I?ll always be an advocate for this silhouette. The color combo is appealing in general and this should garner the attention it deserves. On purpose or not.

I don?t know why Nike didn?t release these in men?s sizes. The glow-in-the-dark jack-o-lantern on the heel is pretty cool.

Buy, Pass, Wait: adidas Yeezy Boost 750 Light Brown, Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday, Nike Lil Posite Halloween

It doesn’t get much easier on the wallet from here on out. When you can the choice between a new Yeezy, a new Jordan retro, a new signature shoe or something for your little one, what are you going to do without burning a hole through your wallet from all the spending? Luckily the Kicks On Fire staff is here to share our thoughts on all of the big-name drops this weekend in this edition of Buy, Pass, Wait.

Buy Pass Wait 10-14-2016

adidas Yeezy Boost 750 Light Brown

Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (PASS) Three minutes and change. I tried, America…

Renz Ofiaza, News: (PASS) Never really liked this style much. I do like the colorway though and it should obviously be heavily sought after, even though it shouldn’t be, haha.

Juan Carrillo, News: (BUY) If given the chance, I’d buy these and flip them faster than you can say Kicks on Fire. Not my style, but the money people would be willing to pay for it is.

Andres Carrillo, News: (PASS) If i would ever buy a Yeezy it would probably be a 350. The 750 is just too hard to wear in my opinion. I’ll admit that this is the best colorway so far though. Only reason I would buy is to resell.

Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday

EIC Juan: I wrote around 500 words about how awesome these are, so yeah, (BUY)

Renz: (WAIT) I like the simplicity of the design. It is pretty basic, but, it’s a timeless and versatile makeup. The 3’s are my favorite Air Jordan style and I’ll see how it sells before I consider purchasing.

News Juan: (PASS) I’m pretty happy to see the Air Jordan 3 make its return since it’s one of my favorite silhouettes. With that being said, I’ma hold off on getting a pair of 3s until I see one that I really love. I’m looking at you True Blues.

Andres: (PASS) Add some silver or grey elephant print on this shoe and it would look ten times better. All black just looks too plain for me. I’d rather just wait for the True Blues.

Nike Lil Posite Halloween

EIC Juan: (WAIT) $180 for sneakers that my godson might wear literally once because his feet will grow over time is a terrible idea. That being said, the look on his face if I were to cop these is priceless, so there’s that conundrum.

Renz: (PASS) If I was younger, I would’ve purchased this instantly. The theme on the rear is a cool finish and the overall colorway is pretty versatile.

News Juan: (PASS) I mean, they are technically for “kids”, so I guess it works. Never been a fan of any type of Foams, so this is an easy pass. Don’t really feel like wearing candy corn on my feet.

Andres: (PASS) There’s a only a couple of Foams that I would consider picking up this year and this isn’t one of them. The jack-o-lantern graphic makes it look too much like a kids sneaker. Maybe if I had a son or nephew I’d buy him a pair.

Jordan Westbrook 0.2 Camo

Nike
Nike

EIC Juan: (PASS)That’s cute.

Renz: (PASS) It looks like Saint Laurent knock-offs. I won’t be surprised if Westbrook took cues from it since he’s into the fashion scene. Aesthetically, I don’t think it’s that bad. Just not for me.

News Juan: (PASS) It’s basically a Supra, man! Why Jordan Brand gotta do Westbrook like that. Westbrook is dope, his shoe, not so much.

Andres: (PASS) The Jordan Westbrook 0.2 looks better than the 0, but I’m still not sure why Jordan Brand didn’t give Russ a performance shoe instead. I don’t see myself picking up a pair.

Nike LeBron Soldier 10 Christ The King

EIC Juan: (BUY) How soon until we stop messing around and accept that the Soldiers are really LeBron’s sneaker of choice but he can’t give up on his actual signature line because that’s where the money is? The LeBron 14 needs to deliver in a big way or we could be looking at a genuine revolt sooner rather than later.

Renz: (BUY) Aside from the black/gold championship pair, this is my second favorite colorway of the sneaker. If I was playing bball often, this would be something I’d wear.

News Juan: (PASS) Solid colorway, but I’m not too big on the model it comes on. With that being said, I really hope the LeBron 14 surprises us, in a good way. The LeBron line really needs it.

Andres: (PASS) Another solid colorway of the LeBron Zoom Soldier 10. I feel that these are hard to hard to wear casually though, so I’m not going to buy a shoe unless I can wear it casually.

Yup, the “shoe” you see above actually derived from the Roshe Run. Oh how the times have changed, right? Dubbed the Nike Roshe 2 Hi Flyknit, let’s take closer look at this upcoming hybrid creation.

Thinking outside the box, the Nike Roshe 2 Hi Flyknit opts to go for a futuristic sneakerboot aesthetic by donning a larger than life design. The shoe consists of two main features, the Flyknit construction on the base and the leather bootie that helps give it that boot look and feel. Inside the leather bootie you will find another layer that appears to be some sort of sock. Branding appears on the side of the heel, while the laces are attached to both the Flyknit upper and leather bootie. This particular colorway comes in a Black tonal look. Ladies, would you be down to rock these this winter? Expect the Nike Roshe 2 Hi Flyknit to make its debut beginning November 3rd.

Author’s Take

I was happy when the Air Force 1 Hi got the OG treatment last year, I’m happy to see the Low get the same treatment. $120 is a bit too high for an Air Force 1 Lo, but once it goes on sale I’ll be all over the Royal Blue pair.

Up next for the timeless Nike Air Force 1 Low is this semi-monochromatic version that has a very versatile look to it. Rocking the classic Black and White motif, here are some on-feet shots of this upcoming drop.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low comes in a Black nubuck upper. Giving it a tonal look is the additional Black noted on areas such as the midsole, lining and leather heel and Nike Swoosh. The White comes into play as it’s strategically placed on the outsole, mini Swoosh on the vamp, laces, heel “AIR” branding and tongue tag. That’s it. It’s a pretty simple make up but it’s very effective. Out internationally, we’ll alert you when they drop in the states.
