The second of three live auctions for the self-lacing Nike Mags took place last Friday, October 14th in London, selling for 46230 British Pounds (which, according to Google’s currency conversion calculator, is just over $56,800). The bar was set rather high after the first auction in Hong Kong saw the Mag sell for around $105,000, but you might say this pair was sold a relative “bargain” given the amount was almost half that amount and only $20,000 more than what Tinie Tempah paid during a live auction for the non-lacing version back in 2011.

This second auction was won by Riz, CEO of Crep Protect, so you can certainly expect an incredible stunt featuring the self-lacing Mag and their product on their social channels. The third and final live auction for the Nike Mag is scheduled to go down on November 12th in New York City at the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s benefit gala. We expect the final bidding price to surpass the $105,000 mark given that it is the final Nike Mag that will ever be available, and that the pool of bidders will be even more philanthropic given the setting of the auction.

New camo colorways of the Nike Air Force 1 will be arriving at retailers real soon.

After dropping a new Camo graphic on NIKEiD last week, Nike comes back with two already designed colorways of the Air Force 1 that feature camo uppers. The first takes on a Desert Camo look and features a tan and olive upper with gum sole unit. The 2nd pair has a Green Camo look which comes covered in olive, brown, and black on the upper with accompanying black accents.

You can look for the Nike Air Force 1 Low Camo Pack to arrive at select Nike retailers beginning on October 29th with each pair retailing for $100.

The last time we saw the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 was earlier this Summer when The Kid was getting inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame and Nike honored the special moment by releasing the Air Griffey Max 1 InductKid.

Now the classic silhouette returns this Fall with a colorway that will catch many people’s attention. Nike has given the classic trainer the “wheat” look as the entire upper of the sneaker gets covered in sandy suede upper that is accompanied by a white midsole and a gum outsole.

There’s been a couple colorways of the Air Griffey Max 1 that I’ve sort of liked, but this is easily the best one yet. That sandy suede upper looks real nice on this shoe.

Nike Skateboarding is taking a walk down memory lane with the release of their shoebox series, which features the Dunk icon colored up after the shoeboxes that once housed these classics. Today, we’re getting a first look at the “Silver Box” Dunk High, which features a tonal grey upper, green Swoosh and laces, a gum sole, and the shoe-box logo pressed into the heel of the shoe. Better yet, it appears that these will come housed in the silver box, although it lacks that glossy finish that the original had. Known as the Air Jordan 1 Top 3, this colorway takes on a “What The” inspired look that combines the “Chicago”, “Bred/Banned”, and “Royal” colorways of the silhouette all into one shoe. The Fall has brought us new colorways that match up better with the changing of the seasons.
