Is This The Most Outdoorsy Nike Flyknit Color Ever

The women’s Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit goes for a unique new blend of hues for its Flyknit upper in olive green and blue for this latest release. The resulting look for the updated Tennis Classic silhouette makes for one of the most earthy looks we’ve seen Flyknit come in yet, thanks to the mossy greenish-brown shade mixed with the watery blue. The Nike Roshe Waffle Racer NM is the latest hybrid sneaker stemming from the Nike Roshe Run. This model was created by combining the modern look of the Roshe Run, with the style of vintage running shoes such as the Nike Waffle Racer.

The Nike Roshe Waffle Racer NM comes with a vintage-inspired construction that features a nylon mesh and suede sitting on top of a thick foam Roshe midsole. Giving it even more of a vintage aesthetic is the waffle outsole we’re used to seeing on the Waffle Racer. Coming in all the colorways you see above, you can now get any of the 5 pairs today for the retail price of $115.

Author’s Take

The shoe really does have an “old meets new” look to them. I like the use of the Waffle outsole, but I’m not crazy about the nylon mesh. Overall, it’s a solid looking sneaker.

A Volt Green Jacquard Upper Appears On The Nike Air Pegasus 89

Nike Air Pegasus '89 1 Nike Air Pegasus '89 2 Nike Air Pegasus '89 3 Nike Air Pegasus '89 4

Over the years we’ve seen countless iterations of the Nike Air Pegasus ?89, but very few match up to the bold and vibrant motif that can be seen on the pair you see above. Rocking a bold hue done in a Jacquard construction, let’s take a closer look at the shoe.

The Nike Air Pegasus ?89 gets a modern look and feel by coming equipped with a Jacquard constructed upper. Making the shoe stand out even more is the fact that it comes in a Volt colorway. Toning down the Volt look just a bit is the Black noted on the Nike Swoosh, toe cap, heel, laces, lining and tongue tag. A White midsole and even more Volt found on the outsole complete the look of the shoe. Available internationally, we will let you know once these arrive stateside.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the Jacquard construction, just not in this Volt colorway. The knitted look looks great on the shoe.

Colorado Rockies Players Take The Field In Custom Versions Of The Nike Kobe 11

Who says you can’t pay baseball in Kobes? Well technically you can’t (you can if you really want to), since Nike has yet to release cleated versions of Kobe sneakers, but there’s no rule saying you can’t warm up in them. Carlos Gonzalez and Trevor Story of the Colorado Rockies are just a few of many MLB players who are now seen warming up while wearing basketball sneakers! Above you will see two different custom pair of the Nike Kobe 11. The first pair rocks sort of a Northern Light theme, while the second pair can easily be viewed as a Rockies colorway (sans the Mint on the tongue). Check out the Kobes above and let us know if your favorite MLB is also warming up in Kobes.

Could A Nike KD 9 Texas Be In The Works

Golden State Warrior (damn, that sounds weird), Kevin Durant is a proud alumni of the University of Texas. With that being the case, I find it quite puzzling as to why not more of KD’s Nike signature sneakers don’t don the Texas school team colors. That looks like it’s about to change as we recently came across a couple of blueprints that show both the Nike KD 9 and Nike KD Trey 5 IV in the Texas colorway.

Although we’ve seen a couple of KDs in Texas colorways in the past, these two pairs come equipped with official school logos on the heels. This is made possible since the University of Texas and Nike signed a brand new deal last Fall. Thoughts on the sketches? Stay tuned to find out when these two get a release date.

Peep The Nike Flyknit Racer With An All-Black Upper

Fans of the Nike Flyknit Racer may be able to add another colorway to their collection, but to be quite honest, I’m surprised this colorway on the Racer had not released already. For the first time ever, the Nike Flyknit Racer comes rocking an all-Black Flyknit upper!

Above is a Flyknit Racer constructed out of a Black Flyknit upper. Keeping the tonal look of the shoe going is the Nike Swoosh on the side panels that blends in nicely with the rest of the shoe. The shoe does have some contrast though, as Grey Nike branding is noted on the tongue, and the hits of White on the midsole and outsole break up the tonal look of the shoe. Thoughts on this new look? Stay tuned to find out when this Black version of the Flyknit Racer gets a release date.

Author’s Take

Being that the Nike Swoosh comes in all-Black like the rest of the upper, it kind of looks like there is now Swoosh at all. If it were up to me, I’d call these the Nike Flyknit Racer No Swoosh. Hehe.

