Looking similar to the checkered pattern on the interior of the original Air Jordan 10 but not quite the same, this latest all-new colorway for the Air Jordan 1 Mid features a unique v-shaped motif on its inner lining. The rest of the color scheme is also not quite like anything we’ve seen on the Air Jordan 1, as it features a Wolf Grey upper with black faccents and metallic silver Swooshes for an overall look that does seem reminiscent of the OG “Steel” Air Jordan 10. Whether that was the intention or not, we can’t be sure, but if you like what you see, you can grab a pair now from select Jordan Brand retailers like Rock City Kicks.

The Jordan Eclipse has been on a hiatus as of late, right!? That’s soon about to change as we recently came across this lively rendition of the model. If you’re looking for a shoe with some pop to it, this could very well be the one.

Coming in an all-mesh construction, the shoe dons an Infrared 23 mesh on the toe, tongue and lining. It is then contrasted by the White mesh placed on the side panels and heel. The sole comes in White covered in Infrared 23 speckles. While even more of the same bold hue is found on the laces and pull tab. Lastly, a bit of Metallic Gold takes care of the Jumpman on the heel to help give the shoe some added “oomph”. Available internationally, we will let you know when these arrive stateside.

The Charlotte Observer recently reported that MJ has donated $500,000 in charities working with literacy in Charlotte. Along with the $500,000 donation, Michael Jordan and the other contributing partners will also cover the cost of building and stocking 18 libraries with books at preschools, child care centers, community centers and education nonprofits in the city?s low-income areas.

?When I took over majority control of the team, one of the biggest impacts I wanted … was to reconnect back to the community,? Jordan told hundreds of volunteers gathered Monday at Time Warner Cable Arena for the day of service. ?I felt (that connection) was lost a little bit with the previous ownership, and I felt it was very important. Six years later, here we are. … I am very proud of the commitment of the organization to the community. … My dedication, my drive, is to continue to connect with this community.”

Since becoming majority owner of the Hornets, Jordan and the team have given away more than $3 million for causes related to education, hunger, wellness and the military.

The new Jordan Trainer ST is scheduled to receive more colorways that’s suited for the warm season, as it’s showcased in white/infrared.

Comprised of a fused jacquard knit textile for its composition, an elephant pattern is intertwined and focalized on the toe box and tongue for exotic flair. Reinforced with a lightweight synthetic perforated side panels, additional elements include a translucent TPU overlay on the heel that promotes more protection.

Pops of infrared adorn the outsole, Jumpman logo across its rear and tongue to finish it all off.
