We’re now only a few weeks away from the impending release of the Nike Air Presto Flyknit Ultra.

For those of you that thought that the Nike Air Presto couldn’t get any better you’re sadly mistaken because Nike has decided to outfit the sleek runner with a Flyknit upper. One of the only downsides may be the modified ankle collar that now rises up a little higher than the original. Up above are three tonal color options including blue, black and white, all being finished off with white accents on the midsoles and branding.

Select retailers are expected to start releasing these on May 5th with these three colorways being part of the first drop. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more updates.

I?ve yet to pick up a pair of Prestos but it?s going to be tough for me to pass on these Flyknit versions. They just look too clean. I wish the collar wasn?t so high though.

Kobe Bryant‘s illustrious career is coming to a close, so Nike gathered some of the more iconic athletes on its roster to talk about the Black Mamba’s mentality. From Russell Wilson talking about the fear Kobe instills in his opponents even before setting a foot on the hardwood to Kevin Durant briefly mentioning how much Kobe pissed him off, the video trailer is worth a look. Nike celebrates Kobe Bryant’s amazing abilities and propensity to piss people off with a countdown to Mamba Day, also known as April 13, 2016. Before we all say goodbye to Kobe, Nike will be doing a great deal of memorializing over the next several days by having over 200 of their athletes pay homage to the man with black and gold kicks, starting with Rory McIlroy at The Masters. He will be wearing a black, white and gold iD version of the Nike Lunar Control 4 iD.

The short video clip above features various Nike athletes including Kyrie Irving, Paul George and Kevin Durant all talking about Mamba and how he would try to intimidate them through his game and other uh, subtle ways. KD didn’t even bother to hide his real feelings about it, saying Kobe “pissed me off a lot.” And that’s why Mamba is the best…

There will be more to come as Kobe reaches the end, but at least now we know why the Nike Kobe 11 Black Mamba is black and gold and doesn’t just totally Fade To Black like the collection implies.

Ken Griffey Jr. is enjoying the most significant year of his post-retirement career as the home run aficionado was officially welcomed into Cooperstown’s Baseball Hall Of Fame earlier this year. Nike is timing things right by bringing back original colorways of his first signature shoe, the Air Griffey Max 1, in the “Emerald” version seen here. The sneaker made a huge home-run splash when it returned back in 2009 in a slew of colorways, and given the popularity of this sneaker, don’t expect Nike to stop at just one release. These have a release date of Thursday, April 21st, and will hit Nike retailers like Rock City Kicks.

This year’s Nike Presto retro has been to 2016 what the Nike Air Huarache was to 2013. The bold style of the archival running model has fit as perfectly into today’s release calendar as it did in the early 2000s when first introduced as a revolutionary model advertised as a t-shirt for your feet. Now the “Triple White” look finally lands on the sleek design as a breathable mesh base sees a traditional milky translucent white support overlay and Pure Platinum branding on the heel. The UConn Women’s Basketball team captured their 11th national championship yesterday and their 4th consecutive when they defeated Syracuse 82-51 last night. The win also cements head coach Geno Auriemma’s 11th national championship, surpassing former UCLA coach John Wooden’s previous record of 10. Since taking over the UConn women?s basketball team in 1985, Auriemma?s achievements have included 17 Final Four appearances, 11 national championships and six undefeated campaigns.

To celebrate the special moment Nike has created a special iD pair of the Nike KD 8 that comes in gray, white, navy and red, with a metallic gold Swoosh. ?National Champs? is embroidered on the inner tongue while ?11? on the heel celebrates the team?s record national championships. Members of the UConn team will also receive a Nike Championship T-Shirt and a Hyper Elite jacket.

You ever have a late night craving for some greasy fast food? You’re thinking of what you can eat and then BAM! You remember that you have some of that leftover pizza that you bought for dinner.

This upcoming colorway of the Nike SB Dunk Low is inspired by that very moment. As you can see, the popular silhouette from Nike SB has been hit with a metallic silver upper that is meant to resemble crinkled up aluminum foil. The insoles have then been hit with a graphic of some delicious pepperoni pizza. Adding to the look are black accents on the tongue, laces, inner liner, outsole and the Swoosh branding. A white midsole has also been added for good measure.

Leftover pizza is one of the best late night meals of all-time. Some how some way the cold pizza taste just as good as the moment you bought it. The pair of SB Dunks is cool I just wish there would have been more pizza inspiration on the upper of the show.

Before Kobe Bryant was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers he was a star in Philadelphia as a member of the basketball team for Lower Merion High School. Kobe is one of the few NBA players that made the direct jump from high school to the pros and the first guard to do so.

Nike will be honoring Kobe’s time at Lower Merion with this special colorway of the Nike Kobe 11. Known as the Lower Merion/Aces colorway, this Kobe 11 switches out the Flyknit upper in exchange for engineered mesh. The majority of the sneaker has been done in Cool Grey with Team Red accents landing on the Swoosh, tongue and heel branding and the Flywire on the bottom two eyelets.

Not sure why Nike used an engineered mesh upper instead of Flyknit. I think the shoe would have looked a lot better with a Flyknit upper.

The Nike Air Icarus made its triumphant return earlier this year. After stepping away from the limelight for many years, the model that was created way back in 1991 is now back in action right on time for the Spring season. Today we take a look at three different colorways that are all already available for purchase.

The first pair comes in a white upper heavily contrasted by the neon volt hits placed on the overlays. Black hits can be seen on the tongue and Nike Swoosh. The second pair comes in a white upper contrasted by the hits of forest green and royal blue placed on the Nike Swoosh and heel of the shoe. Lastly, the third pair also comes in white while being offset by the cherry and purple accentt placed on the branding and heel region of the shoe. All pairs will be resting atop a matching clean white midsole unit, thus completing the aesthetics of the shoe. Available now all around the globe, you can pick up a pair for the retail price of $100.

It definitely has the vintage look to them. Not really sure what the comfort is like, but as far as the looks go, I can see myself wearing the white pair with hits of green and blue. That would be a dope shoe for the summer.

Don?t get me wrong, I love the look of the shoe, I just can?t stand the build of it. Flyknit is all good, but the Nike Free tooling I can?t mess with. For that reason I have to pass once they arrive stateside.
