Look Out For The Nike Air Max Plus Swimming Pool

Nike Air Max Plus Nike Air Max Plus 1 Nike Air Max Plus 3 Nike Air Max Plus 2

The Nike Air Max Plus returns this Fall/Winter 2016 season in a new vibrant finish of an eye-catching water graphic across its entire upper.

Shaded in an official palette of mineral teal/white — the wavy watery theme that evokes a pool vibe is simply prominent across its upper and tongue section. A crisp white mudguard complements the overall profile, which also flows across its entire full-length rubber sole unit to finish off the distinctive build. Other notable details include Nike branding on the tongue and distinctive badged branding on the heel.

This pair is scheduled to make its debut at select Nike retailers overseas starting November 24th, which may also suggest its arrival stateside.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for more updates.

Author’s Take

I?m generally a fan of runners and this style is appealing overall. The graphic looks cool, but, I?m not too keen on it. It?s pretty stylish as well though.

Metallic Silver Covers The Nike Air Max Zero

NIKE AIR MAX ZERO 1 NIKE AIR MAX ZERO 2 NIKE AIR MAX ZERO 3 NIKE AIR MAX ZERO 4 NIKE AIR MAX ZERO 5

While we await the release of both colorways of the Nike Air Max Zero Doernbecher next month, how about taking a look at another new colorway that is also beginning to arrive at retailers.

This time around the Nike Sportswear silhouette gets covered in an almost tonal upper as Metallic Silver dominates the majority of the shoe along with a couple other shades of grey. Black and red accents have then been added on the inner liner, tongue tag, branding, and outsole. Down below we see a white rubber midsole and outsole for further contrast.

Look for the Nike Air Max Zero Metallic Silver to hit stateside retailers in the near future. Will you be grabbing a pair?

Author’s Take

One of the better colorways I’ve seen release lately. A little more black and red on the upper would have made it look better.

Nike KD 9 Releasing In Red Flyknit

So much for that grace period of awkwardness that was supposed to happen between the Golden State Warriors and Kevin Durant to start the season. The team sits comfortably at 8-2 and KD is putting up his usual astounding numbers in the form of nearly 28 points and 8 rebounds a game. But even though his new uniform colors are royal and yellow, we’re seeing quite a bit of red in the Nike KD 9 release slate.

You may remember the Nike KD 9 “University Red” that dropped back in early October. The shoe managed to give off a traditional “Bred” look thanks to interwoven black and red Flyknit throughout for a simple, yet head-turning early look at the model. The latest KD 9 Red White offering takes a simpler approach that almost looks like it could be a ‘Team’ takedown of the model given the simple monochromatic red Flyknit matching the midsole while stark white Swoosh branding matches the bottom. It’s the kind of look you’d find alongside other primary colorways in Eastbay catalogs for the High School and College seasons. What do you think of the Nike KD 9 Red White option?

Catch more detailed shots at this simple KD 9 Red White colorway below and stay tuned for a release date in the near future right here on Sneaker News.

Nike Air Max Zero Metallic Silver

The Nike Air Max Zero has been used as sparingly as possible by Nike Sportswear since being introduced in 2015 to help celebrate the inaugural Air Max Day. Since then, NIKEiD availability has helped the Tinker Hatfield model grow while the occasional Quickstrike has held us over. Now we get to see the return of the famed sample turned lifestyle model with a brand new Air Max Zero “Metallic Silver” colorway perfect for any occasion.

If you’re a fan of the greyscale aesthetic, then you should be familiar with the “Cool Grey” Air Max Zero option that was made available this past October. This pair switches up the material textiles throughout for a fuse-heavy design that’s as lightweight as it is durable. Additional black and red accents hit throughout to break up the silver shades. Grab your size right now from select retailers like Oneness while supplies last.

I’m looking forward to the Sauce colorway, but, this pair is pretty solid too. I guess I’m biased towards the colorway.

This upcoming colorway of the Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite could very well be the model’s boldest offering up to date. Dubbed the Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite Flash, the model takes on a tonal approach in which the entire upper is done in a reflective Silver colorway. Today we take a look at the shoes official images.

Set to be a part of Nike’s Holiday 2016 collection, the shoe’s upper is done in the aforementioned reflective Silver upper combined with the 3M material placed all over the shoe’s piping. Branding on the tongue and panels come in the same fashion, while the hits of White noted on the laces, lining and midsole provide minimal contrast. Dropping on November 22nd for $140, are you down to wear these this holiday season?

Author’s Take

It’s a little too bold for a holiday release, don’t you think? I mean, it is a skateboarding shoe, so anything goes, right?

Like our EIC has shared, I still don?t get how this colorway correlates with the character. It?s a nice simple variation overall so I don?t dislike it.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights men’s basketball team represents Rutgers University in NCAA Division I college basketball competition, and it has received a special player exclusive Nike Kobe 11 for the season.

Essentially covered in the school?s signature colors, scarlet red drapes the engineered mesh upper, alongside the exposed flywire, laces and tongue. Additionally, metallic silver accents are prominent on the sheath logo and Swooses across its side panels. Finally, an icy translucent outsole finishes off the profile.

Unfortunately, this variation won’t be offered to the public.

Author’s Take

Maybe I’m just biased towards the colorway but, this pair is appealing. I would’ve preferred it in a flyknit construction though.

Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite Goes Full Flash

We haven’t seen a new colorway of the Nike SB P-Rod 9 drop since this past April when Nike SB went full-Jordan Brand and added both cement speckling and elephant print to the famed skate model. Nike Kobe 11 Elite Low Ghost Of Christmas Past

This will be the first Christmas that Kobe Bryant won’t be lacing up his special edition Christmas-themed signature sneakers to bring that Mamba Mentality to the holiday in quite some time. The Nike SF Air Force 1 Releases In Europe Tomorrow

Nike Sportswear killed it with the freshly released Nike SF Air Force 1 model. Not only did the Nike SF-AF1 capture everything that we love about Bruce Kilgore’s iconic retro basketball model by keeping the original outsole unit intact, but the revisionist lifestyle approach recontextualized the offering with military grade canvas and premium leather. Additional paracord militaristic straps doubled as a handle for a matching tote bag for a completely original take on the Nike Air Force 1. If you live in Europe, we have some good news for you: all men’s and women’s colorways of the Nike SF-AF1 will be available tomorrow, November 16th at 8am CET.

Check out more shots of the Nike SF Air Force 1 below and head on over to our release dates page for more of the latest updates.
