The Air Jordan 13 Was Actually Inspired By A Black Cat

Tinker Hatfield’s Air Jordan 13 design was inspired by the Black Cat, an alter ego that MJ himself embodied early on in his career. Like MJ, the black cat is the ultimate predator as it combines speed and stealth with a killer instinct that no other player in history has displayed. In fact, the nickname was given to him by other players in the league, which only attests to just how lethal MJ was. This January 2017, Jordan Brand is finally recalling the roots of the AJ13 with a straightforward all-black look, with the lone exception being the jewel on the heel (which represents the eyes of the cat). This “Black Cat” is set for a release on

Still feenin’ for some more Air Jordan 3s? Did you pick up the Jordan 3 Cyber Monday but still want some more? Don’t worry, Jordan Brand will soon be releasing another never before seen colorway/construction on the shoe, I’m talking about the Air Jordan 3 Wool.

The Air Jordan 3 Wool is done in an all-wool upper, similar to the Air Jordan 12 Wool we saw now too long ago. Done in a dark shade of Grey, the shoe gets a tonal look by also having the laced, branding and lining done in the same color scheme. Adding some shapr contrast to the shoe is the Sail colored sole unit placed below. An ideal look and construction for the Winter season, you will be able to pick up a pair of the Jordan 3 Will on December 17th for the retail price of $200. Hot or not? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

Just like the Jordan 12 Wool, I like the shoe and its new look. I just don’t see myself wearing it very often. I’d rather save my $200 and spend it on a pair I can place on my rotation with no hesitation.
