Gio Gonzalez was back this morning posting some more heat on his Instagram account. As if the Air Jordan 4 PE Cleats that he showed us last week for Opening Day weren’t enough, he now gives us a look at a few upcoming Jordan retros that will be releasing this Spring.

Spotted in the pictures above are the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game (2016), Air Jordan 9 Low Infrared, Air Jordan 10 Chicago Flag, Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles and a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 10 that we’ve never seen before. This new Air Jordan 10 is also part of the upcoming City Pack and pays tribute to the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The Air Jordan 10 Rio will feature a dark and light grey upper with yellow, green and blue detailing on the outsole that could represent the colors of the Brazilian flag. Finishing off the shoe is RIO written up by the ankle. With the 2016 Summer Olympics taking place in Rio this year it makes perfect sense for Jordan Brand to have created this colorway.

No release date exists yet for the Air Jordan 10 Rio but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for any updates.

The Jordan Horizon has seen an emphasis on graphics and exotic textiles in a way that its predecessor, the Jordan Future, just wasn’t ready for. The latest “Brown Croc” that utilizes a synthetic crocodile leather throughout is indicative of this shift in thought process, as a monochromatic Hazelnut brown adds a boot-like tooling to Jordan Brand’s latest off-the-court style. Brief hints of Metallic Gold can be found on the branding and outsole to coincide with a splash of Infrared 23 on the Air Jordan 13’s traction pattern underneath the surface. When Michael Jordan first appeared on Late Night With David Letterman, it was more to promote his eye-catching first signature, the Air Jordan 1, than it was him going on television as you know, the greatest basketball player to ever live. In 1985 he was still just a rookie, but one with incredible hang time and a then-controversial sneaker that was slated to change the way athletes were marketed for generations to come. In honor of the occasion and Mike’s bold tracksuit ensemble, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Air Jordan 1 “David Letterman” on April 30th for $160. The Light Crimson upper is accented by patent leather Midnight Navy Swoosh branding to nod at his bold fashion for the occasion. The Air Jordan 10 doesn’t look like a “New York” sneaker to an outsider of the city. Maybe it’s because we’ve seen so many New York tribute kicks that channel the colors of either the Knicks, Mets or Yankees that it makes this black and gold pair stand out from the crowd in an interesting way. Add to that the recent release of the very hyped Air Jordan 10 OVO in both black and white colorways and you’ve got a pair that some might say is flying under the radar despite their similarities. But something tells us that after taking a look at these in beautiful 4K HD quality, the critics might have something else to say. Can it replacement the hype and excitement of the OVOs? Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan – Michael B. Jordan, that is – star in Apple TV’s latest ad, showcasing the voice-activated services by Siri and all that the platform has to offer. The up-and-coming actor is portraying a young Kobe Bryant in an upcoming fictional biopic on The Black Mamba, so he’s spending some time with the 5-time champ to receive some insight into his basketball psyche. Of course, a Kobe Bryant biography probably won’t happen until long after his retirement, but Michael B. Jordan would be a fine (and somewhat ironic) selection to play that role. Another Air Jordan 10 was recently leaked, but this doesn’t appear to be a part of the City Pack. As a matter of fact, it looks like this version will release strictly in GS sizing for the girls. Let’s take a look at the first image of the Air Jordan 10 GG Pure Platinum.

A quick glance at the shoe and it looks very similar to the Air Jordan 10 Steel, but being that the name of the shoe is currently Pure Platinum, my guess is that the color of the leather upper is actually Pure Platinum and not white. Hits of black placed on the outsole, collar, eyestay, tongue and laces breakup the tonal look of the shoe. What are your thoughts on the shoe? The Air Jordan 10 Charlotte you see above is set to be a part of this year’s Air Jordan 10 City Pack. Paying homage to the city of Charlotte, let’s look at the latest images of the Charlotte inspired Air Jordan 10.

The shoe comes dressed in a white leather upper that ends up taking care of the majority of the shoe. The white base is accented by the hits of teal and purple placed in areas such as the tongue, eyestay, ankle, laces, ankle, heel and outsole. Just like all the other 10s from the City Pack, the city abbreviations appear on the collar of the shoe as a “CHA” is embroidered to represent the city of Charlotte. For those of you who aren’t in the know when it comes to why Charlotte got its own shoe, let me tell you why. Since Michael Jordan is a majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets NBA franchise, it only makes sense that the city of the team that he owns is well represented in the city pack, right? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Navy is set to be the next Air Jordan 1 colorway rocking the beloved Nike branding. While it is technically an OG colorway, the Metallic Navy doesn’t get the same amount of love compared to other OG colorways. Subtle in appearance, don’t let that take away from the simple/clean aesthetics of the shoe.

To start off, the shoe comes dressed in an all-white leather upper. Unlike many other popular OG colorways, this version does not come with any type of color-blocking, it’s simply done in all white. The white base of the shoe is contrasted by the Metallic Navy hits placed all over the shoe in areas such as the branding, collar, lining, outsole and Nike Swoosh. More white is seen by way of the laces and midsole, but for the most part that’s about it. One good thing about a subtle looking shoe is that it’s easier to pair with whatever it is you’re wearing. If you like the simple and clean look of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Navy you will be able to pick up a pair of your own in June for the retail price of $160.

For well over a month we’ve known that a Los Angeles-themed Air Jordan 10 was in the works as a part of this year’s Air Jordan 10 City Pack. Only problem is, we had no idea what it was going to look like. Today we finally get our first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles.

The first image shows that the shoe will come dressed in a upper made out of several different shades of blue. A lighter blue is placed on the lining, while two darker tones can be seen in different parts of the upper. The embroidered LA is placed on the collar to let us know what city the shoe is reppin’. Lastly, the shoe gets cleaned up a bit as hits of white are spotted on the midsole and outsole region of the shoe. The shoe currently has a tentative release date of May 14th with a retail price of $190. Now that you’ve seen the shoe, let us know what you think.

This latest take on the classic Air Jordan 4 was certainly the most expensive pair to release today, almost double the price of the AJ 17+ Copper and Europe-exclusive AJ 10 Paris respectively.

Essentially a more luxe variation of the silhouette, the upper flaunts an exceptional textured leather build in black, while tonal accents of pony hair grace the signature netting and lower portion of its tongue.

Juxtaposing against its stealthy profile consists of a clean white rubber sole unit, with the model’s distinctive visible air bubble component seen in the heel.

Finished off with matching waxed laces and branding on the tongue and heel, the model is also equipped with a leather Jumpman hang tag, while packaged in an elephant printed blacked-out box, with extra set of laces, a white dust bag and a special card.

You can buy a pair at select stockists now, such as Kixify, for $400.
