The Original Jordan Trunner LX Is Finally Releasing

The Jordan Trunner LX broke Jordan Brand into the trainer world during the early 2000s with a unique construction that mirrored the Air Jordan 15’s woven construction. It’s a cult classic as it marks the brand branching out from the hoops world into the overall athletic category to help all athletes, and we’ve seen the retro releases throughout this year bring a number of vibrant and tonal shades alike to the silhouette. Now it’s time that we finally get a look at the coming Jordan Trunner LX OG “Bulls” retro featuring an unmistakable Chicago-inspired colorway consisting of black ventilated mesh, premium white tumbled leather toecaps, and Team Red on the heel, midsole, and back strap. What do you think of the Jordan Trunner LX OG Bulls returning later this year? Stay tuned for this pair to arrive at retailers in the coming weeks via our Jordan Release Dates page.

Jordan Brand Continues To Release Old Samples With The Air Jordan 7 Pantone

By now you know the story behind this legendary sample colorway of the Jordan 7. Originally known as the Jordan 7 Pantone from the 2010 World Basketball Festival, a collection showcasing Carolina Blue samples to harken back to Michael Jordan’s playing days at the University of North Carolina, Jordan Brand is finally releasing a number of exclusive looks at retail that were once off limits to the public. The Air Jordan 7 Pantone will launch at retailers on April 29th, 2017 featuring a remastered upper to more closely resemble the original silhouette shape of Mike’s seventh signature model, while a University Blue dominates the numerous panels and the neoprene tongue. About the only thing that isn’t draped in the Tar Heels’ signature shade is the black lining and all white midsole/outsole unit to match the Jumpman branding throughout. Check out more official preview images below directly from Nike and be sure to head over to our always updated Jordan Release Dates page for a better look at the Jumpman schedule for the next couple of months.

The Air Jordan 5 Premium Pure Platinum Drops This Week

Kind of similar to the Air Jordan 5 Take Flight (Tan Tongue), this upcoming Air Jordan 5 Premium is a cleaner, pure platinum theme instead. Featuring a sleeker leather upper, other details consist of a distinct weave pattern for its traditional TPU netted paneling, leather tongues, inner lining, gold lace tips and the Jumpman logo are seen on the insoles, as well as on the milky translucent outsole.

Look for this version of the sneaker at select Jordan Brand stores and online on April 22 for a retail price tag of $400. The sneaker will also come in a special dust bag that features a shark motif graphic that ties to designs found on vintage fighter planes.

Jordan Brand Is Releasing A Wheat Air Jordan 1 High

Yes, they finally did it. They made a “Wheat” Air Jordan 1. The tan nubuck look inspired by Timberland boots that was a first a hit about three years ago on the Air Force 1 (before almost every sneaker company started putting the colorway on a wide variety of models) at last arrives on the Air Jordan 1 High. In its “OG” construction featuring original Nike Air branding, the iconic model gets the “Wheat” upper with white detailing and a gum rubber sole to complete the look.

Get your first preview of the Air Jordan 1 High “Wheat” here, and expect them to release sometime in late 2017. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for an exact date.

Projected Number 1 Pick Markelle Fultz Spotted In Custom Air Jordan 4

We’re only a few weeks away from the 2017 NBA Draft Lottery and there’s still no consensus number 1 overall pick. Will it be Lonzo Ball? Josh Jackson? D’Aaron Fox? How about University of Washington’s point guard Markelle Fultz? If you skipped over him, it’s probably due to the fact that the team wasn’t very good surrounding him (they didn’t even make it through to March for the tournament) but Fultz was an incredible scorer with poise at just 18 years young throughout last season. He was recently spotted at the Jordan Brand Classic rocking a brand new Air Jordan 4 featuring Husky-themed metallic purple lace eyelets, a contrast black midsole, white tumbled leather, and a custom #F2G tongue patch, a frequently used hashtag by the star guard on twitter that we’re still trying to decipher. Perhaps it means first to go, as he’ll be taken number one overall this summer? Check out a detailed look below and let us know if you have any idea what the tongue patch stands for in the comments section.

