Our First Look At The Nike LeBron 14

Nike LeBron 14 2 Nike LeBron 14 1

We’ve gotten a few details here and there regarding the upcoming Nike LeBron 14, like the fact that it will feature a strap and that it’s expected to retail for $175. But we haven’t gotten any looks at the shoe just yet. Until now.

The Cleveland Cavaliers official Instagram account posted a video yesterday of the team getting some shots up in preparation for tonight’s game against the Raptors in a battle for 1st place in the Eastern Conference. The video shows King James front and center putting some shots up while wearing what is believed to be the LeBron 14. The video was filmed in black and white so it’s difficult to tell the colorway of the shoe. All we can see is that it does appear to have a strap, that it has a hex-zoom setup on the outsole, and that it’s more of a mid top/low top. You can check out the video here.

The LeBron 14 is expected to release in January, but we just may see it on the court before then.

Author’s Take

It’s difficult to make any judgments based off of this video since we can’t really see the shoe that well. I think Nike will be unveiling the LeBron 14 real soon.

A Nike Air Huarache Utility Done In A Premium White

Nike Air Huarache Utility 1 Nike Air Huarache Utility 2 Nike Air Huarache Utility 3 Nike Air Huarache Utility 4

Another Nike Air Huarache Utility is on the way, and this one is currently known as the “Premium White” colorway. Let’s get a closer look at the shoe via these on-feet images.

Although the shoe is predominantly done in a White colorway, it also comes with bold hits of Metallic Gold and Midnight Navy strategically placed throughout the shoe. The shoe itself is done in a textile upper paired up with the synthetic overlays and of course the neoprene inner sleeve. Below you will find an IU foam midsole next to a Nike Air sole unit and rubber waffle outsole. Priced a $155, look for these at select international retailers.

 Author’s Take

It’s okay. I would have preferred more Navy or Gold hits on the lower portion of the shoe to give it more of a proportional and balanced look.

Nike Will Release Two Different Colorways Of The Nike Kyrie 2 What The

Nike Kyrie 2 What The 1 Nike Kyrie 2 What The 2 Nike Kyrie 2 What The 3 Nike Kyrie 2 What The 4 Nike Kyrie 2 What The 5 Nike Kyrie 2 What The 6

Nike will be doing something completely different when it comes to the upcoming What The colorway of the Nike Kyrie 2. For starters, we’ll be seeing not one, but two different colorways release. The first is the tonal Green Glow pair that we recently took an official look at, and the second is this Sail pair.

Differentiating itself from prior “What The” releases, Nike decided to abandon the color mashup on the Kyrie 2 model and instead go with a material mash up. What do we mean? Well instead of combining together past colorways of the Kyrie 2, Nike decided to take a more monotone, sculptural, dimensional execution with very minimal color pops. The Nike team tells the story of the “What The” Kyrie 2 in a three dimensional fashion with textural graphics carefully molded on both shoes. This Sail colorway nods back to the debut ?Dream? Kyrie 2, while the green glow edition acknowledges the ?Kyrie-oke? edition.

Look for this Sail colorway to release exclusively in North America while the Green Glow pair will be available in the rest of the world. Both pairs will release on December 12th 2016 for $120.

Author’s Take

I understand the switching up of the idea with this “What The” colorway since the color mash up thing was getting played out. I just don’t really see this as a “What The” colorway because from a distance you won’t be able to notice the different materials. I expect these to sit on shelves.

The Return Of The Nike Air Force 1 Low Chi-Town Will Be A Chicago Exclusive

nike-air-force-1-low-chi-town

Aside from the Nike Air Force 1 Low NYC releasing this upcoming weekend, Nike has decided to also bring back the Nike Air Force 1 Low Chi-Town you see above. Said to be a Chicago exclusive, let’s get a better look at the shoe.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Chi-Town made its initial debut back in 2004, and after 12 years Nike has decided to bring it back. The shoe don’s Chicago-vibes as a Black and Red color scheme take care of the upper. What really give the shoe a Chi-Town feel is the Chi-Town branding placed on both the heel and tongue. Hits of White noted on the laces and midsole help give the shoe even more of a Bull-like theme. Set to release December 10th at select Chicago retailers, are you trying to re-up on this pair?

 Author’s Take

Must-have if you’re a Chicago native. Although it’s not the most comfortable sneaker on the market, sometimes pain is beauty (haha).

