Varsity Red Drapes The Next Nike KD 9

Nike KD 9 Nike KD 9 1 Nike KD 9 2 Nike KD 9 3

With the royal iteration arriving next week, another colorway of the Nike KD 9 is revealed to join alongside the forthcoming Sauce and Oreo colorways.

Since it’s the holiday season, this particular take evokes a Christmas-inspired finish, as varsity red essentially drapes the entire flyknit composition and midsole unit. Pristine hits of white are prominent on the Swooshes across its side panels, branding on the insoles and outsole to finish off its vibrant, yet clean two-tone profile.

A release date has not been announced yet, although, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

I’m looking forward to the Sauce colorway, but, this pair is pretty solid too. I guess I’m biased towards the colorway.

This upcoming colorway of the Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite could very well be the model’s boldest offering up to date. Dubbed the Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite Flash, the model takes on a tonal approach in which the entire upper is done in a reflective Silver colorway. Today we take a look at the shoes official images.

Set to be a part of Nike’s Holiday 2016 collection, the shoe’s upper is done in the aforementioned reflective Silver upper combined with the 3M material placed all over the shoe’s piping. Branding on the tongue and panels come in the same fashion, while the hits of White noted on the laces, lining and midsole provide minimal contrast. Dropping on November 22nd for $140, are you down to wear these this holiday season?

Author’s Take

It’s a little too bold for a holiday release, don’t you think? I mean, it is a skateboarding shoe, so anything goes, right?

Like our EIC has shared, I still don?t get how this colorway correlates with the character. It?s a nice simple variation overall so I don?t dislike it.

Maybe I’m just biased towards the colorway but, this pair is appealing. I would’ve preferred it in a flyknit construction though.

The Nike SF Air Force 1 Releases In Europe Tomorrow

Nike Sportswear killed it with the freshly released Nike SF Air Force 1 model. Not only did the Nike SF-AF1 capture everything that we love about Bruce Kilgore’s iconic retro basketball model by keeping the original outsole unit intact, but the revisionist lifestyle approach recontextualized the offering with military grade canvas and premium leather. Additional paracord militaristic straps doubled as a handle for a matching tote bag for a completely original take on the Nike Air Force 1. If you live in Europe, we have some good news for you: all men’s and women’s colorways of the Nike SF-AF1 will be available tomorrow, November 16th at 8am CET.

Check out more shots of the Nike SF Air Force 1 below and head on over to our release dates page for more of the latest updates.

Nike Adds Model Bella Hadid To The Family

bella hadid

Nike has just added a new celebrity to their roster with American fashion model Bella Hadid. Bella was named “Model of the Year” by GQ in 2016 and was ranked one of the Top 50 models by Models.com earlier this year. She made the announcement via her Instagram yesterday.

One thing that is interesting to note is that Bella recently broke up with r&b singer The Weeknd, which as you may know has recently partnered up with Puma as a Global Brand ambassador and creative collaborator. Coincidence? Who knows.

This colorway has the shoe done in a Black upper composed of mesh, suede and Dynamic Flywire. Creating contrast and a bit of a premium touch is the Brown leather hits noted on the tongue branding badge and the pull tabs on the heel. Below you will find the Zoom-cushioned sole unit of the Spiridon done in a White colorway to clean things up a bit. Already available internationally, expect these to get a wider release in the near future.

Nice hybrid model in a colorway that can also be worn casually. I dig it. The leather hits are a nice touch for sure.

Previously reinterpreted with brogue accents, Andre Agassi?s signature Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 returns in a ubiquitous finish of all-black this season.

Aside from the stealthy makeover, the silhouette has been upgraded to better suit the colder season, as it incorporates a durable composition of weather-resistant leather and textiles. Striped laces and a matching full-length rubber sole with the visible Air-Sole unit in the heel finishes off the overall profile.

Select Nike retailers overseas already have this pair in stock, although, a stateside release is imminent.
