Nike Air Foamposite Pro Silver Carbon Fiber

The return of the Dr. Doom Foamposites is perhaps one of the most anticipated releases of 2017 that we know of thus far, but what else do Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear have planned for the 20th anniversary of Eric Avar’s legendary Foamposite creations? Today we get a look at a brand new colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro set to release in Spring 2017 with a number of interesting details we’ve yet to see before.

Known as the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Silver Carbon Fiber, the pair manages to take a new approach to the silhouette thanks to a matte carbon fiber finish throughout the upper. A contrasting chrome metallic silver Swoosh hits the side panel branding while a translucent outsole unit skips out on the added ice for a matching finish. Other than that, the rest of the pair manages to keep things simple through the use of a traditional black on the lining, laces, and tongue to help the carbon fiber finish truly stand out.

What do you think of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Silver Carbon Fiber? Check out a full look below and we’ll keep you updated on a release date in the near future right here on Sneaker News.

Nike Air Max 95 Multi-Color Releases This Friday

Nike Sportswear gave us plenty to be happy about when celebrating the return of the Nike Air Max 95 in remastered form last year. Not only did we get the Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” featuring the original shoebox in all of its vintage glory, but a new mismatched “What The” take known as the Nike Air Max 95 “Greedy” delighted. Now a similar inspiration is headed to retailers this Friday, October 21st in a women’s size run known as the Nike Air Max 95 Multi Color.

The Nike Air Max 95 Multi Color comes equipped with a luxurious black leather base and touches of Metallic Gold on the tongue for a standout look. But what really draws attention to this lifestyle-inclined Nike Air Max 95 is the use of synthetic pony hair throughout the signature side panel waves and toecap. The Multi-Color accents form a unique color palette with shades of Dark Cayenne, Rio Teal, and Gym Red livening up the retro running offering.

Last featured in night maroon, the Nike Air Max Thea receives another premium makeover as part of its Fall 2016 lineup.

Similar to the recently showcased Air Max 95, this variation of the sneaker is defined by multicolor paneling across its upper. Shades of teal and blue are found on the mudguard and quarter panels, which are comprised of pony hair, while it’s juxtaposed against a black leather toe box, red textile collar, yellow tongue and clean white rubber sole unit.

Topped off with peach-colored heel pull tabs, you can find this standout pair at select Nike retailers overseas starting October 21st.

Stay tuned for its arrival stateside.

Author’s Take

Even though it’s a women’s silhouette, I still admire it a lot and it can be worn by males as well. This rendition is another solid offering for the season.

Nike Internationalist Nike Internationalist 2 Nike Internationalist 1

The women’s Nike Internationalist receives a premium makeover as part of its F/W 2016 lineup, as it’s introduced in a metallic mahogany finish.

Exuding more lifestyle appeal, the retro runner’s aesthetic is defined by the shimmering finish across its upper, which emits a reflective sheen on various lighting conditions. Further detailed with embossed markings throughout its leather/textile build for a distinctive look, the model is accentuated with night maroon gracing the laces, inner lining and outsole. Finally, a crisp white midsole unit and red TPU heel counter finishes off its overall profile.

While it was first previewed this past July, this rainbow-inspired Nike Air Max 95 is expected to arrive soon, as new lifestyle images have been revealed.

Noted to be a women’s exclusive, the sneaker’s defining aesthetic consists of its multi-colored upper, which is comprised of hairy suede/pony hair, alongside leather accents. The paneled theme consists of blue, red, peach and teal tones, while it’s nicely complemented with black accents and a yellow tongue. A clean white midsole and black outsole creates a prefect balance to its eye-catching makeup.

Previously offered in an ACG-inspired finish, the Nike Air Huarache SE is also offered in a traditional colorway this Fall 2016.

Unlike its classic build, this variation reintroduces the popular ’90s model with a refreshed upper. Perforations are applied on the toe box, while synthetic leather overlays comprise the remainder of its profile. Colored in a black, the signature neoprene bootie construction is rendered in wolf grey/anthracite for a nice touch of contrast, in addition to its distinctive heel cage system.

All resting atop a matching full-length sole unit, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers, as well as through its official online shop now for $120.

Joining alongside the recently featured mahogany/night maroon finish is this metallic hematite version of the women’s Nike Air Max 1 Ultra for Fall 2016.

As depicted, the defining tone simply drapes the sneaker’s entire upper in an understated shimmering fashion, while the monochromatic grey hue is complemented with black accents prominent on the inner lining, laces, eyelets and portions of the outsole. In addition, the premium leather upper is detailed with embossed perforations throughout for a more distinctive look.

All resting atop a clean white midsole unit, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers now as well as its official online shop now for $130.

Author’s Take

Even though it’s officially listed for women, the finish is still versatile enough for all genders. I would’ve preferred it more without the embossed perforated detailing.
