Air Jordan 2 Decon Sail And Thunder Blue Releasing This Fall

The Air Jordan 2 was the first example of a basketball sneaker trying to be more than just a performance model – it had aspirations of being a luxury offering thanks to iguana-inspired leather textures given Mike’s fascination with Italian craftsmanship all while being MJ’s first signature model without a Nike Swoosh. Jordan Brand is bringing back that thought process with the recently released Air Jordan 2 Decon in 3 Spring/Summer monochromatic colorways. The deconstructed upper added a lightweight suede finish to the model for a perfect casual vibe and today we get word that the Jordan 2 Decon is coming back in Sail and Thunder Blue for Fall 2017. The Jordan 2 Decon Sail currently has a tentative release date for July 17th, 2017 and is priced at $160 USD. Check out more preview shots below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

Author?s Take

Juan Carrillo, Editor: I dig it. I’d like it even more if the Blue on the Jumpman ends up being the same shade as the Blue on the mudguard. In my opinion, the Jumpman done in that Light Blue seems a bit out of place. Aside from that, the shoe looks great!
