Here Is The Packaging The Air Jordan 11 Space Jam Will Come In
By SoleInsider
For all of you who care about the shoe’s packaging as much as the shoe itself, you’ll be happy to hear that the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam that’s releasing at the end of the year will come housed in special packaging.
Being that the shoe is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Space Jam the movie, Bugs Bunny graphics make their way to the packaging. Making it official is the Looney Tunes copyright to mark the partnership. The tissue paper comes with #45 on it, while galaxy print on the plastic interior lining and concord-colored shoe trees will also come with the shoe. The packaging (along with the shoe) will release to the public on December 17th for $220. On-Feet Images Of The Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue
By SoleInsider
If you’re still on the fence on whether or not you should pick up the Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue tomorrow then these new on-feet pictures may help you make a decision.
Sometimes picturing how a shoe would look on your feet can be the deciding factor on whether or not you cop. This Air Jordan 12 that makes its debut tomorrow features a Wolf Grey upper with White, University Blue and Midnight Navy accents. The colors on this Jordan 12 take inspiration from the school colors of North Carolina, which Michael Jordan attended before moving on to the NBA.
Check out the on-feet pictures above and let us know if you’ll cop or pass on these tomorrow. Visit and bookmark our official Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue launch page now for even more images, videos and release details.
This Holidays Air Jordan 11 Space Jam Brings Back The 45 (Video)
By SoleInsider
The Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is one of the most cherished and beloved sneakers of all-time. First appearing in the kid’s movie Space Jam starring Michael Jordan, the eponymous shoe is a time machine back to a simpler time. Oh, and it’s a really cool colorway of the Air Jordan 11 if that helps. Every time the shoe has released, sneakerheads and MJ fans have flocked to cop a pair and this year’s iteration will be no different as the movie celebrates it’s 20th anniversary. What will be different is the shoe itself, as it won’t be based on the shoe MJ wore in the movie, but rather the player exclusive Jordan wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs that features the 45 on the heel. Will that tiny little detail deter some purists from copping? Should this upcoming release be even called the Space Jam? Will sneakerheads even care?

Buy, Pass, Wait: Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack, New Foams, Dub Nation UA Curry 2.5
By SoleInsider
A little over a week ago the whole world was set to crown the Golden State Warriors back to back NBA champions, but the Cleveland Cavaliers managed the improbable comeback and spoiled Steph and Under Armour’s plans. The Cavs, LeBron James and Nike played spoiler to what was supposed to be a big weekend for Steph and UA, what with the release of the Under Armour Curry Two Back To Back MVP Pack and the Under Armour Curry 2.5 Dub Nation. Those kicks are still dropping and will still get plenty of attention (expect to see those Back to Back MVP Packs on eBay and Kixify as soon as they ship), but they’re sharing the spotlight with a few more releases, which we are covering in this weekend’ edition of Buy, Pass, Wait.
Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (Wait on the Trophy, Pass on the Confetti) I highly doubt I’ll be able to cop the Trophy for less than its $250 price tag, but on the outside chance that it bombs at retail and it drops in price, I can maybe see myself buying once it goes $200. Again, highly unlikely because there’s hype and people will cop these in the hopes of flipping them but I can hope, right? Oh, and there’s another colorway but like all confetti eventually, it’s a trip away from the trash for me.
(BTW, at this rate, we’ll be getting an Air Jordan 11 Championship Pack next year. Now who’s pumped for that?)
Andres Carrillo, News: (Pass On Both Pairs) Tell me these are $250 each again? Yeah, I don’t know either. I’m not a fan of the Air Jordan 8, but I’ll admit that this is probably the best Air Jordan Championship Pack so far.
Renz: (Wait) I think both offerings are nice but I’ll side more with the Champagne since I like the cleaner look and golden accents. Plus that price tag is too steep.
Juan Carrillo, News: (Wait on Trophy, Pass on Confetti) The Trophy colorway is infinitely better looking than the Confetti pair. I’m not really a fan of the 8s, but that’s a colorway I can see myself picking up. The fact that it’s priced at $250 makes it easier for me to pass on it. But if they drop under $180 somewhere down the line I’d consider getting the white pair. At $250, no way.
EIC Juan: (Wait) So these are different from the Electrolimes how? Ditching the translucent sole was a good idea for this release that was originally thought of as a Wu-Tang tribute, but since it has zero references to the Slums of Shaolin, I’ll wait for a price drop like most Foam releases lately.
Andres: (Pass) It takes a lot for a Foamposite to capture my attention and this colorway did. I’ve always loved the combination on black and yellow but I just can’t see myself wearing a pair of Foamposites.
