which is your favorite out of the entire collection. Would you like to see this OG pack make a return in the future?
Another Look At The Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack
By SoleInsider
Jordan Brand will be celebrating Michael Jordan’s 3rd NBA Championship with the release of yet another Championship Pack. Having seen the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7 celebrated in 2014 and 2015 respectively, we’ll now see the Air Jordan 8 get the “championship” treatment in 2016.
Featuring two distinct colorways of the Air Jordan 8, the first pair comes in white and is meant to resemble a championship trophy/champagne bottle. The main features of the white colorway include gold detailing on the straps and around the heel which comes with fingerprints on it. This most likely resembles Michael’s prints on the Larry O?Brien trophy. The second pair comes in black and is highlighted by confetti detailing around the heel and on the inner liner as well as an iridescent shimmer on the ankle/heel as well as gold accents. This is the confetti that falls from the rafters when the championship is won.
The Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack is scheduled to release on June 25th for a retail price of $250 each. Will you be picking up either pair from this pack? Make sure to bookmark our Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack launch page to get the latest updates on this upcoming release.
With this being a pack that celebrates Michael Jordan’s championship I expected more than a few minor details on the heel or inner liner. But with what we’ve seen with the Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 7 the last couple of years I wasn’t expecting too much from this pack anyway.
