A Closer Look At Russell Westbrooks Air Jordan 3 OKC PEs
By SoleInsider
Russell Westbrook is considered by many the current the face of Jordan Brand as the man is literally a walking triple double machine. Being part of Jordan Brand grants you the opportunity to have some pretty dope PEs to your name, and Russ has a few.
His most popular and impressive pairs are arguably his OKC Jordan 3s. Up above we get a closer look at both the Home and Away pairs which feature a white and black leather upper, respectively, with orange blue, and yellow accents to complete the OKC color scheme.
Which pair would you rather own? See them both above and chime in with your opinion in the comments below.
Having come off the possibly the biggest Jordan Brand release of the year this past weekend with the Space Jam 11s, we now take a closer look at pair of 11s that will be releasing next year.
This new low top colorway of the Jordan 11 is currently being known as the “Barons” colorway and is unofficially named after the minor league baseball team that Michael Jordan once played for. The shoe comes covered in a Black nubuck upper instead of the traditional mesh with a dark grey patent leather mudguard. Other details include Metallic Silver branding, a White midsole, and a translucent icy outsole.
The Air Jordan 11 Low Barons is currently expected to release some time in April of 2017 for a retail price of $175. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.
I’m a bigger fan of the mid/high Jordan 11, but this colorway looks pretty clean. The new color on the patent leather is great as well as the nubuck on the upper.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Perforated Releases In Spring 2017
By SoleInsider
This Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is not like the others. Releasing this Spring 2017 season, this Air Jordan 1 features all the fixins of your classic AJ1, only with perforated heel panels and swooshes as well as a stamped leather tongue label (opposed to the classic embroidered ones) and debossed Wings logo on the collar. Just like the “Premium Essentials” Air Jordan 1s that dropped in August, these are likely meant to be an “everyday” option like the Air Force 1. A firm release date is coming soon, but expect these early next year; check back on our Jordan Release Dates page for the latest.
Jordan Brand has yet to officially unveil the Jordan Melo M13, but we’ve already seen a couple of colorways of the sneaker thanks to leaks.
We now add another colorway to the lineup with this navy blue pair that we see above. The thing that stands out the most about the Melo M13 is the textured upper that has a 3D look and feel to it. Silver accents then land on the branding on the Jumpman on the ankle while a light blue outsole wraps things up.
What are your early thoughts on the Melo M13? Take a look at the latest colorway and leave your comments down below.
The Space Jam 11 madness has finally past, but there’s even more to come for the Air Jordan 11 throughout the Holiday 2016 season. The Air Jordan 11 Pinnacle “Suede” is going to get a widespread release on December 23rd featuring that monochromatic upper, embossed branding, and $400 USD price tag, but if you’re searching for something a bit more affordable and with some added touches of color that don’t hold back on the premium aesthetic, the grade school exclusive Air Jordan 11 “Heiress” could be the perfect pair for you.
The Air Jordan 11 Heiress is slated to release this Saturday, December 17th featuring a brand new velvet mudguard in Night Maroon to match the synthetic nubuck upper. The non-traditional material upgrade makes for a lifestyle release perfect for any occasion. The only problem is, this Air Jordan 11 Heiress will only go up to a size 9.5 in men’s. The red velvet-like appearance is also accented with Metallic Gold pendant branding on the Jumpman logo and ’23’ PE heel branding, and the overall offering won’t come cheap. A rumored price of $220 USD will accompany the pair this coming Saturday.
What do you think of the Air Jordan 11 GG “Heiress”? Check out more detailed shots below and our accompanying live review of the model and head over to our Air Jordan Release Dates page for an updated look at the coming Jumpman calendar.
Jordan Brand’s holiday 2016 offerings will be capped off with the Air Jordan 6 Black Cat, as it?s scheduled to debut before the last day of the year.
As its official moniker suggests, the basketball sneaker dons a black leather composition with enlarged perforations throughout to promote sufficient ventilation. In addition, when exposed to flash, the perforated portion bears a reflective element to increase its visibility in low-lit conditions.
Subtle white accents gracing the midsole unit and Jumpman branding ? unlike the all-black AJ 3 and AJ 4 renditions ? to cap off its simplistic and slightly stealthy profile. Although not shown in this gallery, a graphic of its respective theme is also placed on the insoles.
Retailing for $190, you can purchase a pair at select Nike and JB stockists on December 30th, 2016.
Click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 6 Black Cat launch page now for more images, info and release details.
The colorway is pretty versatile and suitable for everyday wear. This model should get a lot of attention. I only dislike the enlarged perforations a bit.
Although this variation doesn’t bear the exact color coordination of the original, it flaunts an alternate theme instead with white side panels, followed by royal blue overlays and black utilized for its toe box, collar section and swooshes. Comprised of premium tumbled leather, the model is adhered atop a white midsole unit and royal blue outsole.
Notable details include ?Rare Air? replacing the traditional Wings logo on the ankle collar, along with the Nike Air branding embroidered across the heels instead of the tongue.
Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for an official release date, which is expected sometime in early 2017.
I would’ve preferred it in the OG Royal theme instead, but, this variation isn’t that bad either. I’m a fan and this should be sought after when it releases.
With the recently featured Max Orange pair kicking off 2017, the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air is expected to release in the iconic Banned colorway as well next year.
Essentially dressed in the iconic BRED color scheme, a mixture of black and red simply covers the premium tumbled/smooth leather upper. Notable design elements for this style consists of an ?AIR JORDAN? lettering on the collar, instead of the traditional wings logo, in addition to ?Nike Air? embroidery across the heels.
Suggested retail price is listed at $140 and look for this pair to debut sometime in early 2017.
The Space Jam 11 madness has finally come to a close with that famous patent leather gem releasing at retailers this past weekend. So what else is on Jordan Brand’s schedule before the end of the year? The Air Jordan 3 made a slight comeback throughout 2016 with the simple yet effective Cyber Monday colorway and the return of the True Blue 3s with original ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel. Now another new lifestyle installment will be headed to retailers this Saturday, December 17th with the Air Jordan 3 “Wool” in Dark Grey.
The Air Jordan 3 Wool takes the iconic 1988 silhouette to task in a new lifestyle aesthetic by ditching any traces of leather traditionalism and elephant print for a monochromatic Dark Grey wool upper perfect for the winter season. Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel matches to the point of almost being non-existent while an off-white Sail midsole and outsole unit adds a simple, refined finish to the casual colorway. What do you think of the Air Jordan 3 Wool?
Check out more detailed shots below and know that this pair will be available on Saturday, December 17th for $200 USD. Head over to our Air Jordan Release Dates page for more of the latest Jumpman updates.
The Air Jordan 12 had one hell of a year in 2016 as we saw countless colorways release all year long. So that means that things are gonna slow down in 2017, right? Nope.
There’s already a handful of Air Jordan 12s expected to release in 2017 with a majority of them being of the low top variety. Seen above is the Air Jordan 12 Low in Grey and Blue which some have been referring to as the Georgetown colorway. This Jordan 12 features a grey perforated suede upper with leather detailing on the mudguard. Blue hits then lands on the branding on the tongue and heel along with a subtle hit of yellow.
This brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 12 Low has a scheduled release date of March 18, 2017 with a retail price of $170. Make sure to click and bookmark our Air Jordan 12 Low Grey launch page to keep up with the latest images, release information, and other updates.

