Will You Be Going After The Air Jordan 11 Low GS Heiress This Weekend

Jordan Brand isn’t going to wait until the Summer to release an Air Jordan 11 this year. This upcoming weekend we’ll see the release of their latest Heiress Collection which includes a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 11 Low.

This GS colorway of the Air Jordan 11 is Summer-ready as it comes comprised out of a White leather upper that replaces the traditional ballistic nylon mesh. What really catches your eye is the mudguard which is not made of the usual patent leather, but instead a crackled textured leather in Pure Platinum that is undoubtedly the highlight of the shoe. A white midsole and milky white translucent outsole serve as the finishing details on the sneaker. Releasing in extended GS sizing on May 20th for a retail price of $175, will you be going after a pair?

An On-Feet Look At The OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 1 High

While we still don’t have a release date for the OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 1 High, we did recently find out that the shoe is expected to retail for a premium price of $350. Following that news, we now give bring you the first on-feet images of the shoe which should help you decide whether or not you’re feelin’ them.

Essentially a Jordan 1 Chicago, this modified version from OFF-WHITE deconstructs the classic sneaker and gives it a new design that incorporates new materials, textures, and branding, such as text graphic overlays, an oversized Swoosh, blue and orange stitching, a frayed white tongue and various words in double quotation marks. What are your thoughts on the OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 1 High? Check out the on-feet images above and keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Get Ready For Summer With The Air Jordan 13 Low Pure Platinum

This past weekend we saw the release of the Air Jordan 4 Pure Money which is a great sneaker for the Spring/Summer. Following the (almost) all-white motif is this Air Jordan 13 Low.

Releasing this upcoming Saturday is the Air Jordan 13 Low Pure Platinum. With Summer almost here, JB decided to give us another Jordan 13 Low and this time covered it in White leather throughout the majority of the upper with Pure Platinum detailing making its way onto the suede mudguard, ankle and midsole, the inner liner, portions of the outsole, and the Jumpman on the tongue. A Metallic Silver Jumpman has been placed on the ankle to replace the hologram seen on the OG Mid Jordan 13. You can pick up your pair beginning on May 20th in full family sizes with the men’s version retailing for $175.

Be sure to bookmark our Air Jordan 13 Low White Metallic Silver hub page for the shoe?s latest release info and images.

More Images And Details Of The Air Jordan 1 High Wings That Drops Tomorrow

As most of you know by now, the Air Jordan 1 High Wings will be releasing tomorrow (yes, tomorrow) at 10 a.m. EST via Nike SNKRS for the retail price of $200. With less than 24 hours before the drop, we got the latest info and details regarding the Air Jordan 1 High Wings.

The new Nike images you see above provide a new plot twist not many of us were aware of. The Air Jordan 1 High Wings actually starts off as an all-Black sneaker. The Gold/Bronze motif we see on the upper is already there because Nike/Jordan Brand decided to release the shoe as if it was already worn and the Black has already began fading. It’s sort of like the Air Jordan 12 the only (major) difference is that wear-away upper will already arrive faded.

As of right now, we’re not sure if any all-Black pairs exist, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Nike created some and have them be labeled as some kind of variant. Additional features on the shoe include the Wings graphic on the insoles, an extra set of laces that read “With a little help, every can fly”, and a White/Gold dustbag.

The Air Jordan 1 High Wings releases on Wednesday, May 17, at 10 a.m. EST via Nike SNKRS for the retail price of $200.

If you need any more info/images/details surrounding the shoe, be sure to visit our Air Jordan 1 High Wings hub page where you will find all you need.

Heres What The OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 1 Looks Like On-Feet

We already know that Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE Air Jordan 1 will release for $350 USD, and we’ve seen the collaborative pair in detail and with alternate lime green laces during the Met Gala. So all that’s left is some great on-feet shots showcasing the avant-garde construction of Michael Jordan’s iconic 1985 “Chicago” colorway. We get just that today courtesy of @13thmessenger for Hypebeast as the lifestyle shots showcase the Swooshless medial side branded with OFF-WHITE for Nike; Beaverton, Oregon, USA stamps of approval; and floppy ankle collars with hidden “85” imprinted also in quotes. The oversized Swoosh branding matches misplaced lace eyelets and more for a unique twist on the classic Air Jordan 1, but are you a fan? Stay tuned for a Release Date in the near future right here on Sneaker News.

Author’s Take

Juan Carrillo, Editor: Very nicely done. Love the theme/execution on the shoe. One of the most unique Jordan 1 finishes I’ve ever seen. Would love to own a pair or two. One to rock, one to display.

Air Jordan 31 Low UNC Releases Next Week

What better time to flaunt your fandom of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels then when their men’s team won yet another national championship? UNC rocked a number of PEs throughout their run at the NCAA national title and Jordan Brand even released the Air Jordan 31 Low Tar Heels PE at retail alongside a number of other Jumpman sponsored schools. But if you’re looking for a darker take on UNC’s official colorways, there’s yet another Air Jordan 31 Low featuring a UNC theme slated to release on May 26th for $160 USD. This pair doesn’t come equipped with any official Tar Heels logos or callouts, but it definitely features an inspiration from Jordan’s alma mater thanks to a dark Midnight Navy upper with that signature gradient transitioning to white by the toecap. University Blue branding matches the metallic sheen seen on the midsole for a perfect match for that icy bottom. What do you think of the look? Check out more official photos below and stay tuned for more Air Jordan Release Dates right here on Sneaker News.

The Derek Jeter Air Jordan 11 Navy Suede Is Limited To A Grand Total Of 5 Pairs!

Talk about limited. We just got word that the Derek Jeter Air Jordan 11 Navy Suede that was unveiled yesterday is limited to a grand total of 5 pairs. That’s it. As most of you know, the Air Jordan 11 Navy Suede was not for sale. The 5 pairs were only available via a scratch-off lottery at the pop-up shop that was located right across Yankee Stadium.

This exclusive Air Jordan 11 pays homage to Derek Jeter and the legacy he has left not just with the Yankees, but with the entire MLB. The shoe comes with a all-suede upper done in a nice Navy Blue colorway. Adding more of a premium feel to the shoe is the debossed branding, Black leather laces and the White midsole and milky translucent outsole. Want a pair? Your best bet would be finding these on the resell market. Be prepared to pay some really good money for this exclusive Jordan 11.

What If There Was A BAPE x Air Jordan 1

What would happen if BAPE collaborated with Jordan Brand atop the iconic Air Jordan 1? The Japanese streetwear staple did hook up with Mike’s son Marcus and Trophy Room for a limited apparel collaboration not too far back, so it’s only right that we start fantasizing what could be. Customizer Jack The Ripper is already a step ahead of us, as he’s imagined the BAPE x Air Jordan 1 “Royal” featuring premium touches of calf leather on the lining, a canvas printed ape camouflage in the recently released retro Royal look, and a star graphic instead of the Nike Swoosh on the side panel. JTR was selling pairs starting at $1,200 USD with the base shoe provided which would probably be what this collaborative pair would fetch in the reselling market if it ever happened. Check out more detailed shots below and let us know what you think of this custom BAPE x Air Jordan 1 “Royal”.