Renz: (Pass) It’s one of my favorite b-ball silhouettes but the colorway is too bright for my current aesthetic. I do like it though. I probably would’ve been all-over it years ago though.
News Juan: (Pass) I love Yellow/Black sneakers. It even looks okay on this model (which I’m not a fan of). Only problem is that I’ve never owned any Foams in my life and don’t plan doing so at this stage in my life. It’s cool, but it’s not something I’d pick up.
Juan: (Pass) Finally a pair of 12s I feel like I can take a break on after copping virtually every other colorway this year. If this was the only Air Jordan 12 dropping this year, it would be a must-have to satisfy that need to have fresh 12s, but it’s a throwaway in 2016.
Andres: (Pass) Decent colorway of the Air Jordan 12 but I already bought the French Blues and Flu Games which I’m extremely happy with. These are just “meh.”
Renz: (Buy) I just like the two-tone finish a lot and it’s a pretty solid option for the summer rotation. I really would’ve preferred it minus the university blue accents.
News Juan: (Pass) There are so many 12s dropping this year, and this one doesn’t happen to stand out from the pack. I see nothing special or intriguing about this colorway. It’s a little bland to be honest. I’d rather pick up 6 or 7 other 12s from this year before I pick this one up.
adidas EQT ADV Support
adidas
EIC Juan: (Wait) adidas Originals continues their hot streak with this new take on the classic EQT line, but I’m going to wait until they drop some more colorways before I make a decision on which one to get. Hope the hype for these won’t be AlphaBOUNCE or NMD levels…
Andres: (Wait) I like the “old meets new” design on this EQT ADV Support. I’m not really a fan of the OG green colorway but I think this shoe has potential. It kind of reminds me of the Flyknit Racer, which is a good thing.
Renz: (Buy) I’m biased. I’ve been a fan of the silhouette and I like this refined look even more. The OG colorway is sweet but the ADV 910 in black/white is even sweeter.
News Juan: (Buy) The model is a perfect combination of classic and modern. I really like the what adidas is doing when it comes to modernizing and updating their EQT line. I need to get my hands on the pair coming in the OG colorway. Great job, adidas!
Under Armour Curry 2.5 Dub Nation
Under Armour
EIC Juan: (Pass) I was seeded a pair of the 2.5 a few weeks ago and they are fine for what they are, but I don’t feel the need to have more than one pair either to walk in or play ball in after trying them on.
Andres: (Pass) I wonder if people will still buy these after that disappointing NBA Finals loss. Under Armour should have released these before the Warriors took that L.
Renz: (Pass) I think that if the Warriors won the series, this might sell out. The colorway is pretty solid, but, I’m still not tempted in purchasing the silhouette.
News Juan: (Pass) Eh, I’ve yet to see a Curry sneaker that I feel like I need to own. This one is cool and all, but there’s nothing really special about it.
Check Out These On-Feet Images Of The Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack Confetti
By SoleInsider
How old were you when Michael Jordan won his 3rd NBA Championship back in 1993? I was only three years old so I have no memory of MJ at that time. It wasn?t until Michael was capturing his 2nd threepeat that I began to take notice.
Jordan Brand will be celebrating Michael Jordan?s 3rd NBA title tomorrow with the release of the Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack. The pack consists of two different colorways of the Air Jordan 8. Here we take a look at some on-feet pictures of the black pair which as you can see is inspired by confetti that typically rains down from the rafters during a championship celebration. Well unless you?re playing on the road that is. Tumbled and patent leather cover this Air Jordan 8 with confetti graphic appearing above the midsole, on the inner bootie and on the outsole.
Available tomorrow, do you plan on picking up a pair for the premium retail price of $250? Make sure to head over to our Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack to see more images, release information and other updates on this release.
This Is How The Air Jordan 12 Gym Red Looks Like On-Feet
By SoleInsider
While tomorrow we’ll be seeing the release of a new Air Jordan 12 colorway with the Grey/University Blue pair, next week we will also be seeing the debut of yet another Air Jordan 12.
Right on time for 4th of July we’ll be seeing this brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 12 arrive at retailers as a vibrant Gym Red tumbled leather drapes the majority of the upper with contrasting White accents landing on the mudguard, midsole, outsole, and the branding on the tongue and heel. The Chicago Bulls theme is then finished off with Black hits on the inner liner and the heel.
Releasing on July 2nd for $190, is this a must-cop or will you pass? Make sure to click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 12 Gym Red launch page now for more images, info and release details.
