Taking inspiration from Michael Jordan’s appearance on The late Show With David Letterman back in the late 1980’s, this Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in a Light Crimson leather upper with Midnight Navy and University Blue detailing. Midnight Navy lands on the tongue, ankle, inner liner, outsole and the Wings logo by the ankle. Capping things off is University Blue detailing on the Nike Air branding on the tongue and a White midsole.

When I first saw pictures of this Air Jordan 1 I didn?t like it at all. Now that I see better pictures it?s actually not that bad at all. The only thing I don?t like is the University Blue hits on the tongue.

While we all patiently wait for official images of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam dropping at the end of the year commemorating the 20th anniversary of the movie, today we get our latest look of what is said to be a sample of the upcoming Jordan 11 release. As you can see, there are a few things that we’re sure will please the masses.

Right off the bat, the first thing you notice is that the heel tab comes with an embroidered ’45’ on it instead of the customary ’23’. Another different feature on the shoe is the Concord (purple) colored Jumpman placed on the heel/collar of the shoe. What are your thoughts on these new features on the shoe? Can’t get enough of the Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate? Still on the fence regarding this upcoming release? Perhaps these on-feet images will help you decide whether this is a cop or drop?

The shoe is said to be an alternate colorway of the Air Jordan 7 Olympic created by Tinker Hatfield. The biggest difference I’m able to distinguish between this pair and the Olympic pair are changes such as the use of blue used on the underlays, the mismatched heel pull tabs and lining, and the American Flag placed behind the 9 located on the heel. Jordan Brand is giving us a revisionist’s view of what Michael Jordan could’ve been wearing during his historic stint with the Dream Team during the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics by introducing the Air Jordan 7 “Tinker Alternate”. The pair is slated to release on August 16th featuring a bevy of Patriotic features that gives you a physical representation of what Tinker was thinking of doing during the early sample stages of Mike’s Dream Team sneaker. A bolder take on the heel fetures the American flag and Jordan’s Olympic no.9 while a red gradient midsole is aided by extra speckling.
