Aside from being reminiscent of the OVO collab, I?m all for tonal looks and this pair is certainly versatile and perfect for everyday wear. I?m a New Yorker too, so yeah, I?m biased.

With this year marking a celebration of the Air Jordan 12, another colorway of the classic silhouette will be offered this summer 2016.

Sporting a simplistic palette overall, wolf grey dominates the majority of its leather upper, tongue and laces, while pristine white converges along its forefoot and midsole unit. Pops of blue are applied on the rear, lining of its pull tabs and miniature branded side panels to nicely complement the theme, as metallic silver eyelets offer a subtle shimmering finish.

You can expect to find this pair at select JB and Nike accounts on June 25th for a retail price tag of $190.

Head over to our official Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue launch page now for additional coverage and release information.

Author’s Take

I like the simplicity of the silhouette?s profile. In this colorway, it?s solid, but I would have preferred it more without the touches of Blue. It?ll still sell well though.

I really like this pair in varsity red only, but this pair is alright. The color combo is great and it should still garner some attention.

New Release Info For The Air Jordan 8 Cigar And Champagne Surfaces

Michael Jordan’s 6 Championship rings serve as a constant reminder for those current players trying to usurp his label as the greatest basketball player of all time. Not even Kobe Bryant could tie the tally or awe that came with a signature sneaker release, but Nike Basketball’s Kobe imprint tried its hardest to replicate some of the success found in no.23’s lineage. Jordan Brand continues to pay homage to Mike’s on-court success with the Air Jordan 8 Champagne and Air Jordan 8 Cigar releases headed to retailers on June 25th for $250 each. The premium pairs utilize different premium accents from gold patent leather or black confetti print to nod at the celebratory bottle popping and cigar smoking after MJ’s third straight championship in 1993 to clinch his first three-peat. Be sure to head over to our Jordan release dates page for a better look at the Jumpman’s latest scheduled slate and let us know what you think of this year’s Cigar & Champagne Collection by taking your thoughts to the comments section.

First Look At The Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred That Will Release On Labor Day Weeekend

In late 2015 we were hit with the news that the Air Jordan 1 High OG Banned was going to be making a return in 2016.

Today we get a look at what is believed to be a first leaked image of the Air Jordan 1 that features a red and black leather upper with a contrasting white midsole and a red outsole. As you can see the sneaker does come with the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue but from this lone image it’s pretty hard to tell if the “X” has been placed on the heel like it was on the 2011 Banned release. Whether this will be known as the Banned or Bred colorway is still unclear, but we’ll keep you updated here at Kicks On Fire.

This Air Jordan 1 is scheduled to release during Labor Day Weekend on September 3rd for $160. Make sure to bookmark our Air Jordan 1 High OG Banned launch page to stay updated with the latest images, release information and other important updates.

Author’s Take

Whether this is the Banned or Bred release doesn’t matter too much to me. I would just love to add a pair to my collection because I’ve always wanted this colorway of the Air Jordan 1.

The gold heel counter on the white pair is a nice detail that represents the Larry O’Brien trophy. I’m not a fan of the Air Jordan 8 so I don’t anticipate picking up either pair from this pack.

New Details Have Been Added To The Air Jordan Spike 40

JORDAN SPIKE 40 1 JORDAN SPIKE 40 2 JORDAN SPIKE 40 3 JORDAN SPIKE 40 4 JORDAN SPIKE 40 5

The Air Jordan Spike 40 didn’t do as well as Jordan Brand expected when the new Spike Lee silhouette made its debut last year. They even tried switching things up and created a low-top version to appeal to the masses, but even that didn’t work.

Now Spike and the Jumpman will be trying something else as we take a look at this grade school colorway that you see above. Utilizing the low-top version in an all-black upper, a checkerboard print and a polka dot print can be seen covering the upper along with contrasting red and white accents.

Do the subtle prints on the upper make you like the Air Jordan Spike 40 more than before or are these still a pass for you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

via: JD Sports

Author’s Take

No matter if it’s a low-top or a high-top or if it has print or no prints, I just don’t like this silhouette. Jordan Brand needs to just stop making new colorways and give up on the Spike 40.

The more I see this Air Jordan 11 the more I like it. The combination of the Navy upper and the gum outsole is just a clean look that you don’t see very often. They remind me of the Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above.
