Another Look At The Air Jordan 10 Charlotte

The Air Jordan 10 Charlotte you see above is set to be a part of this year’s Air Jordan 10 City Pack. Paying homage to the city of Charlotte, let’s look at the latest images of the Charlotte inspired Air Jordan 10.

The shoe comes dressed in a white leather upper that ends up taking care of the majority of the shoe. The white base is accented by the hits of teal and purple placed in areas such as the tongue, eyestay, ankle, laces, ankle, heel and outsole. Just like all the other 10s from the City Pack, the city abbreviations appear on the collar of the shoe as a “CHA” is embroidered to represent the city of Charlotte. For those of you who aren’t in the know when it comes to why Charlotte got its own shoe, let me tell you why. Since Michael Jordan is a majority owner of the Charlotte Hornets NBA franchise, it only makes sense that the city of the team that he owns is well represented in the city pack, right? Releasing June 18th for $190. Let us know what you think about the shoe. Be sure to check out our Air Jordan 10 Charlotte hub page for all the latest information and images of this upcoming release.

Author’s Take

It’s a clean colorway, probably the best thus far when it comes to this year’s city pack. There’s a good chance that these will do good.

An On-Hand Look At The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Navy

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Navy is set to be the next Air Jordan 1 colorway rocking the beloved Nike branding. While it is technically an OG colorway, the Metallic Navy doesn’t get the same amount of love compared to other OG colorways. Subtle in appearance, don’t let that take away from the simple/clean aesthetics of the shoe.

To start off, the shoe comes dressed in an all-white leather upper. Unlike many other popular OG colorways, this version does not come with any type of color-blocking, it’s simply done in all white. The white base of the shoe is contrasted by the Metallic Navy hits placed all over the shoe in areas such as the branding, collar, lining, outsole and Nike Swoosh. More white is seen by way of the laces and midsole, but for the most part that’s about it. One good thing about a subtle looking shoe is that it’s easier to pair with whatever it is you’re wearing. If you like the simple and clean look of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Navy you will be able to pick up a pair of your own in June for the retail price of $160.

Our First Look At The Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles

For well over a month we’ve known that a Los Angeles-themed Air Jordan 10 was in the works as a part of this year’s Air Jordan 10 City Pack. Only problem is, we had no idea what it was going to look like. Today we finally get our first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 10 Los Angeles.

The first image shows that the shoe will come dressed in a upper made out of several different shades of blue. A lighter blue is placed on the lining, while two darker tones can be seen in different parts of the upper. The embroidered LA is placed on the collar to let us know what city the shoe is reppin’. Lastly, the shoe gets cleaned up a bit as hits of white are spotted on the midsole and outsole region of the shoe. The shoe currently has a tentative release date of May 14th with a retail price of $190. Now that you’ve seen the shoe, let us know what you think.

The Jordan Ultra.Fly Takes The Black/Infrared Route

The Jordan Ultra.Fly is Jordan Brands latest basketball sneaker. We got our first look at the shoe less than a month ago when it was unveiled in three different colorways. We now have the latest colorway and it’s definitely the boldest one yet.

This version comes in a Black and Infrared colorway. The Ultra.Fly is said to be inspired by the spotted leopard as noted by the upper’s Kurim overlay. Not only does it have a unique look, the upper’s construction offers a flexible cage-like support. The Kurim overlay sits on top of the black meshing that covers the Infrared upper. If you take a closer look at the shoe you will notice that it also comes with more  Infrared placed on the foam-based sole unit and inner sock lining. A silver-colored Jumpman is placed on the ankle to complete the look of the shoe. Dropping April 15th for $125, let us know what you think.

The shoe is clean. I’d even wear them outside the court. The distinct looking upper is really appealing to me.

Alongside the AJ 17 Copper and AJ 4 Premim Black, a closer look at this European exclusive Air Jordan 10 is provided, as the model essentially pays homage to the city of Paris, France.

Flaunting an understated full black upper, the component is comprised of an exotic leather-like texture for a bold yet subdued profile. Pops of purple are evidenced on the outsole, heel pull tabs and “75” embroidered across its collar section which signifies the French city code.

Additionally detailed with tonal black hits for the laces, inner lining and midsole, a slightly translucent outsole rounds out the design. If you’re located in Europe, you can purchase a pair at select JB and Nike stockists tomorrow, April 9th for about $220.

I’m generally a fan of the silhouette and I do like how this pair is predominantly black. The only thing I dislike is the upper construction and that’s pretty much its entire aesthetic.

The Air Jordan 6 GS Green Glow Drops Later This Month

Air Jordan 6 GS Green Glow 1 Air Jordan 6 GS Green Glow 2 Air Jordan 6 GS Green Glow 3 Air Jordan 6 GS Green Glow 4 Air Jordan 6 GS Green Glow 5 Air Jordan 6 GS Green Glow 6

Joining the Air Jordan 6 GS Bright Mango that we just took a look at, the end of the month will bring us another GS colorway of the Air Jordan 6.

