Not only will the Air Jordan 6 be releasing in a new Hare colorway in 2017, but it’ll also be getting the chameleon treatment.

Expected to debut in February of 2017, this colorway of the Air Jordan 6 features a black leather upper that possesses iridescent qualities much like a chameleon does. It?s being said that the upper rubs off in similar fashion as the Air Jordan 12 Wings that released earlier this year. Additional details include iridescent detailing on the aglets and midsole, a translucent outsole, and 3M hits on the perforations on the upper.

Will this be a cop or drop for you come 2017? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more images and release details.

This Is What Happens When You Put Together Bape And The Air Jordan 1

Bape 1 Bape 2 Bape 3

Earlier this year sneaker customizer Jack The Ripper created a pretty crazy custom with with the Air Jordan 3 Kobe PE that was covered in python.

Now for the Fall he’s back with another creation that brings together two sneakers to make one. Essentially a “What If” turned into reality, Jack The Ripper created a Bape x Air Jordan 1 with a completely reconstructed red and black bape camo upper. Other details include deer lining and custom Bape tags.

What are your thoughts on the Bape x Air Jordan 1 mash up by Jack The Ripper? Make sure you keep up with Jack to stay up to date with his latest creations.

Author’s Take

I’m not a fan of Bape, but these look pretty cool since I do love the Air Jordan 1. Great job by Jack!

Check How The 2016 Air Jordan 11 Space Jam Differs From The 2009 Release

Air Jordan 11 1 Air Jordan 11 Air Jordan 11 2 Air Jordan 11 3 Air Jordan 11 4 Air Jordan 11 5 Air Jordan 11 6 Air Jordan 11 7 Air Jordan 11 8 Air Jordan 11 9 Air Jordan 11 10

The highly-anticipated 2016 Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is slightly different from previous retro iterations, as this latest gallery showcases its comparison to the 2009 counterpart.

With the 2016 version essentially staying true to its OG build, in which MJ first wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs, the sneaker’s notable differential elements consists of a higher cut black patent leather overlay which encompasses the upper, classic Concord Jumpman branding located at the rear, in addition to the number ?45? stitched on the back heel. Furthermore, the 2016 edition will be packaged in a Looney Tunes themed box with special cartoon graphics to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary.

Priced at $220, you can purchase this standout pair at select JB and Nike retailers on Saturday, December 17.

Author’s Take

I?m not that big fan of the higher placement of the patent leather overlay, but, this one of my favorite sneakers ever. I?m just glad it?s being released again and hopefully in lots of quantities.

The Air Jordan 6 Chameleon Drops Next Year

Air Jordan 6 Air Jordan 6 2 Air Jordan 6 1

More preview images of the forthcoming Air Jordan 6 Chameleon continue to be unveiled, as this silhouette is suggested to make its official debut next year.

As the moniker suggests, the basketball sneaker?s defining aesthetic is essentially found across its stealthy black leather upper which incorporates an iridescent finish that shifts in colors. It’s suggested that this defining element is achieved when rubbed off, a prominent feature that was first found on the Air Jordan 12 Wings. Other notable details include 3M reflective accents, iridescent lace tips and a clear translucent outsole.

Expect this model to arrive at select Nike and JB stockists starting February 2017.

Author’s Take

I like the iridescent upper and this blacked-out profile is a crowd pleaser. If the upper does rub off, it?ll be interesting what it reveals. Nonetheless, this should garner a lot of attention.

Another Look At The Air Jordan 6 Hare

Air Jordan 6 1 Air Jordan 6 Air Jordan 6 4 Air Jordan 6 5 Air Jordan 6 2 Air Jordan 6 3

Additional images of the forthcoming Air Jordan 6 Hare continue to be featured, as this latest gallery consists as the cleanest presentation yet.

Inspired by the classic bugs bunny-inspired AJ 7 Hare, the basketball sneaker is treated in a pristine finish of white with light grey accents across its leather and nubuck-based upper. The signature multicolor carrot inspired zig-zagging pattern detailing prominent on the AJ 7, has not been implemented on this design. Instead, bright tonal red is utilized for the tongue, perforated heel, midsole unit and portions of the outsole. to round out its design.

In addition, 1991 is stitched behind the tongue to represent the year that the Air Jordan 6 first released.

Suggested to retail for $190, you can expect this model to debut at select Nike and JB retailers in March 2017.

Author’s Take

I would?ve preferred it more with the multicolor detailing on the tongue. This variation look solid though, I like the colors utilized and their placement.

This particular version comes in a leather and suede upper done in a Black and Camo motif. UNDFTD Vibes On This Air Jordan 31 Custom

Mache Customs is at it again. For his latest creation he got his hands on the brand new Mache Customs. The best part about this custom is that it doesn’t even look like a custom, it actually looks like a shoe that could be released by Jordan Brand. Although the custom has no official name, it’s easy to see where the inspiration came from, so let’s just call it what it is, the Air Jordan 31 UNDFTD.

Grabbing inspiration from the Air Jordan 4 x UNDFTD collab, the shoe was initially the Jordan 31 Shattered Backboard but it was transformed into the beauty you see above. The Green upper is nicely contrasted by the existing Black and Orange hits placed throughout the shoe. The end result is just amazing. As an added bonus, Mache went ahead and placed the UNDFTD logo on the heel to give it that final touch. Want a pair? Head on over to his site and make your request.

How The Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday Looks On Your Feet

The Air Jordan 3 “Cyber Monday” isn’t actually releasing on Cyber Monday, but that premium, high-contrast Black/White colorway is the perfect way to bring back the Air Jordan 3 retro for the first time in over two years. Jordan Brand is finally unlocking the vault to the famed third installment of Michael Jordan’s signature series, and you don’t have to wait much longer as the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday will arrive at retailers this Saturday, October 15th for $190 USD.

It’s been quite some time since we last saw the Air Jordan III. Since the AJ3’s last appearance, Jordan Brand has launched their Remastered program dedicated to upping the quality craftsmanship of the brand’s retro releases as well as launched premium $400 Pinnacle renditions of some of our favorite models. While the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday skips out on the famed elephant print this time around, it does make up for it with a premium tumbled leather base, micro perforations on the ankle collar, and a smooth mudguard to differentiate the monochromatic upper’s numerous panels. A stark white midsole and outsole unit contrasts for that signature Cyber Monday aesthetic.

Check out more on-feet photos of the upcoming Jordan 3 Cyber Monday below and grab your pair this Saturday, October 15th from select retailers like Titolo.

Just like the iconic Air Jordan 1 Bred/Banned that dropped not too long ago, this colorway of Westbrook’s lifestyle sneaker also comes rocking the classic Black and Red motif. Done in a suede construction, the shoe comes in predominantly Black, with the Red acting as the accented colorway. In addtion to the Black and Red, there are also minimal hits of Metallic Gold to help give the shoe a nice bold touch. Lastly, an all-White sole unit can be seen below. No exact release date, but do expect them to drop during the next couple of weeks.

Author’s Take

No matter what colorway the shoe comes, it’s probably not going to change my opinion on it. I’m just not a fan of the shoe, plain and simple. Such a shame since Westbrook is such a dope player.
