Charles Barkleys Nike Air Max CB34 Goes Triple White

Charles Barkley is often mentioned among the greatest players to never win an NBA Finals trophy, but that hasn’t changed how nostalgic people get when talking about Chuck. The Round Mound of Rebound also had one of the most interesting signature sneaker lines throughout the 90s as he championed both ‘Force’ and ‘Air Max’ imprints during his prime. Today we get a look at a brand new Nike Air Max CB34 creation that features the popular “Triple White” aesthetic as the retro model with a new age color option just hit select shops.

The Nike Air Max CB34 utilizes a mid-top construction with a head-turning midsole unit that’s a bit camouflaged here thanks to a matching white-on-white colorway. The midfoot strap dons Swoosh branding to match the ‘CB34’ tag on the tongue while bold ventilations add a retro effect. The visible air unit on the heel opts for a clear window with no additional color hits to keep this pair as clean as possible.

Check out more detailed photos below and while this Charles Barkley retro is already available at select shops, be on the lookout for this “Triple White” colorway to arrive at Nike.com and on eBay.

Nike Kobe 11 Releasing In Navy And Gold

We’re only a week or so away from the Nike Kobe AD, Kobe Bryant’s latest signature sneaker featuring refined elements, a sleek design, and an homage to the Mamba Mentality despite Kobe retiring after 20 incredible NBA seasons. That hasn’t stopped Nike Basketball from creating more awesome Nike Kobe 11 colorways though, as we’ve already been treated to a preview of his upcoming Kobe 11 Christmas and more to hold us over until the Black Mamba’s latest signature drops on November 22nd.

The latest Nike Kobe 11 EM colorway ditches the premium Flyknit for a more ventilated and flexible fuse and engineered mesh combination in a tribute to another basketball-loving country: the Philippines. The Deep Royal Blue, Fountain Blue, and Metallic Gold combination creates a subtle aesthetic when paired with a black midsole unit with faint contrasting speckles. The traditional Kobe sheath logo hits the tongue to match the Swoosh branding’s gold elements throughout.

Expect a release date in the near future, but we’ll keep you updated on this brand new Nike Kobe 11 EM right here on Sneaker News. Check out more detailed images below and be sure to let us know what you think of Kobe’s latest in the comments section.

The Self-Lacing Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 Will Cost $1,000

Nike is dedicated to showing us the way of the future with their new auto-lacing technology, but if athletic footwear is going to cost $1000 USD a pair in the future, let’s just hope that the price is adjusted for some serious inflation. That’s right, the self-lacing Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will retail for $1000 USD when the futuristic offering arrives at retailers on November 28th featuring the Swoosh’s incredible adaptive fit technology that was 28 years in the making since debuting fictitiously in Back To The Future Part II and finally becoming a reality with the introduction of the Nike MAG earlier this year.

For the uninitiated, you can check out more of the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0’s incredible auto-lacing technology with Nike’s Senior Innovator Tiffany Beers here. The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 consists of four main components in regards to its adaptive fit technology – a heel sensor alerts the shoe when a foot enters, a cable lacing system replaces the traditional lacing unit, a high-tech mini-motor tightens and loosens the cables, and a rechargeable battery provides power and fancy LED lights in the silhouette’s outsole unit.

Expect the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 to be a rather limited offering this Holiday 2016 season, but stay tuned for more release date updates right here on Sneaker News. Do you plan on grabbing Nike’s first widely available self-lacing sneaker on November 28th? Check out more photos below.

Following the return of its OG “Phoenix” colorway last month, Charles Barkley’s signature Nike Air CB34 doused in a pristine makeover for its latest iteration this season.

As depicted in the gallery above, the ’90s basketball sneaker is essentially dipped in all-white. Notable details include perforations throughout the upper to increase breathability and a mid-foot strap that ensures superb lockdown. The only noticeable contrasting element is seen on the insoles with metallic silver logos.

A few Nike retailers nationwide have this pair available now for $140, but, expect a wider release to occur this month.

New Stitch Detailing Appears On The Nike Blazer Mid Premium

BLAZER 1 BLAZER 2 BLAZER 3 BLAZER 5 BLAZER 4 BLAZER 6

It’s not too often that Nike creates colorways of the Nike Blazer Mid, but that’s exactly what we have here with these two new pairs that you see above.