The Newest Nike Huaraches Bring Premium Back To The Retro Runner

The Nike Air Huarache goes premium once again for this latest presentation of the all-time classic running silhouette. The 1991 model is updated with a high-quality construction of suede and canvas to compliment the traditional neoprene Huarache bootie. Although the construction is new, the color palette seems to lean towards the vintage aesthetic with an aged off-white canvas, dark navy suede, and Ale Brown for the translucent heel support. There’s also a small dash of pastel pink for the Huarache logo on each tongue, while translucent navy outsoles round out one of the most unique color combinations we’ve seen from Nike Sportswear all year. The “Ale Brown” Air Huarache is arriving now at select sneaker shops like Packer Shoes.

Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 1

Another look at the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Dunkman is featured, as the basketball silhouette is scheduled to make its arrival at retailers very soon.

A colorway that has been prevalent on past silhouettes since 2004, the model bears pristine white across its flexible and stretch-lined upper, as well the distinctive straps on the forefoot and mid-foot. Grey converges on the extended ankle support with an additional strap, while pops of volt green adorn the entire outsole, outlining of the Swoosh logo on its heel and notable branding across the mid-foot strap to round out the respective colorway.

Retailing for a price tag of $140, select Nike accounts overseas already have the pair available, but, you can expect to find this pair at more stockists starting August.

Author’s Take

I still like the 9 more, even though James wore this silhouette to win the championship. I?m just not a fan of the higher build and this is too bulky for my taste. This is a really nice colorway though.

The modernized Nike Air Max 95 Ultra SE is introduced in a familiar colorway which is reminiscent of the OG Neon counterpart.

Defined by a mixture of mesh and foam to create a seamless upper, the revamped build offers a more lightweight and sleeker profile, while the model?s aesthetic also bears an exposed flywire system that evokes deconstructed appeal. Rendered in light and dark grey shades across the upper, the defining hue graces the flywire, miniature Swooshes across its heel and visible air bubble unit in the sole.

Look for this pair to arrive at select Nike retailers very soon.

Orange Highlights This Nike Air Huarache Sunset

The women’s variation of the Nike Air Huarache is introduced in another new colorway this season, as it’s unofficially dubbed, “Sunset.”

Defined by an orange-colored overlay across its side panels to evoke the shade of the sun when it disappears into the horizon, a pink heel cage complements the vibrant hue, as it’s all juxtaposed against a blacked-out upper to somewhat symbolize the nighttime.

All resting atop a crisp white midsole unit to cap off the respective palette, you can find this pair at select Nike retailers nationwide now for a price tag of $120.

Author’s Take

I’ll always be a fan of the silhouette. The colorway is appealing overall and it’s a nice option for the ladies this season.

One of the notable inaugural colorways for the new Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit is now showcased in a lifestyle setting, as this racer blue offering has finally arrived at retailers.

Essentially a modernized iteration of the iconic runner with a woven composition that promotes more ventilation throughout, as well as a lighter feel, the defining hue is prominent on the upper, while tonal black comprises the remainder of its profile. Accents of white are also seen on the tongue tab and Swooshes on the side panels to finish off the color scheme.

Retailing for $160, you can purchase this women’s pair at select Nike retailers worldwide now.

Author’s Take

I?ve been waiting for the flyknit to be applied on this lineage and it looks really solid. I like the classic colorway as well. I?m just biased.

Add another named to the never-ending list Air Max 1 renditions. What you see above is the women’s Nike Air Max 1 Plush. This brand new construction has the model use new-tooling to assist in giving it a brand new look and feel.

The lifestyle offering has the shoe borrow outsole used on the Ultra Moire to help give it a lighter and more comfortable feel. The upper’s construction definitely has a look of its own as it uses a seamless synthetic textile paired up with the embossed Nike Swoosh and of course the cheetah-esque print that appears to be carved on to the mudguard region of the shoe. This new feature gives the shoe a “plush” feel, hence the name of the shoe. Available internationally, we will let you know when these arrive stateside. Hot or not? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take

It’s cool. I know it’s a women’s version, and I think it should stay that way. Being that Flyknt AM1s just dropped, Nike should have waited a bit to release these.

The NikeLab Blazer Low Studio Uses Premium Leathers

For the most pat, premium and luxurious are not words that we usually associate with the classic Nike Blazer Low. It’s a casual low-top sneaker that many of us love, but it’s definitely not “premium” looking. NikeLab looks to change that as they’re getting ready to release the NikeLab Blazer Low Studio.

The NikeLab Blazer Low Studio gets a modern makeover as the construction of the shoe is completely revamped. This NikeLab version of the Blazer Low has it come in a premium leather upper done in either a tonal Black or Tan. Each colorway will be sitting on top of a contrasting all-White sole unit. Additional features on the shoe include the embossed Nike branding on the heel, and the cork insoled. Said to be dropping in the near future, let us know what you think.

Author’s Take

It does have more of a premium look to it. I’m curious to see what it will be priced at. If it’s not too high, I wouldn’t mind owning either of these pairs.
