Our Latest Look At The Air Jordan 5 Red Suede

Today we take a look at the upcoming Air Jordan 5 Red Suede. This brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 5 will probably make you think of the Red pair from the Air Jordan 5 Raging Bull pack, but it comes with enough subtle differences to give it a look of its own.

The Air Jordan 5 Red Suede comes dressed in a bright University Red suede upper. Opting to go for a semi-tonal look, even more Red can be found on the netting, the majority of the midsole and the middle part of the outsole. A dope feature on the shoe if the 3M reflective on the tongue while the Black accents on the inner lining, shark teeth  on the midsole and Jumpman branding on the heel provide the shoe with some contrast. Lastly, the icy outsole gives the shoe a nice and clean finish. Releasing on Jul1 1st for $190. Are you looking forward to purchasing a pair?

Marcus Jordan Teases Potential Air Jordan 17 Collaboration

Is a Trophy Room Air Jordan 17 on the way? Marcus Jordan has teased this collaborative pair featuring the traditional Jazz inspiration in a glass case that was once on display in his Trophy Room store location in Orlando, Florida and now it could be coming in a limited release in the near future. Trophy Room has focused most of its collaborative attention on the later models in the Jordan Brand signature series, and it’s definitely been refreshing to see the likes of the Jordan 16 and Jordan 23 featured over more traditional retros. Are you a fan of this Trophy Room Air Jordan 17? Stay tuned for an update on a potential widespread release in the near future.

The Air Jordan 2 Decon To Release in June

The Air Jordan 2 was created to be part basketball performance shoe, part luxury off-the-court model thanks to an upper texture inspired by iguanas to suit Michael Jordan’s early love of hand-crafted materials. Rumor has it that His Airness hated the shoe so much that he was thinking about leaving the brand until Tinker Hatfield introduced the Air Jordan 3. Since then, Jordan Brand has made the silhouette into a bonafide must-have thanks to limited collaborations with Don C, the third of which is coming in men’s sizes soon. Today we get a look at another lifestyle turn with the Air Jordan 2 Decon slated to release in this “Mint Foam” and “University Yellow” colorways on June 15th for $160 USD. There’s also a “Bordeaux” colorway floating around, but we haven’t confirmed if that particular look will arrive on the same day or not just yet. The Air Jordan 2 Decon features lightweight suede panels throughout while the heel and ankle collar ditch any trace of protective padding so there’s no confusion that this colorway is just for rocking off the court. What do you think of the Jordan 2’s latest turn? Check out more preview shots below and stay tuned for more Jordan Release Dates right here on Sneaker News.

A Sneak Peak At The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17

Although nothing has been confirmed just yet, all signs point to a Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17 collaboration being in the works. Trophy Room recently took to their Snapchat to give us a first look at an exclusive Air Jordan 17 rocking a Grey and Gold color scheme believed to be a collaboration with the sneaker boutique owned by Marcus Jordan (Michael Jordan’s son). The leaked images shoe the shoe come in a predominantly Grey upper that’s offset by the Gold hits noted on the lining and midsole. Initial thoughts? The Air Jordan 17 made its return last year but all the colorways found themselves on the sales rack a couple months after their release. Will this potential Trophy Room x Air Jordan 17 collab suffer the same fate? We’re going to have to wait and see. Stay tuned as more info begins to surface.
