The Jordan Super.Fly 5 PO has a look of its own as the upper looks nothing like the Jordan Super.Fly 5. The upper comes equipped with a wing-inspired midfoot strap, some added support on the ankle, some elephant pring on the mudguard and an overall lighter construction. Thoughts on the shoe? The Air Jordan 4 Motorsports is coming back on March 26th, 2017 for $190 USD, but this retro first released in 2006 will return with a slightly different colorway, and without the famous Mars Blackmon logo on the heel panel. The Air Jordan 4 Motorsports edition brings the Jumpman branding back to the heel after brief hiatus saw original ‘Nike Air’ branding land on the iconic “White/Cement” retro colorway this past year.

While Michael Jordan Motorsports may be a defunct extracurricular interest outside of the realm of basketball for MJ, the numerous colorways that released in honor of the biking imprint still have a lasting impact to this day as this Air Jordan 4 shows. A premium white leather base is accented by contrasting black throughout on the midsole, heel, and ‘Wings’ ankle support system while a vibrant Varsity Royal shade livens up the colorway throughout. The premium Air Jordan 12 Wool released this past October, and recently, the Oregon Ducks were presented with their very own PE pairs.

Essentially similar to the recent general pair with a woolen and leather construction, this player exclusive edition is punctuated by the application of the Ducks logo embroidered across the tongue. In addition, the sneaker holds more value as it also incorporates Tinker Hatfield’s signature on the inner back pull tab.

Not only is the Air Jordan 15 Stealth releasing in January, but come Spring Jordan Brand will also be bringing back the Air Jordan 15 Obsidian 17 years after it’s original release date.

Rocking the OG Obsidian, White and Metallic Silver color scheme. The Jordan 15 definitley has a very unique look. It comes constructed out of a leather and woven leather upper. The woven hits are found on the paneling, which is one of the main reasons the shoe has a very distinct look. White detailing is found on the inner sleeve, rubber heel, laces, lining and parts of the sole. Metallic Silver lace tips add a nice touch to the shoe. You knew it was coming. It was only a matter of time before a Chicago colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Rare popped up. What you see above are the first images of the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Chicago.

Sans the change of branding, the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Chicago is essentially the same exact shoe as the Air Jordan 1 Chicago. I guess you can say it has a little bit of retro and OG feel to them since Jumpman branding appears on the tongue, while Nike Air branding can be seen in tonal embroidered fashion on the heel. Another new branding hit is the decision to remove the Wings logo from the ankle and replace it with “AIR JORDAN” branding. Just like the Chicago 1s, this version also comes with a White midsole and Red outsole. Priced at $140, expect these to release early 2017.

The Chicago 1 is an amazing shoe. I have the low-top Chicago 1s and I have a retro high-top version with the Jumpman on the tongue. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get my hands on the OG Nike Air branded pair that dropped not too long ago. Although I’m not saying this could be a replacement for that pair, I’m not against owning this pair. The color blocking is the best and in my eyes it’s just another version of the Jordan 1 Chicago. I wouldn’t mind having it in my collection. I might just cop. I can definitely see people sleeping on these.

Believed to be one of Jordan Brand’s All Star Weekend releases for 2017, this Air Jordan 6 is being known as the Chameleon colorway due to the color-changing capabilities that are seen on the upper. Covered in an iridescent leather upper, this Air Jordan 6 gets hit with Black on the tongue, laces, inner liner, heel tab, midsole, and outsole. Additional iridescent detailing can be seen on the lace aglets with 3M accents on the upper capping things off.

Still, this doesn’t stop the rumor mill from pumping out information regarding what’s to come from Jordan Brand in 2017. Although photos haven’t surfaced, an Air Jordan 11 in White/Midnight Navy/University Blue with a product code have been revealed, with a release likely to come during the Holiday 2017 season. Air Jordan 11s during the winter time aren’t a new tradition, but with all the OG colorways already come and gone, it makes sense for Jordan Brand to dabble outside of the original run once again and perhaps dip into the archive of unreleased samples, like the two navy-based Air Jordan 11 samples pictured below. What exactly is the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air? Think of it as an alternative version of the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air. The construction and design is basically the same. The difference lies on the style of branding the shoe comes with. This version of the Jordan 1 comes in the same Black and White color blocking on the leather upper as the OG Jordan 1 Black/White. The branding opts to come with “AIR JORDAN” on the ankle instead of your traditional Wings logo. A Jumpman is placed on the tongue instead of Nike Air, but Nike Air is present in tonal fashion as it can be seen embroidered on the heel. Is this a good alternative just in case you don’t have the OG pair? Are you a fan of the shoe? Or is this an easy pass? Expect these to drop early 2017 for the retail price of $140.
