The Nike Air Max 1 Pinnacle White Is Now Up For Grabs

Air Max 1 Pinnacle 1 Air Max 1 Pinnacle 2 Air Max 1 Pinnacle 3 Air Max 1 Pinnacle 4 Air Max 1 Pinnacle 5

Nike is giving the premium treatment to one of their most beloved Air Max models of all time. Dubbed a Pinnacle release of the shoe, let’s take a look at the official images of the Nike Air Max 1 Pinnacle White.

The first thing that caught my eye was the premium leathers used to construct the all-White upper of the Air Max 1. The branding on the heel and tongue come in embossed fashion. Additional branding can be seen on the translucent outsole and side panels. Other premium features include the leather tongue tag and cork insoles. A set of White laces and midsole round out the look of the shoe. Price at $160 and available now, who’s getting a pair?

Author’s Take

It’s cool, but I don’t think I would get this all-White pair, I’d rather go for the all-Black pair since it requires less maintenance.

A Closer Look At The Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 The Academy

Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 The Academy 1 Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 The Academy 2 Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 The Academy 3

A few weeks ago we saw special colorways of a handful of Nike Basketball sneakers as a part of the Nike Basketball The Academy tournament collection. While it’s pretty much impossible to get your hands on any of the shoes from the collection, where there’s a will there’s a way.

Here we take a closer look at the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 from the collection which comes mostly covered in a white mesh upper with a colorful print that can be seen on the toe and the LeBron branding on the middle strap. A black Swoosh logo and an icy blue outsole complete the look on the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 The Academy that can be probably be found at places like eBay or other third party sellers. Good luck finding a pair in your size if you’re on the hunt.

Nike Basketball Releases A USA Collection As Olympic Games Heat Up

Nike Basketball is celebrating Team USA’s Olympic Gold Medal hopes with the upcoming Nike USA Gold Swoosh Pack, slated to arrive at retailers on August 22nd. Comprised of the Kyrie 2, the KD 9, and the LeBron Soldier 10, each silhouette gets a premium overhaul for this quickstrike release featuring Metallic Gold accents on the branding and eyelets in honor of Team USA’s quest for yet another Gold Medal at the international level.

Nike Basketball smartly gives each of these models either a red, white, or blue theme with the Nike KD 9’s premium Flyknit draped in an ominous Obsidian base. This particular color choice works beautifully when paired with a University Red lining, Metallic Gold branding, and an icy outsole to match Team USA’s road uniforms. The Nike Kyrie 2 is perhaps the boldest take of the trio thanks to a “Red October” like aesthetic that sees a premium mesh and fuse base drenched in University Red while Metallic Gold briefly interrupts the all-red-everything motif on the branding and eyelets. The Nike LeBron Soldier 10 stands out thanks to gold speckling throughout a clean white base while icy bottom adds the perfect finish to the understated offering. Interestingly enough, the KD 9 and LeBron Soldier 10 each feature bold ‘USA’ callouts while the Kyrie 2 is absent of any American abbreviation.

As of today, Team USA is 5-0 during the Rio Olympics competition, although the past couple of games have been incredibly close raising questions of whether the red, white, and blue will be able to win yet another Gold Medal. Do you think Team USA will be able to bring home the gold?

Nike SB Releases A Psychedelic Dunk High

The Nike Dunk is an all-time classic model, but it’s legendary status hasn’t prevented it from experimentation. Moden amenities, new technologies, and bold colorways have all found their way atop the Nike Dunk High in recent years, but none have been as bold as this new “Psychedelic” release. This graphic heavy, reflective rainbow infused aesthetic looks more ready for a Grateful Dead concert than skating thanks to a trippy array of multi-color infused swirls, alternating black panels and just the right touch of gold throughout. Be sure to check out more photos of the latest trippy Nike Dunk release after the break and if you’re a fan of the look, know that shops like Premier have this pair in stock for $120 USD.

Nike Kobe 11 Mambacurial

It looks like the soccer-inspired “Mambacurial” colorway concept is coming back once again to the Kobe Bryant’s Nike line. The Kobe 11 is receiving the soccer boot look, and we get our first early preview of the shoe today. The latest Kobe signature shoe features its Flyknit upper with black toes that fade into bright blue on the lateral side and red on the medial side with yellow Swooshes. They’re completed with gum rubber outsoles, which seem to indicate that this “Mambacurial” colorway is influenced by indoor soccer shoes instead of the cleat inspiration for Mambacurials of the past. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more info on the Kobe 11 “Mambacurial”.

Initial Look At The Nike Kyrie 2 Hot Lava

Nike Kyrie 2 Nike Kyrie 2 1

With a light bone variation releasing at the end of this month, the Nike Kyrie 2 is introduced in a brand new colorway of hot lava, which is expected to debut later this Fall.

