Two Styles Of The Nike Air Max 1 Premium Are Coming This Fall

Tinker Hatfield’s iconic 1987 creation, the Nike Air Max 1, stands as one of the most influential running sneakers of all time. Not only did it introduce the world to visible air, but a bevy of initial colorways were so vibrant that it was hard to ignore the model upon initial release. Times have changed a bit for the Air Max 1, as it’s more of a lifestyle go-to these days has been updated by Flyknit, Lunarlon, and more of Nike’s latest technological endeavors to keep it up to speed. Today we get a look at two brand new colorways of the Nike Air Max 1 Premium slated to release this Fall 2016 season.

The Nike Air Max 1 Premium benefits from added stitching on the mudguard for a unique twist to the numerous monochromatic panels in these “Tan” and “Bred” colorways. The suede heavy builds even add sherpa fleeced linings and tongues for a polarizing finish (it’s a little less obvious on the Tan rendition than with the vibrant red fluff popping out of the tongue with the Bred pair). Either way, it’s Nike Sportswear’s way of warning you that the colder months are coming. Which pair do you prefer? Check out more of these two Air Max 1 Premium options below and stay tuned for a release date in the near future.

I like the colorful bead pattern on the toe. I hope we see more colorways using this same setup.

Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka SE Dons A Woolen Upper

NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 1 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 2 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 3 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 4 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 5 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 6 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 7 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 8 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 9 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 10 NIKE FOOTSCAPE WOVEN CHUKKA SE 11

Nike is making the Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka SE more suitable for the Fall/Winter season. How so? Be giving it a wool-like upper. Coming in two tonal offerings, let’s take a look at both shoes set to drop next month.

The Nike Air Footscape Woven Chukka SE will remain true to form when it comes to its tooling, this means that the Footscape Motion sole unit will still be intact and the abstract and unique look of the upper also remains the same. The only change (and it’s a major one) lies in the construction of the upper which consists of a wool-like textile upper coming in Obsidian or Dark Grey. Leather heel tabs with Nike branding on them give the shoe a nice premium touch, while the off-White sole unit provide the perfect amount of contrast. Said to be dropping on October 28th, which pair from the two will you add to your Fall rotation?

Author’s Take

I’ve never owned a pair, but I’ve always been intrigued to do so. Seeing it in this kind of upper sort of makes me want to pick up either one of them. They look really dope!

This Speckled Nike Kyrie 2 Has A Release Date

Last week we saw the release of the Nike Kyrie 2 Tour Yellow/Australia that featured a vibrant yellow upper along with white and black accents that payed homage to Kyrie Irving’s roots.

Up next is the pair above which comes dressed in a full black upper. The midfoot strap is also done in black but gets hit with Bright Crimson speckling which can also be seen on the branding on the tongue and heel. A black midsole that features a Metallic Silver Swoosh and an icy blue translucent outsole finish up this Kyrie 2 that is scheduled to release on September 24, 2016 for $120. Will you cop or drop? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

There’s a little too much black on this Kyrie 2 for my liking. The midsole or midfoot strap should have been done in a different color.

The Nike Presto Mid Utility Releases In November

Nike Sportswear is bringing the heat with the upcoming ACRONYM x Nike Air Presto, a look that introduces the world to the brand new Nike Presto Mid Utility and released at select retailers earlier today. While ACRONYM’s been known for their crazy design cues atop past NSW releases and this collaborative effort is sure to be rather limited, we do have some good news – 7 more Presto Mid Utility colorways are coming in the form of general releases on November 3rd.

Today we get a look at 5 out of those 7 Nike Air Presto Mid Utility colorways in an official detailed preview, each featuring a new weather resistant upper, added zipper construction that brings that ACRONYM-like aesthetic to the masses, and hints of reflective detailing throughout. The extended upper of the Presto Mid should be perfect for the upcoming colder months while the cage overlay retains the style of the 2000 retro that was once proclaimed as a t-shirt for your feet.

This Nike SB Dunk High Is Inspired By A Skunk

NIKE SB DUNK HIGH 8 NIKE SB DUNK HIGH 9 NIKE SB DUNK HIGH 10 NIKE SB DUNK HIGH 11 NIKE SB DUNK HIGH 12 NIKE SB DUNK HIGH 13 NIKE SB DUNK HIGH 14

Following up the Nike SB Dunk High that we just showed you that was inspired by Santa Claus, Nike SB now shows us their versatility as far as their source for inspiration.

