Jordan And Converse To Release Two-Pair Pack In June

Jordan Brand and Converse are scheduled to release their first-ever two-pair Pack on June 28th, 2017. Michael Jordan’s history with the Converse brand goes back before his professional playing days; he hit the legendary NCAA Championship-winning shot in the pair of Pro Leathers, and Converse even joined with Jordan to release a super-limited run of the UNC-colored Pro Leathers via auction back in 2012 as a 30th Anniversary celebration of that performance.

While it is unclear what Air Jordan shoe is part of this set, it is most likely being paired with the Converse Pro Leather. J23app, a reliable source for Air Jordan release info, suggests it may be the Air Jordan 2 “Alumni Game” PE that surfaced not long ago. Stay tuned for updates.

The Air Jordan 11 Low IE Is Returning In Navy

The last time we saw the Air Jordan 11 Low IE was in a “Referee” edition and summer 2017, the model is expected to make its return in a brand new colorway of navy. Basically a more casual and lighter edition of the iconic Air Jordan 11, this edition is made of a mixture of leather and suede accents, which is free from the classic patent leather makeup. The tonal upper is complemented by a crisp white midsole and translucent outsole to cap off the two-tone design altogether.

A release date for the Air Jordan 11 Low IE Navy has not been announced yet, but rumors are pointing for summer 2017. Keep it locked to KicksOnFire for more updates and its official reveal.

An Air Jordan 3 OG Retro Black Cement Release Is Rumored To Happen Early 2018

Arguably the best Air Jordan ever created, it is now being rumored that the Air Jordan 3 OG Retro Black Cement could be getting the retro treatment early next year.

According to @soleheatonfeet on Twitter, the Air Jordan 3 OG Black Cement will be making a return in OG fashion as “Nike Air” branding will be present on the heel. Nike Air branding on the Black Cement 3s hasn’t been a thing since 2001, so it’s safe to say this will be a highly sough after release. Instead of asking whether this is a cop or not, the better question would be is this worthy of a double-up? Early reports suggest that we could see this Air Jordan 3 Black Cement OG retro release as early as February during NBA All Star Weekend. Stay tuned as more info begins to surface.

Air Jordan 11 Low Frost White Releasing In May

air-jordan-11-low-frost-white

The Jordan 11 Low UNC might have been the best patent leather low-top retro in quite some time from Jordan Brand, but it goes to show that the Jumpman not only looks to revitalize old classics but that they’re also willing to experiment. That’s where this new Air Jordan 11 Low colorway, nicknamed the Jordan 11 Low Frost White, comes in. It’s a GS exclusive and ditches the patent leather entirely for a synthetic croc-skin or python mudguard that’s not entirely Elephant Print in nature but definitely has the overall aesthetic of the famed Tinker Hatfield pattern that was first introduced on the Air Jordan 3. These all-white Jordan 11 Lows also feature a dash of red on the tongue branding for a slight contrast. What do you think of the Jordan 11 Low Frost White? Stay tuned for more detailed photos to come in the near future and be sure to head over to our always-updated Jordan Release Dates page for a better look at the coming Spring/Summer 2017 Jumpman offerings.

Pope John Francis Gets Air Jordan 5 Michigan PE From Coach Jim Harbaugh

Pope John Francis was blessed with some special gifts from Michigan Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh, who got the chance to meet the Pope in person after a service earlier today. Included in this gift set was a Michigan Wolverines helmet with the number 266, denoting John Francis as the 266th Pope in history, as well as a pair of the Air Jordan 5 “Michigan” PE in navy and yellow. No word on if the Pope listed them on eBay or on the GOAT App (just kidding).

A Modern Day Guide To The Air Jordan 13 By Stadium Goods

Stadium Goods showcases the rich history of one of the most beloved Air Jordans ever with a Modern Day Guide to the Air Jordan 13. New York’s favorite new sneaker shop presents their new feature on the thirteenth Air Jordan by photographing a few of the most celebrated colorways, including four OG looks and two of the most coveted retro versions of the panther-inspired silhouette ever. See the story of each of the six famous Air Jordan 13’s below, and visit the Stadium Goods Journal for a look at even more colorways of the shoe.

Air Jordan 13 White/True Red/Black

Link to buy: Air Jordan 13 CDP
The debut colorway of the Air Jordan 13 that released in 1997, the original white, black, and red Air Jordan 13 is no doubt one of the most iconic looks for the shoe. In addition to being worn on court by Michael during the 1997-98 season, the colorway earned a place in film history, as well, after being featured in Spike Lee’s landmark basketball film He Got Game. The pair pictured here is from the Countdown Pack of 2008.

Air Jordan 13 White/True Red

Link to buy: Air Jordan 13 White/Red 2010
The original “Home” colorway of the Air Jordan 13 was also worn by Michael throughout his final season with the Bulls, and is the most recent OG colorway to retro after dropping again this February.

Air Jordan 13 “Bred”

Link to buy: Air Jordan 13 “Bred” 2013
Like any Air Jordan model from the Bulls era, there had to be a black and red version of the Air Jordan 13, and these definitely didn’t disappoint. Featuring red suede details and a reflective-backed mesh paneling on the upper, these are a favorite OG colorway of many when it comes to the Air Jordan 13.

Air Jordan 13 “Flint”

Link to buy: Air Jordan 13 “Flint” 2013
The lone OG colorway of the Air Jordan 13 not in a Bulls color scheme (unless you’re counting the Lows), the “Flint” Air Jordan 13 didn’t need to be worn by Michael on court to still become a popular look. After originally dropping in ’98, Jordan fans had to wait until 2010 for their next chance at the much-loved colorway, which is the release we see pictured here. They’re finally releasing again later this year.

Air Jordan 13 Ray Allen PE

Link to buy: Air Jordan 13 Ray Allen
Ray Allen has had countless amazing Air Jordan PE’s throughout his career ever since he played for the Bucks, but collectors finally got their chance at a pair at retail in 2008 with the release of his Air Jordan 13 PE in white and Celtics green. They were incredibly limited, but you still had a better chance at owning a pair than most of his PE’s.

Air Jordan 13 Premio “BIN 23”

Link to buy: Air Jordan 13 Bin 23
In 2008 Jordan Brand introduced the Bin 23 collection of ultra premium renditions of retro models in new colorways and materials. Easily one of the best releases from the series (that many Jordan collectors wished would have lasted a little longer) was the Air Jordan 13. Limited to only 1,734 pairs worldwide, the shoe featured a white leather base with Team Red nubuck and Desert Clay suede accents, and a wax stamp “Bin 23” graphic on each tongue. Premium, indeed.

The Charlotte Hornets Will Wear Jordan NBA Jerseys Beginning Next Season

Major changes are coming to the NBA’s wardrobe next season, as the league is switching from longtime apparel partner adidas for an eight-year contract with Nike. That’s reason enough to celebrate if you weren’t a fan of those sleeved jerseys or missed the opportunity to buy Swingman jerseys at retailers across the country. Not only will the Swoosh be featured on freshly sponsored jerseys in-game for the first time ever, but the Charlotte Hornets announced that they will be the only team wearing uniforms featuring the Jumpman logo given that their owner is the one-and-only man that made the logo famous himself, Michael Jordan. In a press release regarding a change to the team’s stadium fan shop, the Hornets snuck in that information and also unveiled that the Hornets shop will stock other merchandise with the team’s logo sponsored by Jordan Brand. Stay tuned for more updates.
