Up next to get a release date is the Air Jordan 12 Low Playoff. Looking essentially the same as the original mid/high top version, this Air Jordan 12 features a full leather upper done in Black with White detailing landing on the mudguard, outsole, and branding. Pops of Varsity Red are then seen on the branding on the tongue and heel as a finishing touch.

The long-awaited Air Jordan 11 Space Jam finally made its debut yesterday. If you were prepared and ready for the release, you were probably able to get yourself a pair. If you decided to sleep in and waited an hour or two, there’s a good chance you missed out on one of the most anticipated Jordan Brand releases of the year. Damn.

What really amazes me is the fact that the sold-out (adult sizes) Air Jordan 11 Space Jam was such a success not just in North America, but all over the world as well.

Take for example Germany-based retailer, BSTN. Not only did they have a full-size run in-store for the whole family, they also decided to go the extra mile and convert their entire store into a Space Jam galore! From the giant Space Jam posters in the front of the store, to the Space Jam apparel complimenting the Air Jordan 11, to the sick Space Jam-themed lighting and displays all over the store, BSTN was definitely the place to be if you’re an Air Jordan 11 Space Jam fanatic.

Seeing retailers do stuff like this all over the world makes you realize how much of an impact Jordan Brand continues to have on the consumers on a worldwide level. No matter how many times this shoe has released and in what quantity or price it retails for, people will still go crazy over them time and time again. Amazing.

Jordan Brand has added another great talent to their football roster as Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is now part of the family.

Reed was one of five NFL players to join Jordan Brand this season, the others being Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate, Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis, Cleveland Browns rookie wide receiver Corey Coleman and Jacksonville Jaguars rookie safety Jalen Ramsey. They join a roster of high-caliber NFL athletes already endorsed by Jordan Brand, including Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas.

Here’s what Reed had to say about joining the Jumpman family:

?It means a lot, man,? Reed said. ?Growing up looking up to [Michael Jordan] and things like that, now I?m sponsored by his brand. That?s a big thing and a big deal to me, at least.?

Reed has been a part of Jordan Brand since September when he signed right before the season opener.

The 2016 Heisman award winner was announced yesterday as University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson received the award that is given to the most outstanding player in college football.

Jabrill Peppers was one of the finalists who attends a Jordan Brand-sponsored school, Michigan. Before the winner was crowned, Jordan Brand presented Peppers with a custom pair of brand new Space Jam 11s that features lasered logos on the heel, and special lace dubraes. The shoes were also housed in a special box that pays homage to Michigan?s previous Heisman winner, Charles Woodson. Watch the video below as Peppers unboxes the sneakers for the first time.

The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air will be returning in a handful of new colorways. If you’re looking to pick up a pair that has an OG feel to it, take a look at this brand colorway that has the model done in a Black and White color scheme.

Rocking the same color scheme and color blocking as the OG Black and White Jordan 1, this Rare Air version trades in the Nike Air branding on the tongue in favor of the Jumpman, and replaces the Wings branding on the collar in exchange for “AIR JORDAN” branding done in bold White lettering. Not pictured is the Nike Air branding on the heel. Blending in nicely with the upper is the White and Black found on the midsole/outsole. Expect these to drop early next year.

Jordan Brand has plenty of releases many of us are looking forward to in 2017. Today we also got word that the Jordan Son Of Mars is also making a return next year! One of Jordan Brand most recent and craziest hybrids returns to the spotlight after sitting on the sidelines for quite some time. The first color to leak is this brand new Black and Metallic Silver offering. Let’s get a closer look.

For those of you not too familiar with the Jordan Son Of Mars, it’s essentially a mash-up of a handful of Jordans put together to create a brand new design. This particular colorway is done in an all-Black leather upper, including the elephant print, the perforated panels, and even the lasered cross-strap. Black and Metallic Silver take care of the midsole, all while sitting on top of a Blue translucent outsole. Like what you see? Expect these to drop on January 1st for $160.

This Air Jordan 11 Low Barons consists as the next iteration of the classic basketball silhouette, which is expected to make its debut next year.

Reminiscent of MJ?s days with the Birmingham Barons in 1994 — a minor league baseball team and Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox major-league club — the model dons a subdued color palette of black, metallic silver and white.

The sneaker?s defining element is focalized on its patent leather overlays, rendered in ash grey, while tonal black nubuck comprises the remainder of its upper. Closing out the 2016 Heiress Collection, this Air Jordan 11 features a Night Maroon upper in a combination of premium nubuck leather and velvet. The Air Jordan 1 Mid is not as popular as the OG High, or even the Low, but Jordan Brand continues to create and release new colorways.

One of the latest that will be closing out the year is this Sequoia colorway. Covered in a predominantly suede upper, leather overlays are then seen on the ankle and midfoot. Max Orange lands on the Jumpman logo with a white sole unit capping things off.

Look for this Sequoia colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid to release at Jordan Brand retailers in the near future.

The Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is certainly one of the most coveted silhouettes from Jordan Brand’s historic lineage.

With its official release today, one man in Louisville couldn’t wait this past Wednesday, as he decided to smash his car through a retailer — City Gear — and steal a large quantity of the highly-sought after silhouette, in addition to other Air Jordans according to a detective.

Although no injuries were reported, a large hole is gaping on the wall of the building with debris scattered throughout.

Just like the Air Jordan 12 Wool that dropped not too long ago, this version of the Air Jordan 3 is done using the same type of construction. The all-wool design takes care of the entire upper, including the Jumpman branding on the heel and tongue. The same hue is found on both the laces and lining to help give the shoe a tonal look, kind of like the Cyber Monday 3s. Also like the Cyber Monday 3s, this 3 comes without its signature elephant print on the upper, instead opting for a more sleek and minimal look. Lastly, an off-White sole unit is placed below to create some form of contrast and clean things up a bit. The shoe will release on December 17th for the retail price of $200. The Air Jordan 1 has had an awesome run the past few years with a number of OG colorways returning to store shelves accompanied by some rather surprising new looks (think the “Shattered Backboards” and “Top Three” looks).