This latest SB Dunk High takes the animal approach as it draws inspiration from a skunk. Looking at this SB Dunk High we see that it features a Black striped textile upper that is meant to resemble the skunk’s fur. White accents are then present on the laces, tongue, and midsole. Other details include an orange/green outsole and a graphic of a skunk on the insoles.

You can find this colorway of the SB Dunk High at select Nike SB retailers now for $100.

via: Premier

Author’s Take

The stripes on the upper should have been more visible so the connection to a skunk could have been made easier. Unless you look at the insoles, you can’t really tell that these are inspired by a skunk in my opinion.

The Nike Roshe One Is Still Going Strong With This Anthracite Colorway

NIKE ROSHE ONE 1 NIKE ROSHE ONE 2 NIKE ROSHE ONE 3

Just because the Nike Roshe Two made its debut a couple of week ago doesn’t mean that we’ve all forgotten about the OG Roshe One. Nike hasn’t forgotten about the silhouette either and doesn’t plan on doing so as they continue to release new colorways.

One of the newest colorways of the Roshe One to hit retailers is this pair that we see above which covers the popular silhouette with a black perforated textile upper with Anthracite, Dark Grey and Wolf Grey detailing. Down below we see a White phylon sole unit to keep things classic.

Look for this Roshe One at select retailers this Fall.

Author’s Take

I’m still a fan of the Roshe One and I already have the OG Anthracite colorway so I really have no use for these.

The Nike Air Zoom Structure 20 Pays Homage To The OG

Nike Running continues to surprise us with a number of OG-inspired running models with modern amenities ranging from added zippers (the Nike Presto Mid) new midfoot straps (the Nike Sock Dart SE) and the likes of Zoom Air, Engineered Mesh, and more with the latest Nike Air Zoom Structure 20. While this head-turning Nike Zoom Structure 20 utilizes a colorway originally found on the debut Nike Zoom Structure from 1991.

The Nike Air Structure Triax was notable for its use of the first anatomical design that gave runners more stability and reduced impact while running. Today we get a look at the Nike Zoom Structure 20 that offers a new Dynamic Support system that continues the thought process of smoother transitions while cutting and turning. A lockdown fit and updated Zoom Air technology helps a runner shed weight on their feet while keeping a breathable ride thanks to Engineered Mesh inspired by the ’91 silhouette’s “sandwich mesh”. What do you think of the look?

Check out this OG-inspired Nike running model below and grab your pair on September 22nd. Pricing info coming soon.

I actually tried on a pair not too long ago. I tried on my normal size, they were light, but for some reason I felt they weren’t as comfortable as I thought they would be, which is a shame since it’s such a goodlooking shoe.

The Nike Air Shake NDestrukt Will Retro Next Year

Who had a pair of Dennis Rodman’s Nike Air Shake NDestruckt? Odds are, if you had/have a pair, you’re probably in need of a re-up. Don’t fret, we just got word that the classic ’90s sneaker will be making a return next year!

Making its initial debut in 1996, the Nike Air Shake NDestruckt fit Rodman’s persona perfectly. The abstract/unique look of the shoe matched the look and style of Dennis Rodman off and on the hardwood. While we’re still unsure what colorways will be making a return, we did get word that the shoe will probably be dropping during he first half of 2017. Excited? You should be!

Author’s Take

Never owned a pair, thought they were odd looking. 20 years later, I’ve learned to appreciate the “weird” look of the shoe. It was ahead of its time. Glad to see it make a return.

We’re barely halfway through the month of September and we’re already beginning to get early looks at some Christmas-themed releases.

One of the first that we take a look at this year is this Santa Claus colorway of the Nike SB Dunk High. This colorway features a rich red upper that serves as an homage to Santa’s red coat. The shoe is done in a fancy velvet upper with contrasting white detailing on the tongue and the midsole. Finishing off the look are special Christmas-inspired insoles and extra red and green laces.

Take a look at the official images above and look for this Nike SB Dunk High Santa Claus to arrive at retailers in the near future.

Author’s Take

I think more could have been done to make this look like a Santa Claus sneaker. Maybe add some white cotton to resemble his beard or something.
