Set to debut next weekend, official images of the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday is finally revealed. this time showcasing a comparison between the AJ 1 from last year, which is rendered in the same theme.

Suggested to coincide with the Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday, this pair takes cues from last year’s AJ 1, as it’s draped in a simplistic two-tone finish. The sneaker’s smooth and textured leather upper is rendered in black, while it?s juxtaposed atop a clean white rubber sole unit.

Finishing details include a Jumpman branded patch on the rear treated in a matte finish, alongside classic Jumpman embroidery adorning the tongue and insoles.

Priced at $190, you can purchase this pair at select JB and Nike retailers on October 15th.

I?m biased towards the silhouette and even though it looks somewhat boring, the colorway is a classic. I?m not really into it that much yet, but, I?ll still probably purchase since it?s a simple and clean offering.

Russell Westbrook will be inducted into the 2016 Oklahoma Hall of Fame next month and the explosive superstar from the Oklahoma City Thunder will be presented by none other than the greatest of all-time, Michael Jordan.

Westbrook selected MJ as his presenter due to the relationship that they have since Russell joined Jordan Brand back in 2012 and the inspirational figure that he has become.

?We are truly excited to have Michael Jordan presenting Russell Westbrook, and we are equally fortunate to have a full slate of accomplished presenters joining us at this year?s ceremony,? said Shannon L. Rich, president and CEO of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and Gaylord-Pickens Museum. ?They provide us a meaningful opportunity to celebrate this year?s inductees and forward our mission of telling Oklahoma?s story through its people.?

The 89th Oklahoma Hall of Fame Banquet & Induction Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.

Russell, you are now permanently cemented into Oklahoma lore. The OKC Thunder star, who signed a max extension after Kevin Durant bolted for the Golden State Warriors, will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall Of Fame, and it will be Michael Jordan who will do him the honor when the ceremony takes place on November 17th. Westbrook is being recognized not only for his basketball talents, but for his Why Not? Foundation, his Russell’s Reading Rooms initiatives, and other philanthropic efforts in the OKC community. On MJ being the one inducting him into the Oklahoma Hall, Russell says that “It really means a lot to me that he’s going to be there, and it’s something that I definitely don’t take for granted”. MJ’s attendance is indeed key, since he wasn’t even in Michigan for the unveil of the basketball uniforms!

It’s crazy to think that Jordan Brand put the Air Jordan 3 in the vaults for over two years, but that’s exactly what happened. A lot has changed for the Jumpman in that timeframe as well, with their premium Remastered program upping the quality and price on retro releases while an onslaught of $400 retros featuring luxurious Pinnacle constructions has proven to be a hit as well. The Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday marks the end of the AJ3 hiatus with a simple yet effective colorway sure to be a fan favorite.

The Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday skips over the expected elephant print from this 1988 Tinker Hatfield gem, and instead opts for a smooth tumbled leather throughout. There’s no ‘Nike Air’ branding like the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” retro, but given this pair’s new status that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Nike hosted their retail summit for a number of the world’s leading retail shop figureheads this week at their World Headquarters, unveiling some awesome displays that clued their guests in on what could be next for the seasons ahead. Not only did the Swoosh showcase the infamous letter Michael Jordan received from the NBA for his original Air Jordan 1 “Banned”, but displays also featured the Nike Blazer, original ads, and upcoming Nike Air Max 1 retros. New imagery of this special edition Solefly x Air Jordan 23 is showcased once more, as the sneaker’s vibrant palette is inspired by the MLB?s Florida Marlins and their first World Series victory in 1997 against the Cleveland Indians.

Covered entirely in seafood green, notable details such as the number ?23? are on the right tongue and ?SF? for SoleFly on the left tongue. Equipped with a Black nubuck throughout the majority of the upper, a camo print in green, black and brown can be seen on the side panel overlays, heel and tongue for a nice contrast.