Unlike the Bright Mango version, I think many people will appreciate this colorway because it uses a color scheme that many people like. This Air Jordan 6 comes with a Cement Grey and Dark Grey upper done in a combination of suede and nubuck. Adding some flair to this colorway are the Green Glow accents that appear on the midsole, lace lock, heel tab, Jumpman on the tongue and the outsole.

Scheduled to release on April 30th for $140, will these be a cop or a drop for you? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more images.

Author’s Take

Much better than the Bright Mango colorway in my opinion. I’m sure a lot of grown men will also be trying to fit into a pair. They remind me a lot of the Air Jordan 4 Green Glow that released a couple years back.

Later this month we’ll be seeing the release of a new colorway of the Air Jordan 6 designed exclusively for the grade school crowd.

Known as the Air Jordan 6 GS Bright Mango, this colorway features a White leather upper that alternates between smooth on the base and tumbled on the overlays. Next we see Ghost Green accents on the translucent outsole, heel tab, lace lock on the tongue, and the Jumpman logos on the tongue and heel. Hasta then covers the tongue, inner liner, heel tab and midsole along with Bright Mango accents on the midsole overlays and the speckling on the midsole.

Set to release on April 30th for a retail price of $140, will and of the grade school folks out there be copping a pair?

What’s up with Jordan Brand making these crazy colorways that nobody really likes? I expect this Air Jordan 6 to sit on shelves.

Teaser Image Of The Air Jordan 5 Bronze

Earlier we gave you a first look at the Air Jordan 5 Olympic that featured a White leather upper and Gold detailing on the tongue and midsole meant to pay homage to the gold medals given out during the Olympics. Now continuing with the “Olympics” theme we get a first look at another new colorway of the Air Jordan 5.

This Air Jordan 5 is being known as the Bronze colorway. At the moment there’s only one teaser image that has surfaced which shows the tongue done in a shiny bronze with a navy Jumpman logo. The inner liner and laces are also navy. It’s unsure what color the upper is on the shoe, but if this preview that we showed you back in January is accurate then then upper should also be navy.

At the moment the Air Jordan 5 Bronze is expected to release on September 24th for $190. Make sure you keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for more images in the near future.

Author’s Take

It’s hard to tell what the shoe looks like from this teaser images, but if the entire upper is also blue then it has potential. Hopefully it’s a suede material on the upper and not leather. We’ll have to wait and see.

Will You Be Dishing Out $400 On The Air Jordan 4 Premium Black Tomorrow

AIR JORDAN 4 1 AIR JORDAN 4 2 AIR JORDAN 4 3 AIR JORDAN 4 4

In less than 24 hours we’ll be seeing the release of the Air Jordan 4 Premium Black. Considered probably the most deluxe Air Jordan 4 of all-time, this sneaker takes luxury to a whole new level.

Jordan Brand is calling this a premium colorway of the Air Jordan 4 as it features a blacked out upper covered in a premium tumbled leather with snakeskin detailing. Adding to the “premium” look is pony hair on the side panels and on the tongue. The insoles are composed of quilted leather and the inner liner is also made up of leather. Lastly we have a Sail outsole finishing up the look.

Will you be picking up a pair tomorrow for $400? Let us know down in the comments below and don?t forget to visit our Air Jordan 4 Premium Black launch page to stay updated with the latest images, news and updates.

Author’s Take

I would have preferred to see some contrast on the upper instead of just all-black. While the Air Jordan 4 is probably my favorite Air Jordan silhouette of all-time, it?s hard to justify spending $400 on a pair, especially one as plain as this one.

A Closer Look The Air Jordan 1 High OG David Letterman

Air Jordan 1 High OG David Letterman 1 Air Jordan 1 High OG David Letterman 2

Some of you may be too young to know who David Letterman is, but he used to have his own talk show (since he’s now retired) much like Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon have these days.

Back in the 80’s Michael Jordan appeared on The David Letterman Show during his rookie season. This upcoming Air Jordan 1 is inspired by that visit that Michael made to the show. The Air Jordan 1 High OG is inspired by what Jordan wore for the interview. The sneaker features Bright Crimson on the leather upper with Midnight Navy and University Blue detailing for a bold touch of contrast. Not pictured here, but the insoles feature a special graphic consisting of a microphone along with the words ?On Air? to coordinate with its respective theme.

Scheduled to release on April 30th for $160, what are your thoughts on this new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High OG? Don’t forget to head over to our Air Jordan 1 High OG David Letterman launch page to stay updates on the latest images and information on this release.

When I first saw pictures of this Air Jordan 1 I didn’t like it at all. Now that I see better pictures I think it doesn’t look that bad. The only thing I don’t like is the University Blue hits on the tongue.
