Baseball season is officially under way! Lots of teams played their first game yesterday, one of those teams happened to be the San Francisco Giants. Looking to show their respect to Kobe Bryant, a few of the Giants players decided to start the season off by wearing Nike Kobe cleats as a way to pay tribute to the Black Mamba.
The picture above shows left fielder Angel Pagan and right fielder Hunter Pence rockin’ a custom pair of Nike Kobe 11 cleats. The colorway has the cleat come in a black and white color scheme making it pretty subtle in appearance, but the fact that they managed to convert a Nike Kobe basketball shoe into a baseball cleat that you can actually play in is what’s most impressive. Do you like this new trend that has baseball players turning hoops shoes into baseball cleats? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
