The shoe is doing a little too much in my opinion, but before I say I don’t like them I’d rather reserve mu judgement until I see them in person.

Rob Gronkowski or better known as just “Gronk” made his season debut this past Thursday as he was held out of the first two games of the year nursing an injury.

Nike decided to celebrate the return of the NFL’s best tight end by giving him his own PE colorway of the Nike Zoom Train Toranada. But Nike didn’t give Gronk only one colorway, in addition to the white/blue pair that matches up nicely with the Patriots uniforms, we now take a look at a new colorful pair that has also been dubbed a “Gronk” PE. This time around the mid-top Trainer takes on a True Berry and Hyper Orange upper with Black, White, and Blue detailing on the branding, inner liner, Flywire cables, midsole, and outsole.

You can pick up this vibrant Nike Zoom Train Toranada Gronk directly from nike.com now for $110.

Decent looking shoe, but I’m just not a big fan of trainers. I also prefer the white/blue pair over this one which is too bright for my liking.

Nikes Flyknit Technology Is About To Get A Whole Lot Better

Nike Flyknit Steam Machine Patent

Nike’s Flyknit technology is without a doubt one of the best (and most comfortable) creations that brand has ever released. What if I told you that Nike is working on a way of making Flyknit even better? Better yet, making their Flyknit into a custom fit for your very own two feet. If all goes as planned, that could end up being a reality sooner that later.

Business Insider recently came across a new patent from Nike known as the “Portable Steaming System for Articles of Footwear”. This new patent is said to customize the fit of Flyknit to better fit the person that is actually wearing them. How is this going to be done? By using a machine that steams a new pair of Flyknit sneakers that makes the more malleable and compliant than ever. This will allow the shoes to form and mold to the foot of the person wearing the shoes once it’s on their feet.

It is being said that Nike has had this type of technology since they began customizing Flyknit trainers for customers who bought pairs during their launch during the 2012 Olympic USATF Trials in Eugene, Ore.
