A Detailed Look At The Air Jordan 6 GS Cool Grey

Usually presented in colorful combinations for the kids, the grade school Air Jordan 6 goes neutral with this toned-down look in Cool Grey and Black. A new take on the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan colorway, this 6 for the kids features a bit more of a mature look than most other kids’retro colorways, with the two-toned upper finished off with the usual clear portions of the outsole. The young Air Jordan fans can look forward to these hitting retail on May 21st. Or grab a pair early on eBay.

Air Jordan 1 Bred / Banned

Release Date: September 3 2016
Price: $160

The Air Jordan 1 Banned is making a comeback in 2016. Aside from sporting the dope and beloved black and red motif, the theme behind the shoe is just as amazing. One look at the shoe and it appears to be an Air Jordan 1 in the Bred colorway, it’s only when you take a look at the heel of the shoe that you will find the major difference between the two.

The Air Jordan 1 comes in the timeless black and red leather upper. This banned edition of the Air Jordan 1 references to the time ex-NBA commissioner, David Stern, forbid Jordan from wearing the sneakers due to the bold palette the high-tops came in. The major feature on shoe the lies in the ‘X’ branding found on the heel to represent the ‘banned theme of the shoe. There is also a famous quote from the JB commercial found on the insole of the shoes as well as the date that the sneakers were banned placed on the lining of the shoes.

Another Look At The Jordan Flow Black / Cement Trainer

JORDAN FLOW 1 JORDAN FLOW 3 JORDAN FLOW 4 JORDAN FLOW2

In need of a new training shoe with a bit of retro appeal? Look no more as the Jordan Flow Trainer in the Black / Cement colorway just dropped.

The cross-trainer draws obvious inspiration from the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement, as the upper comes in a black base nicely contrasted by the Elephant print on the lateral forefoot and the Gym Red placed on the Jumpman branding and lining of the tongue. White takes care of the majority of the midsole to complete the Air Jordan 3 inspiration. The retro-inspired trainer is now up for grabs at select retailers for $125.

Author’s Take

I tend to stay away from Jordan Brand Cross Trainers, but the retro-inspired look on this pair caught my attention. I’d like to see they feel and look on feet, but for $125, they’re not too bad.

An Official Look At The Jordan Horizon Midnight Navy

JORDAN HORIZON 1 JORDAN HORIZON 2 JORDAN HORIZON 3 JORDAN HORIZON 4 JORDAN HORIZON 5 JORDAN HORIZON 6

Fans of the Jordan Horizon will be happy to hear that more colorways of the lifestyle model are on the way. One colorway you can expect to see at the end of the month is the Jordan Horizon Midnight Navy.

Coming in a Midnight Navy mesh upper, the tonal look of the shoe is offset by the Pure Platinum hits seen on the threading of the mesh. Below you will find an Air Jordan 13 sole unit in which the midsole comes in white and the outsole comes in Midnight Navy to balance out the aesthetics of the shoe. Jordan branding is spotted on the tongue tag and outsole. Slated for an end of the month release, let us know if you plan on scooping up a pair.

Author’s Take

I have this same colorway on the Jordan Future. Picking up this one would really not make any sense since both models are very similar.

The Air Jordan 31 Is Set to Drop This September!

AIR JORDAN XXX1 1

According to reliable source, @baltsneakershow, the Air Jordan 31 (XXX1) could release way sooner than you think. How soon? September 3rd, 2016! Let me put it this way. The Air Jordan 30 just released this past February, and now Jordan Brand has plans of releasing the next signature sneaker only 7 months later! Typically, it take closet o a year or more for next Jordan signature to drop, that’t not the case this time around.

NO official word, images have been provided, the shoe hasn’t even bee leaked, but all signs point to the shoe releasing later on this year. Above, you will see a product sheet provided by @baltsneakershow. The sheet shows the Air Jordan 31 releasing in a black and red colorway as well as in a “Fine Print” version. Aside from being available in adult sizes, the shoe will also be available in GS sizing. Keep it locked as more information on the shoe will soon begin to surface.

Is The Air Jordan 31 Releasing In September

The Air Jordan XXX is shining on the big Playoff stage right now as Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard, the brand’s key athletes, are facing off while wearing some dope PE colorways of the shoes. After the initial launch back in January, the Air Jordan XXX has been picking up steam, with many regarding it as one of the better post-retirement Jays to have been produced. However, it appears that the life-span of the Jordan 30 will last just eight months, because this leaked product sheet by Baltsneakershow shows two different colorways of the yet-to-be-seen Air Jordan XXX1, or Air Jordan 31, releasing on September 3rd. It’s interesting to see that the the Air Jordan XXX1 is debuting so quickly. Stay tuned for more details.

