Air Jordan 1 Low Goes Swooshless In Pink

Jordan Brand’s move to go super minimalist and ditch the Swoosh on the Air Jordan 1 Low definitely took the sneaker world by surprise, but the signs leading up to the decision were all there. The Air Jordan 1 has been a blank canvas of sorts for the brand’s newfound lifestyle sensibilities. We’ve seen simple monochromatic color selections in the “Black Friday” release, a David Letterman reference featuring Metallic accents, and a luxurious Pinnacle mock-up with real 24K gold. By skipping over the Nike branding throughout, Jordan Brand moves the focus to the silhouette itself, as a premium tumbled leather shines in a pastel pink shade. A luxurious metallic gold even lands on the lace tips for added depth. Check out a full view below and be on the lookout for these Swooshless Air Jordan 1s to release by month’s end.

Another Colorway Of The Swooshless Air Jordan 1 Low

Air Jordan 1 2 Air Jordan 1

Recently we showcased the first Swooshless Air Jordan 1 Low in a classic colorway of black and white.

Now, a fellow JB employee has published another rendition of the revised silhouette via social media and reveals that an “Arctic Orange” edition will be offered to the public as well. Composed of a premium textured leather upper with tonal laces, stitching and a clean white rubber sole unit, the model is essentially cleaner with the absence of the iconic check gracing its side panels.

While a release date has not been officially announced yet, sources suggest it should debut at the end of this month for $150.

Stay tuned in to KicksOnFire for additional details.

It looks more like a designer label sneaker. I’m all for simplicity and minimalism, but I’m really not that interested in purchasing this style.

The Air Jordan 12 Flu Game Returns To Stores Later This month

Michael Jordan’s “Flu Game” in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals is often regarded as one of MJ’s best performances in the history of the Playoffs. For the youngsters who aren’t familiar with that game, but are still planning to cop this Jordan Retro release, you might be well suited to hit YouTube and enjoy some clips from that legendary outing. While wearing this black/red Air Jordan 12, MJ scored 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block while stricken with the flu (hence the name, the Flu Game 12s). You have a few weeks until these officially hit stores, so get familiar with the game and the shoes with a video clip and photo gallery below.

The Air Jordan 12 Flu Game (2016) Drops Later This Month

Air Jordan 12 Air Jordan 12 1 Air Jordan 12 2 Air Jordan 12 3 Air Jordan 12 4

Another popular variation of the Air Jordan 12 is scheduled to debut at the end of May, as this particular pair garnered its fame during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz, while MJ was playing with flu-like symptoms.

Last reintroduced back in 2009, this forthcoming edition of the sneaker is essentially a remastered variation of its OG profile from 1997. Flaunting a premium tumbled leather composition, tonal black dominates the majority of the upper, inner lining, tongue and laces, while red converges along the forefoot, throughout the sole, rear portion and accenting the tongue as well.

Priced at $190, you can expect to find this standout pair at select Nike and JB accounts on Saturday, May 28th.

Air Jordan 1 Bred / Banned

Release Date: September 3 2016
Price: $160

The Air Jordan 1 Banned is making a comeback in 2016. Aside from sporting the dope and beloved black and red motif, the theme behind the shoe is just as amazing. One look at the shoe and it appears to be an Air Jordan 1 in the Bred colorway, it’s only when you take a look at the heel of the shoe that you will find the major difference between the two.

The Air Jordan 1 comes in the timeless black and red leather upper. This banned edition of the Air Jordan 1 references to the time ex-NBA commissioner, David Stern, forbid Jordan from wearing the sneakers due to the bold palette the high-tops came in. The major feature on shoe the lies in the ‘X’ branding found on the heel to represent the ‘banned theme of the shoe. There is also a famous quote from the JB commercial found on the insole of the shoes as well as the date that the sneakers were banned placed on the lining of the shoes.

Another Look At The Jordan Flow Black / Cement Trainer

JORDAN FLOW 1 JORDAN FLOW 3 JORDAN FLOW 4 JORDAN FLOW2

In need of a new training shoe with a bit of retro appeal? Look no more as the Jordan Flow Trainer in the Black / Cement colorway just dropped.

The cross-trainer draws obvious inspiration from the Air Jordan 3 Black Cement, as the upper comes in a black base nicely contrasted by the Elephant print on the lateral forefoot and the Gym Red placed on the Jumpman branding and lining of the tongue. White takes care of the majority of the midsole to complete the Air Jordan 3 inspiration. The retro-inspired trainer is now up for grabs at select retailers for $125.

