As part of a “city” series for S/S 2016, this New York City variation of the Air Jordan 10 is particularly highlighted, which will be followed by Los Angeles, Charlotte and Chicago iteration later on this year.

Initially scheduled to debut on April 23, the limited edition sneaker is now set to arrive almost a week later — Thursday, April 28th.

Revealed by sneaker retail chain, Finish Line, the model essentially sports a stealthy all-black profile and comprised of premium leather. Notable contrasting elements are evidenced by a golden “NYC” embroidery at the collar, pull tabs, Jumpman branding on the outsole and subtle speckling on its sole unit.

Exclusive variations of the Air Jordan 10 are revealed, which references the NBC drama ?Grimm,? featuring homicide detective Nick Burkhardt, who is tasked with protecting humanity from supernatural creatures.

In support of the show’s fundraising event — The Grimmster Endowment at OHSU Doernbecher Children?s Hospital, which provides children and families with critical financial support associated with uncompensated care, travel, lodging and other services integral to the care and comfort of its patients — two renditions of the AJ 10 have been created for the gala and upcoming eBay auctions.

Consisting of an all-black men?s version composed of ultra-premium leather with a herringbone collar lining, and a women?s pair in pristine white with a plush fur collar lining, the Doernbecher Foundation will auction four pairs of each ?Grimm? colorway. The auctions will begin at 9 a.m. PT on Friday, April 15, with bidding starting at $1,000 USD.

Additionally, there will be two pairs that have been signed by Tinker Hatfield and Michael Jordan on the left and right shoes, respectively. Bidding for these will start off at $2,000 USD.

NBC’s Grimm has teamed up with Nike, Tinker Hatfield, and the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for two unique renditions of the Air Jordan 10 Retro for charity, and they’ll be available beginning on April 15th exclusively through eBay auctions. Only four pairs of each colorway exist, but on top of those eight pairs, Nike will also auction one one pair each that feature the autographs of both Tinker and Michael Jordan. The bidding starts at $1,000 for the non-autographed pairs and $2,000 for the autographed pairs, and all proceeds will go toward the Grimmster Endowment at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. With the Summer Olympic Games to be held in Brazil this year, this next variation of the Air Jordan 10 essentially pays tribute to Rio de Janeiro — Brazil’s second most populous municipality, famed for its Copacabana and Ipanema beaches.

Flaunting tonal wolf grey across its pebbled leather upper, contrasting accents of obsidian adorn the tongue, eye stays, inner lining and sole unit. To emit a warmer vibe to evoke the South American country, as well as the nation’s flag, bright pops of photo blue and green glow are implemented on the outsole, which also displays a few highlights of MJ’s memorable achievements.

Other notable details include a “Rio” embroidery on the collar, which replaces the traditional 23 or 45.

Today we give you another look at a new colorway that combines White, Metallic Silver, Black and Hyper Turquoise throughout the shoe. The majority of this Melo M12 is done in White while Hyper Turquoise adds a nice pop of color by being placed on the heel, midsole, Melo branding on the tongue and on the laces. Black can then be seen on the tongue, midsole, heel, laces, and inner liner. The Jumpman logo on the midsole has been done in Metallic Silver for some added flash.

Earlier this week we found out that the Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin would be releasing next month on May 21st. This will mark the 2nd premium colorway of the Air Jordan 4 that will release in as many months as we saw the Air Jordan 4 Premium Black hit retailers last weekend.

In comparison to the Premium Black colorway, this pair definitely has more of a luxurious look to it thanks to the colors used on the upper. The Air Jordan 4 PRM Snakeskin features a snakeskin textured leather on the upper as well as premium tumbled leather on the tongue, toe, side panels, wings and inner liner. Light Bone, White, Pure Platinum and Wolf Grey can be seen throughout the shoe with bronze metal detailing appearing on the eyelets and heel tab.
