Kobe Bryant will be playing in his final NBA game ever on April 13th when the Lakers host the Utah Jazz at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Everyone will be trying to find a way to get a ticket to that game before now and then.

Continuing with the special colorways of the Nike Kobe 11 that have been celebrating Kobe’s career is this upcoming Draft Day colorway. This Kobe 11 is dressed up in a combination of White, Blue Lagoon and Court Purple, which happen to be the team colors of the Charlotte Hornets, the team that originally drafted Kobe back in 1996. Kobe was taken as the 13th pick in the 1996 NBA Draft and was traded on Draft Day to the Lakers. As you can see in the images above, this colorway of the Kobe 11 is not made up of Flyknit but instead features an engineered mesh upper and has been hit with “6.26.96” on the heel, the day that Kobe was drafted.

The Nike Kobe 11 Draft Day is expected to hit retailers on April 28th for a retail price of $160. Will this be a cop or a drop for you?

Author’s Take

Definitely a colorway that you would want to add to the collection if you’re a Kobe Bryant fan. This shoe signifies the beginning of Kobe’s career and what could have been if he were never traded.

More Military Colors Paired With The Nike LeBron Soldier 9

Nike is taking the LeBron Soldier 9 name quite literally lately with another military-themed colorway. First it was Desert Storm version draped in a tonal khaki brown, but a new colorway pays tribute to the fighters on the sea with an aquatic color scheme. An all-over matte blue color dominates the sneaker, while like the previous release, a military code is labeled on the ankle strap to re-affirm the solider motif. Is this one of the best colorways yet for LeBron’s latest team sneaker? Expect this version to hit Nike retailers in the coming weeks.

More Colorways Of The Nike Air Max 120 Are Releasing

The Nike Air Max 120 is available in its first retro release since arriving at retailers back in 1998. It isn’t too hard to see why this model had such a cult following prior to the turn of the millennia as an artistically bold design featured unique Kurim overlays that acted as a second skin for support. Nike Sportswear has updated the offering in a number of gradient colorways true to the original intentions, as this “Laser Orange” theme is hot enough to help you out throughout the summer months. Synthetic leather overlays provide a durability while mesh adds ventilation throughout. A Phylon midsole and waffle outsole are the perfect combination of cushion and traction. Check out a better view of the latest colorway below and grab this pair from select shops like RISE.

Here Is Your First Look At The Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit Ultra

Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit Ultra 1 Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit Ultra 3 Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit Ultra 2

Flyknit construction is Nike’s bread and butter. Put it on virtually any model and it makes it better. Nike tried doing this on the Air Force 1, and the show was greeted with positive reviews. Now Nike plans on doing the same thing to the Nike Air Max 1. Here is your first look at the Nike Air Max 1 Flyknit Ultra.

For the first time ever, the Nike Air Max 1 comes constructed with an upper using Flyknit material. Above you will see a few different tonal colorways, all utilizing the Flyknit construction on the upper. Accompanying the Flyknit upper is the Hyperfuse mudguard and the Flywire cables to give you that customized fit. Just like the Air Force 1 Flyknit, the sole of the Air Max 1 is said to come cored-out to make it much more lighter than your average Air Max 1. Said to be dropping in the coming season in a handful of different tonal colorways, let us know if you’re looking forward to this brand new version of the Air Max 1.

Author’s Take

I’m pretty pumped about this version of the AM1. I’m surprised it hasn’t gotten the same reception as the AF1 Flyknit when it got leaked. The fact that the shoe’s sole will also be cored-out makes me very interested in picking up a pair. Can’t wait.

The Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit is off to a great start. We’ve already been able acquire a handful of colorways both in the low-top and mid-top version. Up next is a Game Royal colorway that has the Flyknit mid-top dressed in a Game Royal and Black Flyknit construction.

The lightest and most comfortable AF1 of all time comes dressed in the aforementioned Game Royal and Black Flyknit upper. Hits of black leather can be spotted on the Nike Swoosh, tongue, ankle strap and heel of the shoe. Embossed branding is placed on the tongue and heel tab to give the shoe a nice premium touch. Down low you will find a white carved-in sole unit that helps make this the lightest AF1 ever created. Available at the end of the month, how many of you are looking to pick up a pair?
