Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate (Olympic)

Release Date: August 6, 2016
Price: $190

To coincide with the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (August 5 – 21), an alternate iteration of the iconic Air Jordan 7 Olympic is scheduled to be offered.

Designed by Nike designer extraordinaire, Tinker Hatfield, this particular colorway slight differs from its predecessor. While compared to its original counterpart, hits of blue are more prominent across its underlays. Comprised of premium leather, the overall aesthetic is essentially filled with patriotic flair. Pristine white dominates the upper, as navy-colored nubuck is utilized for its underlays, in addition to more applied on the ankle portion and outsole.

To encapsulate the USA-inspired palette, vibrant pops of red adorn the midsole unit more prominently, while additional accents are applied on the heel and inner lining. Finishing touches of metallic gold are seen on the tongue label, lace tips and jumpman logo across the ankle to coordinate with its respective theme.

Latest News:

Renz Ofiaza, News: I like the original version better. The colorway is still appealing, but I prefer the all-white upper instead. It should still get a lot of attention none the less.

A bevy of images featuring the Air Jordan 6 Black Cat have released recently, as this latest gallery now showcases the silhouette in natural lighting.

Emphasizing the sneaker’s stealthy profile comprised of blacked leather with enlarged perforations to promote sufficient ventilation, the model also receives subtle pops of contrast with white gracing the midsole unit, underlays and Jumpman branding — unlike the all-black AJ 3 and AJ 4 renditions. Additionally, a graphic of its respective theme is prominently located on the insoles to round out its design.

Priced at $190, the sneaker is suggested to make its debut at select Nike and JB retailers on New Year?s Eve, December 31st, 2016.

A Preview Of The Air Jordan 3 Wool

Air Jordan 3 Air Jordan 3 1

We previously reported this past March 2016 that an Air Jordan 3 Wool is in the works, and now, a sneak peek at that purported pair has surfaced online.

Suggested to be in this year?s Holiday 2016 lineup that also features the AJ 3 Cyber Monday, the iconic basketball silhouette has essentially been revamped with more lifestyle flair and functionality. Dark grey-colored wool covers the model’s upper, which simply provides more warmth during the colder months ahead.

Finally, a sail white rubber sole unit finishes off the simple two-tone design.

This pair is reportedly arriving at select JB and Nike stockists on December 17th for a retail price of $200.

A Bronze Medal Air Jordan 1 Is Also Up For Grabs

Did you know that the Silver Medal and Gold Medal colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High weren’t the only pairs that released? Jordan Brand also released a colorway inspired by the bronze medal that hasn’t been getting as much love.

The bronze medal-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 1 features a Black leather upper with Infrared 23 accents on the Jumpman on the tongue and a White sole unit. What highlights this pair of course are the hits of Metallic Red Bronze that appear on the Swoosh and Wings branding on the side panels.

If you’re feeling this Air Jordan 1 then you can buy a pair right now directly from nike.com for a retail price of $140.

Author’s Take

My second favorite colorway behind the gold medal pair. If that Infrared Jumpman on the tongue were done in bronze these would have been even better.

The Latest Images Of The Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue

Air Jordan 3 1 Air Jordan 3 2 Air Jordan 3 3 Air Jordan 3 4 Air Jordan 3 5 Air Jordan 3 6

For those of you patiently waiting for the Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue to drop, we have the latest images of the shoe to help hold you over until November 25th arrives. Definitely one of the most highly anticipated Jordan retros of the year, let’s get a closer look at the shoe.

The Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue is done in a White leather upper offset by the hits of True Blue and Red placed throughout the shoe. Helping this colorway stand out from the rest of the OG colorways of the 3s is the use of elephant print found not only on the toe and heel, but also on the eyestay of the shoe. This remastered version will come with the beloved Nike Air branding on the heel and insoles, while the Jumpman remains true to form on the tongue. Another subtle change people are taking notice of is the Red lining, some people like it, some people don’t, some people don’t think it’s a big deal. Set to drop on November 25th for $220, be sure you visit our Nike Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue (Black Friday 2016) hub page for the latest info and images of this upcoming release.

Author’s Take

One of my favorite models/colorways of all time. I have a pair with the Jumpman on the heel, it’s in okay condition. I’m still debating on whether or not it’s worth paying $220 for Nike on the heel. It may go down to the wire.

Introducing The Air Jordan 1 High Deconstructed

What you see above is the Air Jordan 1 High Deconstructed. What exactly does that mean, and what is it doing on the Air Jordan 1? In case you haven’t noticed, times are changing, and although the Air Jordan 1 High in its original build is good as is, many of us are more than open to seeing the iconic classic in a different build, at least I am.

This version of the Jordan 1 is classified as deconstructed because the “construction” of the upper has no paneling or layering. In addition, if you take a look at the inside you will find that it also comes with no paneling, sort of like the original Chuck Taylor All-Star. What you end up getting is a minimal-looking, suede-constructed Air Jordan 1. From the pictures provided, it appear as if the Air Jordan 1 sole remains untouched. Two colorways have already been unveiled- off-White and Black. Thoughts on the Nike branded Air Jordan 1? I’m curious to see what you guys think. As of right now, expect these to drop sometime in the Fall/Winter of this year.

Author’s Take

I’m on the fence. It looks like it has potential, but I’ll reserved my judgement until I see more pictures of the shoe.
