Yep, you read that right. Financial analysts may be warning about another recession coming to America, but that hasn’t stopped sneaker fanatics from shelling out serious dough for some grails and hard to find samples. Sneaker Con hit Chicago in style this past weekend with a two-day extravaganza and one lucky vendor going by the name @Skimaskrico on IG managed to sell a fragment design x Air Jordan 1 “Bred” sample for $20,000 USD. We’ve seen this alternate colorway floating around from the usual Asian Instagram accounts who have connections to Nike factories (see more early sample shots here) and there’s no denying that this Jordan 1 pair is a beauty. The smooth leather features the iconic red and black Bulls color combination, but with an alternate red midfoot panel adding a little bit of a remix to coincide with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s dual lightning bolt’s stamp of approval on the heel. Releasing next Saturday is the return of the Air Jordan 4 GS Linen. The 2017 will release is slated to be a women’s exclusive colorway, which means that Jordan Brand did not make these in adult sizes. So if you fit, GS, PS or have a little one that can rock a Toddler size, you’re good. But if you fit anything bigger than a 9.5Y (9.5 mens), you’re going to have to sit on the sidelines for this one.

The Air Jordan 4 GS Linen comes with a White tumbled leather. The shoe gets its Linen nickname by placing the respective hue throughout the upper and sole unit to give the shoe a nice two-toned makeup. Giving the shoe a nice pop for the Summer season as the Blue hits noted on the Jumpman branded tongue, insoles and heel.

Don’t look now but the return of the Air Jordan 13 Low Chutney is now less than one week away. Scheduled to drop on June 10th for $175, here are the latest images of the shoe.

What really sets this colorway apart from other Jordan 13 offerings is its lifestyle appeal. When Jordan Brand introduced the Chutney colorway that made it a point to emphasize that they were going for a lifestyle look. I mean, it wasn’t every day that you came across a basketball sneakers done in a Chutney (brown) finish, right? The shoe comes with a Black leather and suede upper. The Chutney detailing is evident on the side panels, inner liner, outsole, and the Jumpman logo on the tongue. If you love the colors that are used on the Air Jordan 4 Linen that releases next week, but you’re not a huge fan of the Jordan 4, here’s a Jordan 1 that gets covered in the same tones.

This grade school colorway of the Air Jordan 1 features a White pebbled leather on the majority of the upper with Linen hitting the tumbled leather ankle/heel, inner liner, and the outsole. Light blue detailing on the Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel serve as the icing on the cake.

The Air Jordan 4 will be releasing in a brand new colorway later this month as we’ll see the debut of the Alternate Motorsport pair.

Inspired by the original Air Jordan 4 Motorsport that also released earlier this year, this “Alternate” version features a buttery black leather upper instead of the white that we see on the OG. Contrasting hits of grey/silver have been placed on the waffle eyelets, inner liner, the Jumpman on the heel, and the outsole. Lastly we have Game Royal on the inner portion of the tongue, the Jumpman on the tongue, and parts of the outsole. So when can you get your hands on a pair? The release date is scheduled for June 17th for a retail price of $190.

Jordan Brand has kicked off the month of June by releasing a new colorway of the Air Jordan 7 that has “Summer-ready” written all over it.

Known as the Pure Platinum/Pure Money colorway, this Air Jordan 7 combines a Pure Platinum nubuck upper with White tumbled leather on the overlays for a nice complement. Metallic Silver then makes its way onto the branding and the signature mountain peaks on the midsole.

The classic colorway of black, varsity red and cement grey simply make up the upper that consists of leather upper with elephant print overlays. Rapper Fabolous already has the Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit Bred before its official release and we get to see how the sneaker looks on-feet. Just like the classic AJ 1, this version is different with the traditional leather upper replaced with Flyknit.