Super clean Air Jordan 12. The more I see this colorway the more I like it. I already picked up the Flu Games though so I’m gonna have to pass on these.

Will You Add This Tar Heels-Inspired Air Jordan 12 To Your Collection Tomorrow
By SoleInsider
Summer officially got underway this week and Jordan Brand is hoping for a big debut weekend as they’ll be releasing three different retros.
The first Air Jordan 12 of Summer 2016 will be this Wolf Grey/University Blue pair that you see above. Inspired by North Carolina, this Air Jordan 12 features a Wolf Grey leather on the upper with White, University Blue and Midnight Navy detailing adding contrast to the sneaker as well as completing the UNC theme.
You can pick up your pair at select JB retailers tomorrow for a retail price of $190. Full family sizing will also be available so you can lace up the entire family. Click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue launch page now for even more images, info and release details.
Take off the hits of University Blue and replace them with Midnight Navy and you have one of the best Air Jordan 12 colorways this year. Crazy how something so small can ruin a shoe for someone.
The Summer of the Air Jordan 12 Continues Tomorrow
By SoleInsider
It’s safe to say that 2016 is the biggest year for the Air Jordan 12 since it originally released in 1997, as a large number of colorways both new and old have hit the market?with even more to come. The latest look for the twelfth Air Jordan is the one dropping this weekend, featuring a clean Wolf Grey and white upper that many have nicknamed “UNC” thanks to the University Blue accents that are the same shade as MJ’s college squad. The all-new colorway hits Jordan Brand retailers tomorrow, June 25th.
Start Celebrating With the Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack Tomorrow
By SoleInsider
Let the celebration begin. The Air Jordan 8 “Championship Pack” hits the shelves tomorrow. Switching from a “Champagne and Cigar” theme like we’ve seen on the last two packs celebrating Michael Jordan’s sneakers from his first trio of titles, the Air Jordan 8, which he wore during the 1993 Bulls championship run, switches to “Confetti” for one colorway and ” Trophy” for the other. By now you’re probably well aware of what each model looks like, but just in case you need one last look, get it here and then pick up your favorite colorway (or both) at Jordan brand retailers like Wish ATL tomorrow.
Jordan Brand only has a handful or so of colorways that haven’t seen a proper retro, and the Air Jordan 14 “Oxidized” was one of them until the announcement that it will release on July 16th. When the Air Jordan 14 debuted in 1999, it had one of the more interesting approaches to colorways in Jordan signature history. There were ‘Bred’ options and the usual Chicago Bulls matching colorways, but the Oxidized Green and Air Jordan 14 “Indiglo” (also set for a return later this year) stood out from the pack thanks to unique accent colorways that weren’t prominent in the Jordan color palette. What do you think of this pair? Check out a brief preview below and stay tuned for more Jordan release dates right here on Sneaker News.
Release Reminder: Air Jordan 12 Grey/University Blue
By SoleInsider
This upcoming Air Jordan 12 will pay homage to MJ?s alma mater ? the University of North Carolina ? as it’s scheduled to make its official debut tomorrow.
White and grey essentially colors its premium tumbled leather upper and rubber sole unit, while the basketball sneaker is complemented with the defining hue across rear portion, pull tabs and miniature branded side panels. In addition, dark obsidian colors the inner lining for another touch of contrast.
Finished off with shiny metallic silver hits located on its upper eyelets, you can purchase the model at select JB and Nike retailers on Saturday, June 25th, for a retail price tag of $190.
The Air Jordan 12 has released in a number of solid colorways this year, and this is another great example. If only those blue-colored panels on the sides would be white instead, I?ll be all over it.

Additional Images Of The 2016 Air Jordan 11 Space Jam
By SoleInsider
In only six more months, the highly-coveted 2016 Air Jordan 11 Space Jam will make its debut, but, until then, here’s the latest images of the forthcoming silhouette.
As previously reported, the model is essentially a remastered OG variation that MJ first wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs. The classic Concord Jumpman on its heels and the number ?45? stitched on the back heel consists as notable details, in addition to bearing the original ?Nike Air? branded insoles.
Comprised of breathable mesh across its upper with tonal leather accents on the rear, a higher cut patent leather overlay is also evident, which mimics the original pair.
Priced at $220, you can find the sneaker at select JB and Nike retailers on Saturday, December 17.
Click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 11 Space Jam 2016 launch page now for more images, videos and release details.
I?m not that big fan of the higher placement of the patent leather overlay, but this one of my favorite sneakers ever. I?m just glad it?s being released again and hopefully in lots of quantities.
