The Nike SB Dunk Low Pink Box Releases Next Saturday

Nike Skateboarding is currently celebrating the rich history of Nike Dunks through the various shoebox colors that the imprint has created over the years. We’ve already seen references to the orange, silver, and an upcoming purple shoebox colorway, but our main focus has been on the pristine take of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Pink Box” now set for a November 26th global release.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Pink Box” features an updated Elite tooling with signature box embossing on the heel. The synthetic leather upper shines thanks to a Prism Pink shade while an illustrated sockliner shows off that familiar cartoonish print of all of the Nike SB shoeboxes throughout the years. A full-length foam midsole unit offers Nike Zoom Air in the heel for a responsive modern ride that will only increase this Nike SB Dunk’s durability. A patent leather Swoosh offsets the pastel nature of the pair with a contrasting black branding.

What do you think of the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low Pink Box? Check out more official photos below and be sure to head over to our release date page for more of the latest Holiday 2016 updates.

I like it. It has a bit of a adidas Y-3 Retro Boost look to it, don’t you think? Regardless, it looks really clean.

Inspired by the AM 97 or not, this iteration is really a solid option. I’m just a fan of the colorway and the silhouette overall.

I would’ve thought that the nation’s flag colors would be utilized instead, but, I’m not against this colorway either. I guess I’m just biased towards the shades.

About two months ago, Nike began releasing Nike SB Dunks that were inspired by vintage packaging. In other words, the shoes were inspired by the color of the box the shoes came in. What you see above, is the entire Nike SB Dunk Box Collection brought together for your viewing pleasure.

In years past, Nike SB has released their sneakers in boxes that came in Orange, Grey, Pink and Black, now those same hues are utilized on an SB Dunk Low/High. With each shoe box color representing an era in skate culture, each sneaker began garnering attention from people from different times/eras. The entire collection comes with a an embossed shoes box on the lateral side of the heel, to help give it some limited-edition flair. The insoles also come in custom fashion as illustrated stacks of boxes appear inside the shoe. As a cherry on top, each release will come with packaged in their own respective SB box. The Orange SB Dunk Low and Grey SB Dunk High are available now, while the Pink pair drops on the 26th of this month and the Black/Purple pair slated to release on December 26th. What’s you favorite? A Triple Black Nike Flyknit Racer Appears To Be In The Works

nike-flyknit-racer-triple-black-02 nike-flyknit-racer-triple-black-01

Flyknit Racer fans! A Triple Black colorway of the model is said to be releasing in the near future. Now that I think about it, what took Nike so long? Regardless, here’s a first look at this upcoming rumored drop.

The Nike Flyknit Racer Triple Black is done in monochromatic fashion from top to bottom. What I mean by that is that the shoe is done in a Black colorway on the Flyknit upper, the Flywire cables, the Nike branding/Swoosh, the tongue, lining, laces and sole. No frills, no thrills just an all-Black version of the classic shoe. As of right now the shoe is said to be releasing in Europe on December 1st for $150, while a U.S. release date is still unknown. If/when these drop, are you looking to add these to your collection? Stay tuned as more info begins to surface.

Author’s Take

The Flyknit Racer is really cool, but it has to come in a really worthwhile colorway for me to get a pair. The Racers aren’t as popular as they were a year ago, so I think this should not be a release that’s hard to come by.

An On-Feet Look At The Nike Air Cruz Light Bone That Releases Tomorow

nike air cruz 1 nike air cruz 2 nike air cruz 3

After making its debut about a year ago, the Nike Air Cruz returns for the Fall of 2016. The first colorway that will be arriving at retailers is this Light Bone pair that we see above.

Covered in a combination of premium suede and woven textile throughout the upper, this Air Cruz has chosen to take the tonal route and comes draped in Light Bone all throughout the upper. A Summit White sole unit and blue insoles presumably inspired by Cruz’s New York Giants finish off the look.

Take a look at the on-feet images above and let us know if you plan on picking up this Nike Air Cruz tomorrow. Retail price has been set at $140.

Author’s Take

I’ve always admired the Air Cruz from afar but still haven’t seen a colorway that has made me want to cop. This Light Bone pair doesn’t change that either. I’ll just continue to wait.
