The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Bred is making a comeback in 2016. Coming in the uber-popular Bred color scheme, the high-top sneaker comes dressed in a Black and Red motif on the upper constructed out of a full premium leather. Breaking up the two-toned look of the shoe is the all-White midsole sitting on top of the Red outsole. Coming in OG fashion, the Nike branding is placed on the tongue and the Jumpman is nowhere to be found on the heel. The Wings logo also appears on the collar to complete the branding on the shoe. A Black nylon tongue and inner lining round out the major features on the shoe. Set to release on September 3rd for $160, there is no doubt that this shoe will be one of the most highly anticipated Jordan Brand drops of all 2016.

This latest variation of the Air Jordan 2 pays tribute to the Quai 54 world streetball tournament.

Founded in 2003, the function is held every summer in Paris, France and it’s recognized as the biggest, most competitive and entertaining outdoor basketball event worldwide. The commemorative pair is defined by a light bone/beige colorway which seems to be comprised of nubuck and leather across its upper. Emitting lifestyle appeal with luxe detailing, the model is further pronounced with metallic gold accents located on the heel, eyelets and tongue tab, which also bears respective branding that correlates with the event.

The sneaker is topped off with matching laces, a crisp white full-length rubber sole unit and an icy translucent outsole.

This time emphasizing the sneaker’s build against a natural backdrop, the basketball sneaker essentially stays true to its OG makeup that MJ first wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs. Tonal black covers its breathable mesh upper and smooth leather accents on the rear, in addition to the higher cut patent leather overlay that encompasses the upper.

Yesterday became Kevin Durant’s first official day as a member of the Golden State Warriors as he was introduced to the media in a formal press conference and took pictures with his new #35 jersey.

While he was at the team’s practice facility he was putting up some shots, but he wasn’t wearing his new KD 9s. Durant was actually spotted rocking the Air Jordan 4 Premium Black that released earlier this year. You know, the one with the pony hair?
