The Air Jordan 5 is back in a new grade school exclusive for Summer 2016. Mike’s fifth signature silhouette is in the process of transitioning into a premium lifestyle model thanks to additions like a Gold and Copper patent leather tongue. While those looks will hold down those of you fitting into an adult size run, the Jumpman doesn’t want to leave the kid’s hanging with this tonal “Wolf Grey” colorway. A couple of months from now we’ll be seeing the release of the Air Jordan 5 Bronze in order to celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. Before we can actually get our hands on a pair, let’s take a look at some new images of the shoe.

This brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 features a premium Obsidian smooth leather upper with contrasting hits of White landing on the midsole. What gives this colorway its name are the touches of Metallic Red Bronze that appear on the tongue, lace lock, and the shark teeth on the midsole. The blue leather upper is really nice and so are the bronze shark teeth, but what I don’t like is the patent leather tongue. I think these will be a pass for me.

The Jordan Reveal is one of those new silhouettes that Jordan Brand has created which many people haven’t payed too much attention to because unless it’s a retro it gets overlooked. That’s just the harsh reality.

A new colorway of the JB lifestyle silhouette has emerged and it features a graphic mesh upper done in black and white that looks like smoke. Additional black accents have been added on the leather tongue, inner liner, laces, and the leather heel counter. Finishing things off are more hits of white on the sole unit, and the Jumpman logos on the tongue and ankle.

Jordan Brand recently unveiled a brand new model. Labeled as a training sneaker, the Jordan Trainer 1 was recently shown in a Black colorway. Today we take a look at the brand new Red and White colorway.

The Jordan Trainer 1 comes in a Red jacquard upper covered in a tonal elephant print. The jacquard construction is combined with the neoprene inner collar that also comes in the same Red hue. Black hits appear on the Jumpman on the side panels, as well as on the hidden Flywire. A White midsole and translucent outsole round out the main features on the shoe. Said to be dropping in the near future, what are your thoughts on the newest model coming out of Jordan Brand.

Are any of you out there fans of the Doernbecher x Nike Freestyle Collection. Many people are, especially of the Air Jordans that release every year. Earlier this month we found out that the Doernbecher Freestyle auction will take place in Portland, Oregon on October 28th, 2016 as well as met the patients who will be designing the sneakers.  We still don’t know what silhouettes will be included in this year’s collection but we’re eager to find out.

Recently MLB player Adam Jones of the Baltimore Orioles was able to complete the Air Jordan Doernbecher collection. He was on the hunt for the Air Jordan 5 Doernbecher and was able to add it to his collection after a long hunt. “The shoe will never get made again, so I look at it as I’m blessed to be able to throw money away like that,” he said. “I’m just blessed to find a passion. I like shoes. I like Jordans, so, hey, it’s all part of it.”

It took Jones four years and a shoe-sleuthing crew of 10 people to complete the extraordinary and special collection. Do any of you own the entire Air Jordan Doernbecher Collection?

This forthcoming variation of the Air Jordan 5 is noted to celebrate the 2016 Summer Olympics, although it’s official release date will be long after the summer games in Rio are over.

While it evokes the celebratory medals given in award ceremonies, in particular, third place, the bronze element is prominent on the tongue and signature shark teeth element on its midsole. Comprised of leather and synthetics across its upper with a slight sheen for additional flair, the sneaker is topped off with a clean, white midsole unit and translucent icy blue outsole.

The year of the Air Jordan 12 continues this weekend with the release of the Air Jordan 12 Alternate, which is a reimagining of the Air Jordan 12 for the modern era when signature athletes had all sorts of player exclusives. We’ve already seen precedents of this theme earlier this year with the Air Jordan 4 Alternate and the Air Jordan 2 Alternate, but unlike those two, people will actually want to cop this new Air Jordan 12. About the only thing stopping this upcoming from being a major hit across is the fatigue of too many 12s already dropping this year with the potential of more to come.

But since this is NBA 2K Kicks, let’s take a look at what MJ would have looked like wearing the Air Jordan 12 Alternate by featuring him in the famous pinstripe alternate version of the Chicago Bulls jersey. Since we are already familiar with MJ wearing the 12s in either the Taxi or Cherry colorways, it was a little jarring to see even the digital version in what is essentially a flip version of the Cherrys.
