I like this colorway more than the Binary Blue pair, but my first pair of Air Max Zeros is gonna need to have a little more color than this.

Racer Blue Lands On The Nike Air Huarache Ultra

Nike Air Huarache Ultra 1 Nike Air Huarache Ultra 4 Nike Air Huarache Ultra 3 Nike Air Huarache Ultra 2

The Nike Air Huarache will always be a classic, but like most things it always undergoes change. That’s why Nike gave us the all-new Nike Air Huarache Ultra late last year which has enjoyed success in 2016.

Nike plans to close out the year strong for the modified Huarache model with colorways like this Racer Blue pair that we see above. Covered in a bright royal blue from head to toe, this Air Huarache Ultra features a mesh upper with hyperfuse detailing and synthetic overlays.

Look out for this Racer Blue colorway of the Nike Air Huarache Ultra to arrive at retailers this Fall.

Author’s Take

The Air Huarache Ultra us my favorite hybrid model of the original Huarache because of how similar it looks to the original. I’ve been a fan of a few past colorways, but not this Racer Blue pair.

A Sketched History Of Jason Petries Nike LeBron Designs

Take an artistic trip down LeBron James sneaker history lane with this sketched recap of some of the greatest hits by the designer himself. Jason Petrie took over the heralded LeBron signature line with the start of the VII, and there’s no denying that King James sneaker stock went up considerably once he took the helm. It all started with the LeBron VII, which featured Flywire and full-length visible Air Max, and has evolved into an innovation-driven lineage of basketball footwear that is considered to be most technically advanced hoops shoe in the world.

So why this sketched history? Could Jason be buttering us up for the LeBron 14, which is set for a release soon after the LeBron Soldier 10 has finished its run? Stay tuned.

NBA 2K17 Kicks: The Nike Kobe 11 Battle Grey That Never Was

The NBA is back and Nike Basketball brought the heat for the season kickoff with the Battle Grey Pack. Featuring the Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Flyknit, Nike KD 9, the Nike Kyrie 2 and LeBron James’ real signature shoe the Nike LeBron Soldier 10 (Jordan Brand also had an Air Jordan 31 Battle Grey for those keeping score), the varying shades of grey made it easy for many of Nike Basketball’s athletes to rock them in their season debuts. One signature shoe that was prominently missing from the pack was the Nike Kobe 11. From a logical standpoint, it makes sense that the Kobe 11 would not be included because Kobe Bryant is no longer an active player. And if a Kobe shoe was going to be included in the pack, it should probably be the rumored Nike Kobe AD.

But since we love the Nike Kobe 11, we’re going to bring it to life. Well, by bring it to life, we mean make them in NBA 2K17. Because it’s cheaper than actually building it on NIKEiD and waiting a few months for a shoe that may or may not turn like you thought it would. That’s not me projecting at all…

As you might expect, a grey Nike Kobe 11 wasn’t all that difficult to make. What was surprising was the glaring difference between the look of the shoe in the editor and the shoe you actually get to use in the game. It might have to do with the Kobe 11’s reflective material on the swoosh that’s baked into the in-game shoe, but the metallic finish does not translate well at all. The swoosh, logo and heel stitches don’t shine at all. At least video game DeMar DeRozan makes them look good at least.

Nike Kobe 11 Invisibility Cloak Releases On November 4th

Nike Basketball continues to churn out awesome new colorways of the Nike Kobe 11, but could this latest “Invisibility Cloak” colorway be an homage to Kanye’s time with the Swoosh?

You might remember Kobe and Kanye’s time sharing the Swoosh spotlight during the Kobe System commercials back in the day when a number of celebrities joined Kobe Bryant on-screen as the Black Mamba played a sort of motivational speaker. Now the Nike Kobe 11 EM gets overhauled in that classic “Blink” aesthetic as a simple black fuse upper is joined by iridescent accents of Fuschia Flash and Hyper Pink throughout. The vibrant accents contrast on the Kobe tongue branding and Dynamic Flywire while a Metallic Silver Swoosh adds some depth to match the icy outsole. What do you think of the upcoming Nike Kobe 11 Invisibility Cloak? The pair will arrive at retailers this Friday, November 5th for $160 USD.

As always, check out more detailed shots of the Nike Kobe 11 Invisibility Cloak below and stay tuned for more of the latest and greatest November 2016 releases by heading over to our release dates page.

NikeLab reinterprets the iconic Air Force 1 Low with premium flair once again this Fall 2016, as the classic silhouette is treated in a new colorway of Blue Grey.

Elevated with luxe flair through the utilization of tumbled leather comprising its upper, the component is essentially treated in the light blueish tone. Perforations are detailed on the toe box to increase breathability, while it’s all juxtaposed against a crisp white sole unit for lightweight, flexible cushioning, in addition to a leather-wrapped rubber outsole for durability and traction.

Retailing for $150, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers worldwide, as well as directly through its official online shop now.

Following the release of its Battle Grey and Four Wins iterations, the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 receives another colorway this season, which is punctuated by a suede toe box.

While the recently featured BRED colorway incorporates that same premium element, the performance basketball sneaker is essentially colored in classic tones. Pristine white covers the majority of its makeup, while contrasting black accents are prominent on the toe area, reflective swooshes on the heel and the tip of the mid-foot and ankle straps.

Finished off with an icy translucent outsole, you can expect to find this pair at select Nike retailers very soon.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates.

NIKEiD Is Bringing Back The Pendleton Option To The Nike Roshe One

What? Just because Nike came out with the Nike Roshe Two you thought they were all done with the Roshe One? Think again. Up next for the OG Roshe is the return of the Pendelton option on NIKEiD! We saw this option on the model a few years back for a limited amount of time. If you managed to create a pair, consider yourself lucky. For those who weren’t as lucky, Nike is giving us a second chance to create our very own Pendleton-constructed Roshes. An ideal look for the Fall/Winter season, it is currently being reported that the Pendleton option on the Nike Roshe One will make its return on November 3rd. You creating a pair? I am!

Grey Tones Cover The Latest Nike Air Max 1 Premium

Nike Air Max 1 3 Nike Air Max 1 Nike Air Max 1 2

The classic Nike Air Max 1 receives another versatile update this Fall 2016, as it’s treated in a classic two-tone combination of wolf grey and cool grey.

Flaunting a smooth leather construction alongside what seems to be matted hyperfuse overlays across the toe box and heel section, the dark and light shades essentially converge across to create an eye-catching, yet understated color scheme altogether. A cool grey-colored midsole unit and anthracite outsole further caps off the greyscale theme and makeup overall.

This pair is scheduled to debut at select Nike retailers overseas starting Monday, October 31st.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for further updates on its arrival stateside.

I’ll always be an advocate for this runner. This colorway is simply a versatile option for everyday wear and you can’t go wrong with it.

Nike Air Huarache Ultra Racer Blue

The adidas EQT Support ADV isn’t the only modified retro runner to show up in a bright tonal blue colorway this fall. Coincidentally, the Nike Air Huarache Run Ultra also receives a very similar look to its adidas counterpart. Already eerily similar in design, the two shoes almost look like twins in their matching royal blue mesh uppers despite being from being from different brands. If you’re on team adidas, check out the EQT Support ADV here, and for those loyal to the Swoosh, check out a preview of the Racer Blue Huarache Ultra below and expect them soon at Nike Sportswear suppliers in the US.