The classic Nike silhouette has been covered in a suede upper in your choice of two different colorways: Provence Purple and Birch. Both pairs have been given the tonal look and also come with a new added detail, baseball style stitching that has been placed on the heel and by the midsole.

So what do you think ladies? Are you a fan of these Blazers? If you are then you’ll be able to pick up your pair at select Nike retailers this Fall.

via: Suppa

Author’s Take

I’m not a fan of tonal colorways of the Blazer. I need the Swoosh to be a different color so the shoe can have a nice pop. The new stitching is a nice detail though.

It looks tough! The Flyknit paired with the leather is a good look. Although it’s a shoe I have no need for, it’s still pretty dope for people who actually have use for it.

A Better Look At The Riccardo Tisci x Nike Chelsea Chukka

Riccardo-Tisci-x-Nike-Air-Zoom-Legend Riccardo-Tisci-x-Nike-Air-Zoom-Legend-1 Riccardo-Tisci-x-Nike-Air-Zoom-Legend-2-1 Riccardo-Tisci-x-Nike-Air-Zoom-Legend-3-1 Riccardo-Tisci-x-Nike-Air-Zoom-Legend-4-1 Riccardo-Tisci-x-Nike-Air-Zoom-Legend-5-1 Riccardo-Tisci-x-Nike-Air-Zoom-Legend-6

We got our first look at the Riccardo Tisci x Nike Chelsea Chukka earlier this week. Today we get even more images of the shoe as well as an update of what the shoe is actually called.

Now known as the Riccardo Tisci x Nike Air Zoom Legend, the shoe a an exclusive collab that comes win a Black upper contrasted by the hits of White noted on the branding and most of the midsole. If you take a look at the lower portion of the heel you will find an array of colors that help give the shoe a nice pop.

This is what Riccardo had to say when it came to the inspiration behind the collaboration:  ?very Tisci?it is very much me. The rubber heel and sole are very Nike but with a new interpretation inspired by a futuristic take on Brazil, waves, and movement. The front side is more classic, a sort of opposite of sports. Chelsea boots are my obsession in the male wardrobe. This is a strong shoe with a dual contrast and an experimental style. And the heel had to be important?its aesthetic has always represented strength since ancient Greece, where Achilles?s heel represented the human male force.?

The Riccardo Tisci x Nike Air Zoom Legend was available exclusively at the new NikeLab store at 21 Mercer Street in New York on November 11th. Retail price tag was set at $350 and is now sold out. Did you manage to get a pair? If you need one, Kixify has a couple listings.

The Final Pair Of Nike Mags Is Auctioned Off For $200,000

NIKE MAG

The final pair of the 2016 Nike Mags was auctioned off last night in New York City at at the Michael J. Fox Gala and the buyer paid a pretty penny for the limited edition sneakers.

When all was said and done, the final auction pair sold for $200,000. Just to compare, the pair that was auctioned in Shanghai went for $105,000, and the pair in London went for $56,000. So this NYC pair sold for more than both the Shanghai and London pairs combined. The best thing about all of these auctions is that all proceeds will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation to try and find a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.

Nike SoHo Offers An Innovative Basketball Trial Zone

Nike SoHo 2 Nike SoHo Nike SoHo 1

Due to certain permitting issues, the grand opening of Nike SoHo — a new five-story, multi-sport, 55,000-square-foot retail experience — located at 529 Broadway at Spring Street in Manhattan, has been delayed until further notice. It was originally scheduled for this past Friday (Veteran’s Day).

One of the store’s key destinations consists of the fifth floor, which features a Nike+ Basketball Trial Zone that spans nearly an entire half court, with an adjustable hoop, 23-foot ceilings and a multifunctional digital video screen ? projecting hallowed NYC courts like those at Dyckman Park in Washington Heights and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The immersive experience provides one-of-a-kind opportunities to showcase product benefits that answer each consumer?s individual sport needs, with the help of in-store certified athletes.

The trial zone is available with or without an appointment, and visits are tracked through scanning each guest?s Nike+ app pass ? displaying his or her name while in action, and documenting the results of the experience for future visits.

Nike plans to open another store similar to Nike SoHo in Miami in mid-December.

Stay tuned.
