For Nike, The FORCE IS FEMALE

We believe in strong women. As the originators of the #ChicksOnFire hashtag, we’re fans of these “girlbosses” who pave their own way, shaping culture, creating the future, inspiring their communities and demonstrating what it means to embody this mentality. For them, the FORCE IS FEMALE and Nike is recognizing this because fearless women inspire all of us daily to not live within the lines.

Above you will see a group of LA women that Nike feels that best represent FORCE IS FEMALE mentality. The images are shot by up and coming female photographer, Ro.Lexx. The women feature include:

  • Janae (@janaeroubleu) ? streetwear model
  • Jami (@jamiifox) ? stylist
  • Alexis (@_alexisq) ? model & blogger
  • Zolee (@zolee_g) ? 19 yr old YouTuber/blogger
  • Catrina (@catrendic) ? dancer/choreographer
  • Alyssa (@foreverflawlyss) ? sneaker/makeup YouTuber

All the women in the shoot are rocking the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Force Mid which drops tomorrow (1/5) for $110 or the Nike Special Field Air Force 1 that launches on 1/19 for $165.

We are a new generation.
A generation born with an realness.
A braveness.
A force.
A bond that ties us together.
But never holds us down.
It?s an undeniable boundary that defies definition.
A reminder that we are never finished.
Yet always complete.
From the courts to the streets,
We were put here to disrupt.
Made legends because we will not exist within the lines.
We prove that vulnerability is not the same as weakness.
Flawed not the same as imperfect.
It?s a power in our every step. A refusal to stop.
It?s that rule-breaking, decision-making, name taking, don?t give a damn in all of us.
It?s never one thing. It?s everything.
It?s who we are. As one. As all.
It?s the force.

You Cant Go Wrong With The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Legion Green

Up next for the Nike Air Force 1 Mid is this tonal offering done in an Olive Green colorway. Officially dubbed as Legion Green, let’s take a look at the AF1 Mid’s official images.

The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Legion Green comes constructed out of a suede upper done in the aforementioned Legion Green colorway. The same hue makes its way on to the laces, tongue, strap and to complete the monochromatic look, sole unit. The only means on contrast can be found on the branding placed on the insoles and tongue tag. Like what you see? Are you down with tonal colorways on this model? I don’t know about you, but being that I love Olive-colored sneakers, these are pretty clean! Expect to see these drop at select Nike stockists in the near future.

This New Nike Flyknit Racer Comes In A Clean Wolf Grey And Red Colorway

New year new Nike Flyknit Racer colorway. Up next for the runner turned lifestyle model is the clean colorway that rocks a Wolf Grey upper and a bold Red sole. Let’s get our first look at the shoe.

As mentioned above, this Nike Flyknit Racer is constructed out of a Wolf Grey Flyknit upper complimented by the White accents on areas such as the Nike Swoosh and tongue tag. The fairly subtle look of the upper is then bolstered by placing it on top of a sole unit that uses a good amount of Red on it. Are you diggin’ this bold new look on the Flyknit Races? If so, you can expect to see these release this Spring season.

Red Midsoles Appear On The Nike Flyknit Racer

The Nike Flyknit Racer has kept us busy even during the coldest months with fresh renditions like the recently released Triple Black Flyknit Racer and the upcoming Triple White Flyknit Racer. Those two monochromatic options fill a void in any sneakerhead’s regular rotation, but it’s nice to know that Nike is still tinkering with new color blockings for the 2012 running model turned lifestyle must-have.

Today we get a look at the Nike Flyknit Racer Red Midsole, an understated elegant option featuring a Wolf Grey upper speckled with Pure Platinum and other tonal grey shades while white Swoosh branding adds a slight contrast. The real head-turning option here is the, you guessed it, vibrant Team Red midsole stripe that adds an extra pop. This is the first time we’ve seen Nike go with such a simple colorway on the Flyknit portion and follow through with a splash of one of their flashier colors on the midsole of all places.

What do you think of this new Nike Flyknit Racer Red Midsole colorway? Check out more detailed photos after the break and we’ll be sure to update you with an official Release Date in the coming days.

Author’s Take

Juan Carrillo, News: I like the sleeker look Nike and LeBron opted to go with on the LeBron 14. I can also see this model being worn as a lifestyle/casual sneaker. The shoe definitely has potential. Looking forward to see what else the shoe has in store for us.
