Detailed Look At The Public School x Air Jordan 12 Bordeaux

NYC-based label Public School NY is ready to release the next wave of Air Jordan 12 collaborations this Summer. Three colorways are in the books for a release – the “Wheat”, the “Olive”, and the “Bordeaux”. All feature tonal suede uppers similar to the first launch in late 2015, with a more robust molded upper and suede Public School hangtags locked into each pair.

Today, we bring you a detailed look at the “Bordeaux” pair, which features the sultry hue from ankle to sole. A metallic matte finish on the lace-eyelets and leather sockliners add to the luxurious nature of these Jordans, while the contrasting white Jumpman at the toe lets MJ stand out. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but Public School assured us that all three colorways are set to drop this Summer.

A big thanks to Public School for sending these over.

The Air Jordan 13/14 DMP Finals Pack Will Also Release On SNKRS

Jordan Brand will be doing something out of the ordinary next week as they’ll be releasing a pack of retros in the middle of the week. What pack you ask? The Air Jordan 13/14 DMP Finals Pack which celebrates Michael Jordan’s 6th and final NBA Championship.

The historic 1998 championship series saw a tandem arsenal take the court: the Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 14. MJ switched back and forth between them during the six-game series, entering it with the former and victoriously exiting it with the latter, in thrilling fashion. Hardly anyone knew it at the time, but that sixth game would signal the end of an era. Now the Air Jordan Finals Pack returns in honor of that legendary achievement, which took two pairs to seal the deal and two hands to hoist the gold.

The pack includes a white/gold colorway of the Air Jordan 13 and a black/gold colorway of the Air Jordan 14. Some of the finer details include “They Can’t Win” and “Until We Quit” on the inside of the tongues of the 13s as well Michael shooting his patented jumper inside the hologram. The shoes will also be housed in a special commemorative box that features a print of the ?Last Shot? play drawn up by coach Phil Jackson.

You’ll have the opportunity to pick up the Air Jordan 13/14 DMP Finals Pack at select retailers, as well as on Nike SNKRS, on June 14th for a retail price of $500.

Scottie Pippen Says The Air More Uptempo Stood Out More Than The Air Jordan 11

Only a player with a game as robust as Scottie Pippen’s would be the perfect fit with the Nike Air More Uptempo, one of the most memorable sneakers in history. The shoes launched in 1996 and were showcased alongside the Air Jordan 11 and the Nike Air Shake NDestrukt, worn by Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman, respectively. But the combination of the Uptempo’s eccentric design and Scottie’s multi-tool/multi-position game made the Air More Uptempo a true icon in sports and sneaker history.

Scottie recently discussed the Air More Uptempo, noting that the Uptempos stood out above MJ’s Air Jordan 11 and Rodman’s NDestrukts, calling it the “graffiti basketball shoe”. Read the full interview with Scottie on Nike News to get more insight on the retro basketball shoe of the moment.

Air Jordan 1 Low Swooshless Releasing In Off White

No, not an OFF-WHITE collab, but literally the color of slightly darker white is what you’ll find soon on the Swooshless Air Jordan 1 Low. Just spotted last week in an “Ice Blue” colorway in python-textured suede, the same treatment is applied to this version in off-white. This makes for a pretty good sign that we’ll see the reptile textured suede on a few more colorways of the low-top Air Jordan 1 by the end of summer. Get a preview of the off-white colorway here via an early pair on eBay, and expect them to hit Jordan Brand retailers on June 7th.
