Author?s Take

Juan Carrillo, Editor: Very nice. All three colorways are very clean. If I had to pick one from the three, I’d probably go with the Purple/Violet one. I appreciate the fact that they kept the same aesthetics on these as the one that dropped back in 2015.

Air Jordan x Converse Pack

Release Date: June 28, 2017
Price: $300

SHOP: Air Jordan x Converse Pack ? Available NOW on Kixify

Jordan Brand and Converse will be linking up for the very first time (retail release) to release a special two-pair collaboration consisting of a previously unveiled Air Jordan 2 and a Converse Fastbreak dubbed the Air Jordan x Converse The 2 That Started It All Pack.

The pack is inspired by Jordan?s ?Love of the Game?. When Michael Jordan signed his first professional contract it came with a unique clause allowing participation in competitive off-season pickup games. Specifically, this clause allowed for Jordan?s ?Love of the Game? (a desire to play anywhere, anytime), regardless of potential liability.

The Air Jordan x Converse Pack will include the previously seen Air Jordan 2 Alumni, and and the Converse Fastbreak Mid. Both models were worn by Michael Jordan during the mid-80s. A UNC-theme is utilized on both models. White leather uppers are accented by the Carolina Blue noted on the branding and heel regions. Michael Jordan laced up in Converse sneakers especially throughout his college tenure at UNC. He even wore the Converse Fastbreak Mid during the 1984 Olympic games. The Air Jordan 2 Alumni is a part of the pack because it’s actually a PE version of the model that Jordan wore  (while already a Chicago Bull) for the Carolina Pro Alumni basketball game for charity.

Latest News:

Updates (6/16/2017):  The Air Jordan x Converse The 2 That Started It All Pack is officially unveiled. Inspiration behind the pack and official images were also released.

Author?s Take

Juan Carrillo, Editor: If this pack ends up having a nice storyline attached to it and the execution of the shoes are done nicely, I’d be more than interested in seeing what Jordan Brand and Converse end up coming up with.

Our Best Look Yet At The Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown Leather

Over the past week or so we’ve been getting really good looks of the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown Leather, but today we get our best look yet and it truly shows the detailing that went into this special version of the Air Jordan 9.

The Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown is set to be one of two pairs that pay homage to Michael Jordan?s time with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League (1994). Looking to mimic the look of a Brown baseball glove, the shoe comes constructed out of a premium leather upper equipped with baseball glove-inspired woven detailing on the side panels and heel. Even more Brown leather can be seen on the laces to really give the shoe that baseball glove look and feel. Contrast is created by way of the White ?35? embroidered on the heels, which happens to be Jordan’s number while playing for the Scorpions. Even more White is noted on the sole, while pinstripe insoles completes the baseball theme. No release date yet for the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown Leather, but as soon as one is announced we’ll be sure to share with you. Thoughts?

A First Look At The Charlotte Hornets Jordan Brand Jerseys

Earlier this year it was announced the Charlotte Hornets, which are owned by Michael Jordan, would be making a significant change to their uniforms for the upcoming 2017-18 NBA season.

While 29 out of the league’s 30 teams will be wearing Nike jerseys next season, the Hornets will be the lone team that will blessed with Jordan Brand unis. Today we get a first look at the Jumpman-branded uniforms courtesy of the leaked image above. As you can see, the Jordan Brand Jumpman logo appears on the right shoulder instead of the Nike Swoosh. Are you a fan of the Jumpman being placed on NBA jerseys?

Youve Got To Check Out This Air Jordan 4 Transformer Custom Made For Mark Wahlberg

You’ve gotta check out this new Air Jordan 4 Transformer Custom. It’s a 1-of-1 commissioned creation made by The Shoe Surgeon exclusively for actor and sneakerhead Mark Wahlberg.

This bad boy is full of details (peep that heel tab though) as you can see via Jacques Slade’s video above. Slade explains that the shoe was brought to fruition since the people associated with the film’s marketing wanted to have a shoe that tied-in to the movei for promotional purposes. What you end up getting in an Air Jordan 4 inspired by Bumble Bee. A quick rundown of the shoe shows that it comes constructed out of a Yellow leather accented by the brass detailing to mimic the look of Bumble Bee. Check out the images and video above and let us know what you think.

The New Jordan Commercial Puts The Spotlight On Kawhi Leonards Two-Way Dominance

Kawhi Leonard is without a doubt one of the best two-way players in the entire world. He can light it up on the offensive end while also shutting down his competition on the other end. He already has 2 DPOY awards on under his bet and I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets another one this year. Kawhi is an overall excellent player, but what’s his best skill? This new Jordan Brand commercial (The Kawhi Question) puts that question up for debate.

Take a look at the commercial above (along with an Air Jordan 31 cameo) and let us know what you think Kawhi’s best attribute is.

Official Images Of The Air Jordan 5 Red Suede (Flight Suit)

The Air Jordan 5 Red Suede (officially dubbed the Air Jordan 5 Flight Suit) is less than one week away. The shoe will be releasing in sizes for the entire family, so if you’re into matching with your loved one, you’ll be able to do it with this pair. Today we take another look of the shoe courtesy of the official images.

Said to take inspiration from the act of flight (on and off the court), the design and color scheme of this Jordan 5 borrows the theme from Red and Black flight suits that we’ve poppin’ back in the ’90s. What you end up getting is a bold iteration of a classic model full of history. Red (and more Red) is found on the suede upper, midsole, laces and netting on the side panels. A Metallic Silver (3M) tongue, and Black hits on the lining and shark teeth (midsole) create contrast on the upper. Finishing off the look is the icy translucent outsole down low.