Author’s Take
I’m not a fan of the Air Jordan 12, but this colorway could have looked solid if more blue was added, perhaps on the mudguard. I’ll be passing on these.
Up next to get a release date is the Air Jordan 12 Low Playoff. Looking essentially the same as the original mid/high top version, this Air Jordan 12 features a full leather upper done in Black with White detailing landing on the mudguard, outsole, and branding. Pops of Varsity Red are then seen on the branding on the tongue and heel as a finishing touch.
Look for the Air Jordan 12 Low Playoff to release on February 25, 2017 for $170. Will you cop?

If these were original Mid/High version then I would have copped in a heartbeat. I don’t really like 12 Lows so I’m gonna have to pass and continue to wait for the real thing.
BSTN Retailer Went All Out For The Release Of The Air Jordan 11 Space Jam
By SoleInsider
The long-awaited Air Jordan 11 Space Jam finally made its debut yesterday. If you were prepared and ready for the release, you were probably able to get yourself a pair. If you decided to sleep in and waited an hour or two, there’s a good chance you missed out on one of the most anticipated Jordan Brand releases of the year. Damn.
What really amazes me is the fact that the sold-out (adult sizes) Air Jordan 11 Space Jam was such a success not just in North America, but all over the world as well.
Take for example Germany-based retailer, BSTN. Not only did they have a full-size run in-store for the whole family, they also decided to go the extra mile and convert their entire store into a Space Jam galore! From the giant Space Jam posters in the front of the store, to the Space Jam apparel complimenting the Air Jordan 11, to the sick Space Jam-themed lighting and displays all over the store, BSTN was definitely the place to be if you’re an Air Jordan 11 Space Jam fanatic.
Seeing retailers do stuff like this all over the world makes you realize how much of an impact Jordan Brand continues to have on the consumers on a worldwide level. No matter how many times this shoe has released and in what quantity or price it retails for, people will still go crazy over them time and time again. Amazing.
We hope you got a pair. If you didn’t, we suggest you hold of on paying resell prices. There’s bound to be a restock somewhere down the line.
Jordan Reed Of The Washington Redskins Is Now Part Of The Jordan Brand Family
By SoleInsider
Jordan Brand has added another great talent to their football roster as Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is now part of the family.
Reed was one of five NFL players to join Jordan Brand this season, the others being Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate, Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis, Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Corey Coleman and Jacksonville Jaguars rookie safety Jalen Ramsey. They join a roster of high-caliber NFL athletes already endorsed by Jordan Brand, including Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas.
Here’s what Reed had to say about joining the Jumpman family:
?It means a lot, man,? Reed said. ?Growing up looking up to [Michael Jordan] and things like that, now I?m sponsored by his brand. That?s a big thing and a big deal to me, at least.?
Reed has been a part of Jordan Brand since September when he signed right before the season opener.

By SoleInsider
The 2016 Heisman award winner was announced yesterday as University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson received the award that is given to the most outstanding player in college football.

Before the winner was crowned, Jordan Brand presented Peppers with a custom pair of brand new Space Jam 11s that features lasered logos on the heel, and special lace dubraes. The shoes were also housed in a special box that pays homage to Michigan?s previous Heisman winner, Charles Woodson. Watch the video below as Peppers unboxes the sneakers for the first time.
The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Appears In Black And White
By SoleInsider
The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air will be returning in a handful of new colorways. If you’re looking to pick up a pair that has an OG feel to it, take a look at this brand colorway that has the model done in a Black and White color scheme.
Rocking the same color scheme and color blocking as the OG Black and White Jordan 1, this Rare Air version trades in the Nike Air branding on the tongue in favor of the Jumpman, and replaces the Wings branding on the collar in exchange for “AIR JORDAN” branding done in bold White lettering. Not pictured is the Nike Air branding on the heel. Blending in nicely with the upper is the White and Black found on the midsole/outsole. Expect these to drop early next year.
