Going the way of so many classic Nike models before it, the Zoom Spiridon is the next sneaker to get the revamped ‘Ultra’ treatment from Nike Sportswear. The modified reconstruction with an updated upper and lighter-weight sole unit actually stays pretty true to the original look of the shoe, and appears to actually be featured in two different constructions: one with a stitchless tape-seamed upper and one with a more traditional stitched build. You can compare the two OG-inspired colorways in each construction below.

The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon will be getting an upgrade in 2017 with the all-new Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Ultra.

Above is the OG colorway which features a grey, black, and red upper. New details include fuse detailing on the mudguard and a new cored out Ultra outsole for better comfort. At the moment the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Ultra is expected to arrive at select Nike retailers in early 2017 so keep your eyes peeled and ears open for updates. In addition to the OG colorway that we just took a look at, the all-new Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Ultra will also be releasing in a nearly Triple Black colorway.

Nike will be taking the classic Spiridon silhouette and giving it a lighter and more comfortable feel by adding lighter materials on the upper and a cored out Ultra outsole. This colorway goes with the sleek all-black look with subtle hits of orange on the Swoosh logos that appear by the toe and tongue. The shoe also comes with 3M detailing on the upper.

The Nike Blazer has come a long way. When it first released, Nike had no intentions of making this model a luxury and premium offering. Close to 35 years later, Nike shows us that the luxe and premium look fits the silhouette rather nicely. Coming in a low-top and mid-top fashion, here’s our latest look at the NikeLab Blazer Studio .

With the help of NikeLab, the Blazer gets a revamped look that uses premium materials to give the model a luxurious appearance. The models above come in you choice of Sail or Vacetta Tan premium and soft leather uppers. Adding to the luxe look of the shoe are features such as the embossed branding and the leather tongue tags, while the tonal Swoosh and laces evoke a minimal premium feel to the shoe. Get a good look at both and versions and know that you can now find these at select international retailers.

Nike SB‘s Shoe Box collection continues. For this upcoming release, all the attention is placed on the Black box era. The Nike SB Dunk High Black Box was created to pay homages to those Nike SB years. Here are the shoe’s official images.

The Nike SB Dunk High Black Box pays tribute to the the black box era in which the box was used throughout the mid 2000s. The Dunk High comes in a Black upper accented by the White and Purple Haze placed on the laces, piping and tongue. The shoe itself is made out of a suede and leather upper accompanied by the reflective hits placed throughout. Lastly, an icy translucent outsole completed the main traits of the shoe. Retailing for $130, you’ll be able to scoop up a pair of your own on December 26th.

The Nike Air Max 97 Silver Bullet was supposed to be a European exclusive release. Well, that no longer looks to be the case as U.S. retailers such as KITH are now carrying the beloved Air Max model. Don’t try to get a pair though, since they’re all sold out now, but at least it gives us hope that the shoe could possibly be getting a wider stateside release somewhere down the line, right?

This OG colorway of the shoe has it come in mostly Metallic Silver with Varsity Red accents complimenting the shoe very nicely. Said to be inspired from high-speed Japanese bullet trains expect this 20th anniversary release to release in different colorways throughout all of 2017. Looking to modernize the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon, Nike has decided to create a brand new update version dubbed the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon Ultra.

So how exactly is this a revamped version of the classic model? For starters, it appears to be much more comfortable and lighter than ever before. The new look Spiridon comes with a fuse constructed upper, than in return males the overall shoe much lighter than ever before. In addition, the shoe also comes equipped with a lighter cored out Ultra sole unit, that makes the shoe more comfortable aside from shedding even more weight. The first two colorways above has the model done in an OG color scheme along with an all-Black colorway. Look for these to release early 2017. Any time Nike creates a more comfortable and lighter version of the classic without sacrificing the look of the shoe, I’m all for it. What about you?

Fans of the Nike Air Force 1 Low, take a look at this brand new tonal offering on the timeless classic. Rocking a clean Maroon colorway all over the upper, this is defintiely a good look for the current season.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low comes constructed out of a synthetic nubuck upper done in a Maroon colorway. The textured Nikw Swoosh, heel tab and midsole also come in the same fashion. Creating minimal contrast is the White on the outsole, the tongue tag, laces, and the cross-shaped “AIR” branding on the heel. Kyrie Irving’s third Nike signature shoe is releasing on Monday, December 26th. According to Foot Locker’s release dates calendar, the Nike Kyrie 3 will launch in the Black/Total Crimson/Dark Grey/White colorway, which also features a colorful outsole pod that accents Kyrie’s tendencies to dance around the edges of his feet. More Kyrie 3 colorways are confirmed to release in January 2017, but circle your calendars for next Monday for the official release debut of the Kyrie 3.

Orange, silver, and pink boxes are out, and now Nike SB is on to the next color in their shoe box timeline, the purple box. Actually black with purple accents, the box that contained some of the most classic colorways like the “Dinosaur Jr.”, “Puff N’ Stuff”, and “Mork and Mindy” Dunks is represented on this Dunk High, that actually takes some obvious inspiration from perhaps the most famous release of all from the purple box era, the MF Doom colorway.

The Dunk High “Purple Box” features a black suede base with the familiar ostrich leather toe piece and and reflective silver piping, all completed with purple laces and a translucent outsole. Like the rest of the box series colorways, a shoe box graphic is embossed on each heel.

Scheduled to release tomorrow in Europe, the “Purple Box” Dunks are officially releasing in the USA December 26th on the Nike SNKRS app, and you can also grab a pair right now on eBay.

We’ve been promised a number of coming Air Penny 4 retros throughout 2017 to coincide with the 20th Anniversary Foamposite extravaganza that’s sure to follow. While the Penny 4 isn’t as popular as past Penny Hardaway retros given the shoe’s unique construction, it does harken back to a time when Penny was one of the most popular athletes in the NBA.

This Nike Penny 4 Orlando colorway features a white tumbled leather base complete with a unique shroud overlay hiding the underlying lace system while a midfoot strap and mudguard contrast in black. A slate blue color holds down the side panel piping and visible air on the heel while retro 1 Cent logos appear throughout.

Nike Sportswear finally brought back the cult-classic running model known as the Nike Zoom Spiridon from 1997. While we’re still waiting on another classic to return to store shelves from that same year in the Nike Air Max 97, we can acknowledge that both designs were simply way ahead of their time thanks to sleek metallic finishes and outsole units that provided style and comfort.

Nike even used the Spiridon as a template for the high-arching soccer-inspired Nike Flyknit Mercurial IX, now slated to return Spring 2017 in an updated lifestyle colorway thanks to premium touches of Vachetta Tan leather, College Navy an Sail Flyknit, and a Gum bottom.