Author’s Take

I tend to stay away from Jordan Brand Cross Trainers, but the retro-inspired look on this pair caught my attention. I’d like to see they feel and look on feet, but for $125, they’re not too bad.

An Official Look At The Jordan Horizon Midnight Navy

JORDAN HORIZON 1 JORDAN HORIZON 2 JORDAN HORIZON 3 JORDAN HORIZON 4 JORDAN HORIZON 5 JORDAN HORIZON 6

Fans of the Jordan Horizon will be happy to hear that more colorways of the lifestyle model are on the way. One colorway you can expect to see at the end of the month is the Jordan Horizon Midnight Navy.

Coming in a Midnight Navy mesh upper, the tonal look of the shoe is offset by the Pure Platinum hits seen on the threading of the mesh. Below you will find an Air Jordan 13 sole unit in which the midsole comes in white and the outsole comes in Midnight Navy to balance out the aesthetics of the shoe. Jordan branding is spotted on the tongue tag and outsole. Slated for an end of the month release, let us know if you plan on scooping up a pair.

Author’s Take

I have this same colorway on the Jordan Future. Picking up this one would really not make any sense since both models are very similar.

AIR JORDAN XXX1 1

According to reliable source, @baltsneakershow, the Air Jordan 31 (XXX1) could release way sooner than you think. How soon? September 3rd, 2016! Let me put it this way. The Air Jordan 30 just released this past February, and now Jordan Brand has plans of releasing the next signature sneaker only 7 months later! Typically, it take closet o a year or more for next Jordan signature to drop, that’t not the case this time around.

NO official word, images have been provided, the shoe hasn’t even bee leaked, but all signs point to the shoe releasing later on this year. Above, you will see a product sheet provided by @baltsneakershow. The sheet shows the Air Jordan 31 releasing in a black and red colorway as well as in a “Fine Print” version. Aside from being available in adult sizes, the shoe will also be available in GS sizing. Keep it locked as more information on the shoe will soon begin to surface.

Is The Air Jordan 31 Releasing In September

The Air Jordan XXX is shining on the big Playoff stage right now as Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard, the brand’s key athletes, are facing off while wearing some dope PE colorways of the shoes. After the initial launch back in January, the Air Jordan XXX has been picking up steam, with many regarding it as one of the better post-retirement Jays to have been produced. However, it appears that the life-span of the Jordan 30 will last just eight months, because this leaked product sheet by Baltsneakershow shows two different colorways of the yet-to-be-seen Air Jordan XXX1, or Air Jordan 31, releasing on September 3rd. It’s interesting to see that the the Air Jordan XXX1 is debuting so quickly. Stay tuned for more details.

Jordan Horizons Releasing In Navy Blue Mesh

Jordan Brand’s lifestyle inclinations continue to be pushed with a number of off-court styles. At the helm of this reinvigorated thought process is the Jordan Horizon, a shoe in a similar breath as the widely popular Jordan Future, just with the Air Jordan 13’s six rings outsole. We’ve seen a number of different upper constructions on this silhouette and now a traditional breathable mesh returns just in time for the summer months ahead. An understated Midnight Navy base sees Pure Platinum threads contrast adding some diversity throughout while a matching outsole keeps things simple. No word yet on a release date, but this Jordan Horizon should land at retailers by month’s end. More detailed images below.

#GoldOut: Check Out The Bold Look On This Air Jordan 11 Ace Of Spades Customs

How do you think an Air Jordan 11 in a gold colorway would sell if it ever released to the public? Odds are, it would sell out in an instant. If you’ve ever wondered what the shoe would look like if it ever came to fruition, take a look at this custom done by HaveAir Customs.

Dubbed the Ace of Spades, the Air Jordan 11 is said to be inspired by the famous champagne all your favorite rappers pop bottles with. The print normally found on the Ace of Spades champagne is placed on the gold patent leather and heel area of the shoe. The rest of the shoe also comes in gold to complete the tonal motif. Judging by the sole of the shoe, it appears as if the shoe was originally a pair of Legend Blues. Lastly, a white pair of laces with hits of gold complete the appearance of the upper. Thoughts on the custom? Let us know in the comments below.