The Nike Kobe A.D. In Black/White Releases Early

Kobe Bryant’s 12th signature silhouette, the Kobe AD, has made waves thanks to its sleek design, moving away from the numbered installments, and for the Lunarlon foam midsole paired with Dynamic Flywire and a unique heel construction. The coming Nike Kobe AD Black/White was slated to release on December 16th but is available now at select spots like Capsule Toronto.

When talking about the pair, Kobe made sure to let the world know that he wanted the performance aspects to be refined and perfected. A Zoom Air unit in the heel pairs perfectly with Lunarlon foam for a comfortable ride while Dynamic Flywire adds lockdown support. Micro-treaded traction grips the hardwood for easy, quick cuts while the pair opts for Engineered Mesh on the upper instead of the premium Flyknit construction from year’s past (although Nike hasn’t ruled out the knit construction for possible Elite models in the future).

What do you think of the coming Nike Kobe AD Black/White? Check out more detailed shots below and be sure to head over to our Release Dates page for an updated look at all of Nike Basketball’s latest and greatest. Know that you can grab this pair early right now via Capsule Toronto for $160 USD.

Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Features Nike Air On The Heel

We’ve been treated to a number of OG Air Jordan 1 colorways throughout this year, and Jordan Brand will only continue to revitalize the classic first signature from 1985 with a number of new Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air” colorways featuring a new ‘Nike Air’ stitching on the heel panel for Spring 2017. Sneaker Bar Detroit posted these new photos featuring some nice alternate options if you missed out on the fragment 1s or Shattered Backboards given the matching Soar Blue and Max Orange colorways slated to arrive in the near future.

Sure, the Wings-less feature is the first call-to-attention here with bold ‘Air Jordan’ block letters replacing the classic ‘Wings’ logo on the ankle collar, but what do you think about the additional Swoosh landing on the heel? Be on the lookout for these Air Jordan 1 “Rare Air” pairs to arrive at retailers come January 2017, but head over to our always-updated Jordan Release Dates page for an updated look at the latest and greatest from the Jumpman.

LeBron James Spotted In The Nike LeBron 14 At Practice

Looks like the cat is out of the bag. LeBron James, who had been practicing in the LeBron 14, was finally spotted in his new shoe by the Cleveland Cavaliers Instagram account. The shoes feature a strap (as mentioned in our last report) and a much shorter cut than the previous LeBron signature installments and most certainly the high-rising LeBron Soldier 10. The soles appear to have Zoom pods in sections, similar to how the LeBron 12 featuring the Hex-Zoom for that distinct outsole design.

The Nike LeBron 14 is scheduled to release in the coming weeks with an MSRP of $175.

Recently offered in night maroon, this women’s iteration of the classic Nike Air Force 1 High is rendered in midnight turquoise for its latest rendition this season.

Priced at $110, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers nationwide now.

The Nike LunarCharge Iced Lilac Arrives This Week

Nike LunarCharge 1 Nike LunarCharge Nike LunarCharge 2 Nike LunarCharge 4 Nike LunarCharge 3

Combining elements of classic silhouettes such as the Air Flow, Air Current, Air Max 90 and Air Presto, with the modern midsole and outsole of the LunarEpic Flyknit — the result is the birth of this new Nike LunarCharge.

Noted as women’s style, the silhouette sports a low-cut profile that incorporates a mixture of synthetics and neoprene to form its upper. The internal bootie construction borrows the design from the Air Presto with a heel tab for easy accessibility, while Air Max 90 eye stays further detail the aesthetic. Finally, a laser-siped lunarlon outsole finishes off the sleek profile.

Featured in iced lilac with white, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers starting Friday, December 9 for $140.

Previously released as a KITH-exclusive in New York, it seems that select retailers nationwide will have the original Nike Air Force 1 Low NYC in stock as well.

Essentially a recreation of the first pair that debuted thirteen years earlier, the low-top is defined by a classic black tumbled leather upper with mini-Nike Swoosh logos, branded lace locks and the signature NYC branding embroidered across its heels. Additional details include white outlining the Swooshes and a crisp white midsole unit to cap off the simplistic profile.

Retailing for $120, you can purchase this limited edition pair at a few other Nike stockists starting this Saturday, December 10th.

The Urban Haze theme won’t be exclusive to the Air Max Uptempo and Air Max Uptempo 2 this season, as it’ll be treated on the classic Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 as well.

As with the aforementioned pairs, the basketball sneaker is essentially defined by its dark olive hue across its smooth suede and mesh upper. The militaristic-inspired color scheme is perfectly offset against a sail white-colored rubber sole unit with its signature design details, and air-bubbled enhanced heel unit to solidify as well as complement its overall profile.

Look for this pair to debut at select Nike retailers sometime later this month.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.