Flaunting a predominantly blacked-out composition, the defining hue is implemented across the mid-foot strap and midsole unit via speckling, while it can also be seen on the distinctive logo on its tongue tab. The stealthy, yet bold design is also further pronounced with a contrasting white Swoosh located across its heel unit.

A release date for this model has not been announced yet, but, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

Author’s Take

I like the stealthy build and it’s a versatile pair. The hot lava accents aren’t a bad touch either. I like how its minimal.

Bright Colors Cover The Nike Juvenate

NIKE JUVENATE 1 NIKE JUVENATE 2 NIKE JUVENATE 3 NIKE JUVENATE 4 NIKE JUVENATE 5 NIKE JUVENATE 6

Last year we saw the introduction of the Nike Juvenate which bears similarity to the popular Nike Roshe Run. That is one of the reasons that it has gained popularity with the casual person who buys sneakers every here and there.

The latest version of the lifestyle runner from Nike takes on a very Spring/Summer look with this Peach Cream colorway. The breathable mesh upper is done in a vibrant orange peach hue with blue, white and volt accents serving as contrasts.

Ladies can now pick up this loud and colorful colorway of the Nike Juvenate at select Nike retailers for $95.

Author’s Take

This colorway is too bright for me, but I have definitely considered picking up other past colorway of the Juvenate. I like the similarities it has to the Roshe Run.

The Nike Air Trainer Max 91 Is Making A Comeback

NIKE AIR TRAINER MAX ?91 1 NIKE AIR TRAINER MAX ?91 2

It’s been close to two years since the last time we wrote about the Nike Air Trainer Max ’91 here at Kicks on Fire. So I guess technically, the shoe is making a comeback, right? After a small hiatus, Nike has decided to bring back this classic model from the ’90s beginning in the timeless White and Black colorway.

Releasing this Fall season, the shoe rocks a new colorway that has it come in a predominantly White upper offset by the hits of Black and Grey noted throughout. Constructed out of leather and a little bit of mesh, the shoe also comes with a Light Grey outsole, White laces and perforations on the toe. Stay tuned to find out when these throwback classics get a release date.

Author’s Take

While I’m always glad to see classics like these make a return, this is a pair I won’t be picking up. It just isn’t my style nowadays.

All These New Colors Of The Nike KD Trey 5 IV Are Available Now

If you’re not familiar with the Nike KD Trey 5 IV, it’s basically an alternative (and more affordable) model to the KD signature line. Author’s Take

It’s not a bad looking shoe. Not sure if these ever go on sale, but if they do, I wouldn’t mind getting a pair.

Nike Kyrie 2 Hot Lava

Kyrie Irving’s second signature sneaker with Nike, the Kyrie 2, kicked things off with the smoking hot “Inferno” colorway featuring Bright Crimson and Atomic Orange accents throughout. Those shades did for Kyrie’s model what Infrared did to the Air Jordan 6, adding a reddish hue that truly popped on-court.

The Nike Kyrie 2 isn’t finished yet either as showcased earlier today through a gum-bottomed Kyrie and now this Kyrie 2 “Hot Lava”. This pair gives the NBA Champion a near-Triple Black colorway, but adds Hot Lava speckling throughout the midfoot strap and midsole for just the perfect amount of vibrancy. Throw in a reflective Silver Swoosh branding and this pair would’ve been the perfect match to those Cavaliers’ alternate black-sleeved jerseys that they wore to clinch the NBA Championship.

Expect this pair to arrive at retailers in the near future, but stay tuned for a release date right here on Sneaker News.

Gum-Soled Nike Kyrie 2 Releasing In Late August

Kyrie Irving is currently cutting up international defenses, tying Olympic records, and leading Team USA to a 5-0 record through the preliminary round. He’s doing so in a number of patriotic Nike Kyrie 2 PEs, but back home Nike Basketball has already planned a number of new releases for Kyrie’s second signature silhouette before the Kyrie 3 comes out. This Kyrie 2 “Light Bone” is perfect for the end of summer, as lifestyle sensibilities like a classic gum bottom help push the pair into casual territory.

The Kyrie 2’s construction focuses on a lightweight ride with enough unique grooves in the bottom to help guards slice and cut up opposing defenders with a quick first step. That traction pattern is beautifully highlighted here through a gum outsole while the upper focuses on simplicity through the use of Light Bone and Reflect Silver touches. Brief accents of red add just enough vibrancy. The Kyrie 2 “Light Bone” will arrive at retailers on August 31st for $120 USD, but just in case you can’t wait, grab your pair right now on eBay.
