The popular Nike Dunk has already made the change as we take a look at the all-new Nike Dunk High Ultra Rain. As the name suggests, this Dunk was designed with the wet weather in mind as it is covered in a black leather upper with a red and black plaid inner liner and umbrella logos on the tongue. Other details include white laces and a white midsole.

You can find this Nike Dunk High Ultra at select Swoosh retailers this Fall for $90. Will you be copping?

Author’s Take

The umbrella logo and the plaid inner liner are small details, but they make this Nike Dunk stand out a bit. I think more could have been done on the upper to give it that Fall/Winter look.

Our First Look At The Nike Kobe 11 Halloween

Nike Kobe 11 Halloween 1 Nike Kobe 11 Halloween 2 Nike Kobe 11 Halloween 3 Nike Kobe 11 Halloween 4

It looks like Nike is giving the Kobe signature line a Halloween-theme sneaker this year. I’m glad I was told ahead of time because I would have never guessed it based on what the shoe looks like from afar. No Orange, no Purple, what’s up with that? Anyhow, let’s see if we can find anything remotely related to one of the best holidays of the year.

The Nike Kobe 11 Halloween comes in a tonal grey Flyknit upper. The same hue can be found on the Nike Swoosh, tongue branding and sole unit. The only parts of the shoe that symbolizes any kind of Halloween theme are the skeletal ribs on the heel, the spine-like print on the heel tab strip and the skulls noted on the insoles. Spotted for sale in Japan, we will let you know if/when these ever arrive stateside. First thoughts on the shoe? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I’m curious to see what the theme-correlation is. If it truly is Halloween, I wish it had more of a feel to it.

You Ready For The Nike Kobe 11 Black Space

Kobe may be retired, but his signature line with Nike is alive and well. It seems like a new colorway of the Kobe 11 drops every week, right? Up next is the Nike Kobe 11 Black Space set to release at the beginning of next month.

The Nike Kobe 11 Black Space is said to symbolize the dark void that Kobe has left in the NBA now that he has retired. Pretty deep, huh? The shoe is made out of a Black Flyknit upper accompanied by a bit of suede placed on the heel. The usual branding appears on the tongue and left heel, while two X’ are noted on the right heel. No word on what those two Xs mean yet. An icy sole and a tonal Nike Swoosh add a perfect finishing touch to the shoe. Said to be dropping on October 1st for $200, is this a Kobe 11 that you’re looking to pick up?

Author’s Take

Really nice. The Black combined with the icy sole works rather well. I’m sure these are going to sell well.

I’ve yet to try these one, but this colorway definitely caught my eye. Not a huge fan of the sock-like fit but I think I can make it work. The Spiridon sole looks great on the shoe.

The Nike Air Max Zero Goes Ultramarine

Tinker Hatfield brought back one of the earliest sketches of a silhouette with visible air in a way that surprised everyone a few Air Max Days ago. Since then, the Nike Air Max Zero has seen a fairly random and scatterbrained release slate and NIKEiD availability. Luckily, more colorways are headed to retail shelves in an effort to pay homage to some of the more memorable Air Max colorways with the Nike Air Max Zero Ultramarine.

The “Ultramarine” aesthetic first appeared on the Nike Air 180 OG that paired a vibrant Infrared-esque shade with the purplish-blue hue known as Ultramarine atop a simple white base. The head-turning look has since made its return onto a number of other Nike Sportswear silhouette’s but none have been as effective as this simple Air Max Zero pair looking to pay respects to the timeless classic. The Air Max Zero Ultramarine pairs its breathable white mesh with a Bright Crimson heel counter and tongue branding while Ultramarine shades stand out on the Swoosh, lining, and outsole.

Are you a fan of the look? Check out more photos below and stay tuned for release date information right here on Sneaker News in the coming days.