Jordan Horizons Releasing In Navy Blue Mesh

Jordan Brand’s lifestyle inclinations continue to be pushed with a number of off-court styles. At the helm of this reinvigorated thought process is the Jordan Horizon, a shoe in a similar breath as the widely popular Jordan Future, just with the Air Jordan 13’s six rings outsole. We’ve seen a number of different upper constructions on this silhouette and now a traditional breathable mesh returns just in time for the summer months ahead. An understated Midnight Navy base sees Pure Platinum threads contrast adding some diversity throughout while a matching outsole keeps things simple. No word yet on a release date, but this Jordan Horizon should land at retailers by month’s end. More detailed images below.

#GoldOut: Check Out The Bold Look On This Air Jordan 11 Ace Of Spades Customs

AIR JORDAN 11 ACE OF SPADES 1 AIR JORDAN 11 ACE OF SPADES 2 AIR JORDAN 11 ACE OF SPADES 3 AIR JORDAN 11 ACE OF SPADES 4 AIR JORDAN 11 ACE OF SPADES 5

How do you think an Air Jordan 11 in a gold colorway would sell if it ever released to the public? Odds are, it would sell out in an instant. If you’ve ever wondered what the shoe would look like if it ever came to fruition, take a look at this custom done by HaveAir Customs.

Dubbed the Ace of Spades, the Air Jordan 11 is said to be inspired by the famous champagne all your favorite rappers pop bottles with. The print normally found on the Ace of Spades champagne is placed on the gold patent leather and heel area of the shoe. The rest of the shoe also comes in gold to complete the tonal motif. Judging by the sole of the shoe, it appears as if the shoe was originally a pair of Legend Blues. Lastly, a white pair of laces with hits of gold complete the appearance of the upper. Thoughts on the custom? Let us know in the comments below.

AIR JORDAN 1 LOW 1 AIR JORDAN 1 LOW 2 AIR JORDAN 1 LOW 3 AIR JORDAN 1 LOW 4

Yesterday we gave you a first look at a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low that featured a premium black leather upper and a white sole unit. What was different about this Air Jordan 1 was the fact that there was no Nike Swoosh branding, a first for this model.

Now we have new images of the shoe to show you that give us a better look at the premium leather upper as well as the embossed Nike Air branding on the tongue and waxed flat laces. The Nike Air branding on the insoles is white to match the off-white sole. One of the images above is of the box which shows us that the shoe will retail for $150.

What are your thoughts on this Air Jordan 1? Are you a fan of the premium upper ad Swoosh-less look? Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for release updates.

Author’s Take

After taking a look at these images of the shoe I’ve decided that I don’t like them. You can’t take off the one thing from the Air Jordan 1 that makes it so iconic and legendary, the Swoosh. I expect these to sit on shelves.

Another Air Jordan 1 High Nouveau With Faux Snakeskin

AIR JORDAN 1 1 AIR JORDAN 1 2 AIR JORDAN 1 3 AIR JORDAN 1 4 AIR JORDAN 1 5 AIR JORDAN 1 6 AIR JORDAN 1 7 AIR JORDAN 1 8

Remember the snakeskin Air Jordan 1 that dropped earlier this year which featured a black upper with red accents on the inner liner and outsole? We have good news if you liked that pair because Jordan Brand has more where that came from.

This new snake-scaled colorway also takes the tonal approach on the upper but this time in Midnight Navy. Contrasting hits of White and Pure Platinum land on the inner liner, sole, and on the Jumpman and Wings branding on the tongue and ankle respectively. The Swoosh branding on the upper is composed of mesh instead of faux snakeskin leather in order to make it stand out a bit.

Expected to arrive at stateside retailers in the near future, do you plan on scooping up this luxurious Air Jordan 1 High Nouveau?

via: eBay

Author’s Take

I really like the snakeskin textured leather on the upper. It reminds me a lot of the Pinnacle releases from last year that were way out of my budget. I just may have to pick up this pair.

Jordan Brand Brings Black Black/Cement On The Flow Trainer Shoe

If you’re thirsting for a release of the Black/Cement Air Jordan 3, this may be the closest thing you’ll get any time soon. One of Jordan Brand’s newest cross-training models, the Flow Trainer, arrives in this familiar color scheme featuring a black upper with red, grey, white accents, and of course, elephant print paneling as an obvious reference to the beloved look of the third Air Jordan. Will these satisfy your craving for the Air Jordan 3? Probably not, but if you’re in the market for a new training shoe, give these a look. The Jordan Flow Trainer is arriving now at select sneaker shops like Rise.

The Air Jordan 10 City Pack Will Feature London

Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 10 City Pack ditched the traditional mid-1990s retro look – one that featured a number of colorways based on NBA teams tailor made for the players that would be wearing the shoe while Mike was busy playing baseball. Instead, this year’s City Collection took inspiration from the lifestyle motifs of major fashion capitals from New York City, Paris, and even Chicago. Today we get word that London will be included in the mix with their very own Air Jordan 10 release. There’s no word yet on what the pair will actually look like other than the brief colorway information of Pure Platinum, Metallic Gold, and Dark Grey throughout and we don’t know if it will be a European exclusive like the Air Jordan 10 “Paris” was. We’ll keep you updated on the Air Jordan 10 “London” in the near future and be on the lookout for this pair to land at international retailers on June 18th.