Jesse Williams Thinks Low-Top Air Jordans Are Sacrilege

For this week’s episode of Sneaker Shopping with Complex, actor and activist Jesse Williams heads to Kith Manhattan for some serious sneaker talk with Joe La Puma. More educated and opinionated about sneakers than the average celebrity guest on the show, Williams speaks about the days growing up in Chicago when he couldn’t afford Air Jordans, how the Reebok Blacktops were his first name brand sneakers, and how he would spend his days drawing the sneakers he wished he could own. He also shares a strong take on Jordan Brand chopping down their classic models into low-tops. Watch the full video below.

Another Air Jordan 11 Low Is Releasing This Weekend

This weekend we were treated to one of the all-time greatest Jordan 11 Low colorways with the UNC theme getting a timely retro for the first time in over 16 years. Given the fact that North Carolina won yet another national championship made the patent leather low-top even sweeter for fans of Michael Jordan’s alma mater. This weekend will bring another Jordan 11 Low exclusive to a kids’ size run, as the Cordura mesh fabric is ditched for a smooth suede with accompanying pre-cracked vintage patent leather with the Jordan 11 Low Blue Moon, out April 22nd for $130 USD. The pair utilizes a lighter tone of navy and obsidian known as ‘Blue Moon’ throughout while touches of a UNC-esque University Blue hit the Jumpman heel branding. Are you a fan of the look? Check out more detailed shots below and be sure to head over to our Jordan Release Dates page for an updated look at all of the coming Jumpman updates for the Spring/Summer 2017 seasons.

The KAWS x Air Jordan 4 Black Suede Sample That Never Was

The KAWS x Air Jordan 4 was a complete success even if some of us were expecting the final outcome to look a bit more “colorful”. Even priced at $350, it was virtually impossible getting a pair, unless you were down to pay resell price which is currently around $1,800-$2,000.  But what if the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 collab would have been done in another colorway? Would it have been better or worse? How about the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 Black Suede Sample you see above?

The KAWS x Air Jordan 4 Black Suede above is what many of us thought the collab was going to end up looking like. It was one of the first leaked samples and now we’ve learned that it was just that, a sample creation that never made it past the sample stages. Judging by the pictures, the shoe appears to be designed and constructed in the same fashion as the released pair, the only difference being is swapping out the Grey upper in favor of the Black upper. Now that Jordan Brand and KAWS have witnessed the amount of success their collab got, do you think this could end up being a potential release somewhere down the line? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see right? Stay tuned.

The Next $400 Air Jordan Retro Drops Next Weekend

As prices continue to creep up, Jordan Brand pushes the envelope in bringing the best materials to the shoes MJ made famous. The Air Jordan 5 Premium, which debuted earlier this year in the Flight Jacket colorway, returns next week in a tonal Pure Platinum colorway that brings in a revised take on the upper “netting”, which now features cut outs on the leather. The lace-lock also features the triangular leather piece that remind us of Patrick Mohr’s creations with K1X a few years ago.

Look for the Air Jordan 5 Premium at select Jordan retailers on April 22nd for $400.

Additional Sizing For The Air Jordan 11 GS Blue Moon

The Air Jordan 11 Low GS Blue Moon is reported to drop later this April and it’s now revealed to be offered in pre-school and toddler sizes too. The sneaker won’t be available in adult sizing and it basically features a blue moon hue covering its upper. Unlike the original traditional patent leather versions of the model, this iteration is made of a mixture of suede and cracked leather instead. Pearlized blue accents are scattered throughout for more vibrancy, while a crisp white midsole and icy translucent outsole completes the overall design.

Look for the Air Jordan 11 GS Blue Moon at select Jordan Brand stores and online on April 22 for a retail price tag of $130. Keep it locked to KicksOnFire for more updates and pricing on the other two pairs.

Your Last Look At The Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia Before They Drop Tomorrow

There’s no doubt in my mind that the Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia is a perfect and ideal looking sneaker for the Summer. Low-cut, clean colors, a classic silhouette. What else can you ask for? This is definitely a Jordan retro I’d be surprised if it doesn’t sell out within a day or two.

The Jordan 11 Low Columbia comes with a premium leather upper with University Blue patent leather placed on the overlays. The tribute to tribute to MJ?s alma mater is completed by giving the shoe a White midsole translucent outsole.

Look for the sneaker at select Jordan Brand stores and online tomorrow, April 15. Adult and GS (featured) sizes retail for $175 and $130 respectively. We’re less than a day away from the release date, is this a cop or drop?
