The Air Jordan 12 continues to be celebrated in this year, as the model is previewed in another colorway, which is rumored to make its arrival this summer.

Flaunting a classic palette of white/grey and black, the color scheme is reminiscent of MJ’s days with the Birmingham Barons in 1994, which was essentially a minor league baseball team and Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox major-league club.

White and grey covers the majority of its leather composition, while touches of black are applied on the miniature side panels, upper eyelets, tongue, heel tabs and branding on the rear.

As you probably already know, this Air Jordan 10 is dressed in the same team colors as the Charlotte Hornets, the NBA franchise owned by Michael Jordan. White tumbled leather appears all along the upper of this sneaker with Blue Lagoon and Concord accents appearing on the tongue, laces, eyestay, ankle, outsole, heel pull tab, the Jumpman on the heel and the embroidered ?CHA? by the ankle. A Black inner liner completes the look on this Air Jordan 10.

The Air Jordan 12 Wings will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable Air Jordan releases of 2016. It was a highly coveted release for several reasons. Aside from Jordan Brand making it a limited release, just days before the shoe dropped they announced a major feature on the shoe that none of us knew about. Beneath the all-Black leather upper lies another layer covered in a Wings print dressed in Gold and Black. You have the option of wiping off the Black upper to reveal the Wings print on any part of the upper that you desire. This new feature on the shoe is definitely one of the main reasons the resell value us ridiculous.

Grabbing inspiration from that release is this Air Jordan 1 Wings custom. Artist, Pirate Robot redesigns the Air Jordan 1 High OG Cyber Monday to give it the exact same “Wings” look as the one you find on the 12s. Instead of covering the entire shoe in the Wings print, Pirate Robot strategically places it on on different areas of the shoe to create some nice color blocking on the shoe. Just imagine if Jordan Brand had released these in the same manner that the 12s were released. Can you imagine the hype they would get?!
