Whos Hyped For The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Flight Jacket

Now that you’ve gotten a good look at the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Flight Jacket and know what the inspiration behind the shoe is, are you in or out? Rumored to be releasing during the month of August, let’s get a closer look.

The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Flight Jacket is inspired by Michael Jordan?s 1991 appearance on Saturday Night Live. During that appearance, Jordan was wearing an Olive quilted bomber jacket. This limited Air Jordan 6 reflects that design with an Olive quilted, nylon upper offset by the Black accents noted throughout the upper. The upper is also said to be water resistant, which is a pretty nice touch. A matching midsole and an icy outsole completes the look of the shoe.

Retailing for $225, look for the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Flight Jacket at select Jordan Brand stores and online on August 2017. Cop or drop?

Our Latest Look At The Air Jordan 2 Decon Thunder Blue

More colorways of the Air Jordan 2 Decon are on the way. One of the pairs releasing next month is the Air Jordan 2 Decon Thunder Blue. Today we share with you our latest look.

The Air Jordan 2 Decon is a lifestyle version of the classic Air Jordan 2. We saw the model drop in vibrant offerings back in May, this time around the color choices are a bit more mellow. This option comes in a tonal Thunder Blue suede upper paired up with even more Blue hues noted on the laces, branding and lining. Creating contrast is the White sole down low. Are you a fan of this Jordan 2’s slimmed-down profile? If so, look for these to drop on July 15th for the retail price of $160.

A Detailed Look At The Spike Lee x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG

Who was lucky enough to pick up a pair of the super-limited Spike Lee x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG? The shoe released earlier this month in limited numbers at Spike Lee’s 40 Acres & A Mule headquarters in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Many of us have not seen the shoe in person, which is why we’re sharing with you these detailed images of the highly coveted Air Jordan 1.

The Spike Lee x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG is inspired by the 1986 film She?s Gotta Have It, a 1986 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Spike Lee. The shoe comes with leather upper done in a Midnight Navy, Black and White color scheme. Unique details on the shoe include the White Mars Blackmon logo on the heel and the ?1/3? branding on the tongue tag. Below you will find a White midsole and Black rubber outsole to complete the look of the shoe. Retail price was set at $300, but since they were limited, they still managed to sell out with the quickness.  Are you a fan of the color scheme on the Jordan 1?

Jordan Brand Gifts Russell Westbrook Special Edition Air Jordan Triple Double Pack To Celebrate MVP Season

It’s official, Russell Wesbrook is this year’s NBA MVP. We all knew it, we just had to wait until it was officially announced. Russell Westbrook became the first Jordan Brand athlete since Michael Jordan to be named MVP of the league. To celebrate this grand feat, Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand gifted Westbrook a special set of sneakers known as the Air Jordan Triple Double Pack.

The Air Jordan Triple Double Pack includes the Air Jordan 31 and two special versions of the Air Jordan 10. Why these three shoes? The numbers (31,10,10) are a nod to the stats Westbrook would out up on a daily basis this year. In addition to the sneakers, Michael Jordan also sent Westbrook some words of encouragement via a letter that read “Congrats Russell, I got my first MVP award before my first ring, too…keep going!” If that doesn’t propel Brodie to take his game to the next level, nothing will.

Lastly, Jordan Brand also worked with Phonte of Little Brother and Foreign Exchange to create an animated film that adds up the numbers that pay homage toto the amazing season Westbrook had. Check out the images of the shoes and letter above, as well as the video that pays homage to this year’s MVP.

Author?s Take

Juan Carrillo, Editor: Very nice. All three colorways are very clean. If I had to pick one from the three, I’d probably go with the Purple/Violet one. I appreciate the fact that they kept the same aesthetics on these as the one that dropped back in 2015.

Our Best Look Yet At The Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown Leather

Over the past week or so we’ve been getting really good looks of the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown Leather, but today we get our best look yet and it truly shows the detailing that went into this special version of the Air Jordan 9.

The Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown is set to be one of two pairs that pay homage to Michael Jordan?s time with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League (1994). Looking to mimic the look of a Brown baseball glove, the shoe comes constructed out of a premium leather upper equipped with baseball glove-inspired woven detailing on the side panels and heel. Even more Brown leather can be seen on the laces to really give the shoe that baseball glove look and feel. Contrast is created by way of the White ?35? embroidered on the heels, which happens to be Jordan’s number while playing for the Scorpions. Even more White is noted on the sole, while pinstripe insoles completes the baseball theme. No release date yet for the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Brown Leather, but as soon as one is announced we’ll be sure to share with you. Thoughts?

A First Look At The Charlotte Hornets Jordan Brand Jerseys

Earlier this year it was announced the Charlotte Hornets, which are owned by Michael Jordan, would be making a significant change to their uniforms for the upcoming 2017-18 NBA season.

While 29 out of the league’s 30 teams will be wearing Nike jerseys next season, the Hornets will be the lone team that will blessed with Jordan Brand unis. Today we get a first look at the Jumpman-branded uniforms courtesy of the leaked image above. As you can see, the Jordan Brand Jumpman logo appears on the right shoulder instead of the Nike Swoosh. Are you a fan of the Jumpman being placed on NBA jerseys?
