This weekend we’ll be seeing the debut of three tonal colorways of a brand new Air Jordan 1. First spotted earlier this month, this new Air Jordan 1 is highlighted by the absence of the Swoosh branding.

Where we usually see the Nike Swoosh running across the side panels of the Air Jordan 1, these particular pairs completely remove the Swoosh. In addition to removing the Swoosh, we also see a premium leather upper used on this sneaker that would make a great “every day shoe” for the Summer thanks to the tonal and simplistic look. Releasing in Trooper (olive), Black, and Arctic Orange (pink) colorways, all three pairs hit select Jordan Brand retailers on May 21st for a retail price of $150. Will you be going after a pair?

The materials on these pair of 1s look as good as Shattered Backboard quality (or better), but it’s just not an Air Jordan 1 without a Swoosh to me. It looks more of like a designer shoe. I’ll pass on these.

You’ve had more than enough time to think about it. The Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin release is less than a week away. Which leads to my next question: Are you ready to drop $400 on this latest premium version of the Air Jordan 4?

You can do a lot with $400, and unfortunately it’s now not out of the ordinary to drop that much money on a pair of retros. You’ve already seen plenty of images of the shoe to know that this premium iteration comes with a full faux snakeskin upper done up in white, pure platinum and wolf grey colorway. Accenting the reptilian look of the shoe are the light bone premium tumbled leather placed on the overlays, wings and tongue. Even more leather is seen on the lining, while the copper metal hits placed on the eyelets and heel add another premium dimension to the shoe. Is this a cop or not? I like premium and luxury looking sneakers, but these appear to be doing too much. $400 is a tough pill to swallow especially on a sneaker that has ?faux snakeskin leather? opposed to real snakeskin leather.

The last thing we heard regarding Marcus Jordan’s upcoming Trophy Room sneaker store was that it would be opening its doors on May 23rd.

We have just found out that there will be a very special sneaker releasing exclusively at Trophy Room on the grand opening of the shop. Trophy Room has collaborated with Jordan Brand to release a special colorway of the Air Jordan 23. The Air Jordan 23 Trophy Room features a white and gold upper with intricate details. There will only be 523 pairs available (each one will be numbered) and they’ll retail for $275. In addition to releasing this exclusive Air Jordan 23, there will also be a handful of Air Jordans restocking at the grand opening of Trophy Room such as the Air Jordan 12 Wings, Just Don x Air Jordan 2, and much more.
